Hi Nb, I was following this story since the prologue. I did not comment before, but the story and your style had been very integruing.

The last 2 updates have been really angsty and heart breaking. I might sound heartless, but I am not too symphathetic towards Khushi. she knew what she is getting into and if she has to blame some one it is herself more than anyone else. But it is really painful to see what all she has been going through and lost/going to lose for an unworthy person of her love and sacrifice.

I can very well understand her parents predicament. She has lied to them and lied repeatedly. She very well knew she is doing wrong from the beginning, so all the lies. she willingly went ahead thinking she does not need anything else except Arnav's love. She made that clear when Arnav asked whom would she choose, if her parents disapprove of their relation. She did behave selfishly to some extent.

Her parents have every right to be disappointed, heart broken and angry. Why would any parents want their daughter to be in an relation which is dishonorable as per their thinking. It is not only what society thinks, it is also the fear of her future, the bad reputation and the personal hurdles she is going to face. They do not see any security and future in her relationship with Arnav.

The less said Arnav the better. His love(????) for Khushi is always with conditions. He says repeatedly to one and all including her parents that he loves her and respects. In the critical moment he tried to absolve himself out by said to her parents that Khushi agreed for no marraige and knows from the beginning. So much for I am there with you always statements !!!
He never compromised his life even a bit for Khushi. How is she really different from other relations? She is different compared to his ex's who knows the rules, but for him the relation is still the same as others.

The whole conversation about khushi's negligence caused the pregnancy is heights of Arnav's selfishness..

Waiting for the next update impatently.

First of all thanks for this super fast updates you are spoiling us now I look for a new chapter everyday.Coming to story Arnav told her always what he expect from this relation no binding enjoy each other as long as both the parties do and if not part ways no string attached that is what my understanding and hence no marriage no kids policy so he never try and support Khushis wishes. On the other side Khushi overestimated herself first agreeing to this relation thinking she will be able to explain this to her parents and society second unknowingly hoping Arnav will come around as she thought he loves her more than his principles and when needed (I am not saying if needed because Khushi knew this day would come) would stand for her with her to save her honor. He is no kid he knows very well how will society address Khushi after making their relationship public. No matter if you care or not you have to follow certain rules of society its like you driving on road you have to follow rules to avoid accidents for yourself and others.I do not know if I am making any sence or not just writing anything coming to my mind

oh gosh!!! very emotional.

I understand her parents reactions and decusions completely. Khushi knew they wouldn't approve so she did walk into that one.

But arnav is being so selfish. the relationship has always been about him and his needs. Khushi is better off without him if hes always going to be like this.

I am officially crazy about this story..I come back to the thread in every 5 mins and read the latest comments :-)
love the way you write NB..It's like witnessing a real life incident..
btw I am a very practical person and would never symphatize with anyone in Kushi's position because she got in there with her eyes open neither Arnav for loosing Kushi because he is also in fault..But because they are our beloved Arhi, I am symphatizing with Kushi :-)

Amazing update ...whatever happened was too much for poor khushi to handle alone...the way her parents found out about their relationship was too wrong ...they were bound to react that way ...also arnav was too disappointing on his stand about their relationship ...great could have been more flexible atleast ...but he wasn't so...
I am actually scared about the next updates ...
continue soon

I am glad shashi and Garima came for their daughter. A relationship outside marriage is just that a convenient opt out for the the man not take any responsibility for their actions. Khushi being the lovely person she is and not having any life experience made these choices having blind faith in Arnav and not understanding the real consequences of her actions and many young girls fall into this trap thinking love to be paramount and a vehicle to lifetime happiness. Yes love helps but there are many practical issues to life which need to be addressed in a relationship. Yes marriages break too, but it allows both parties especially the woman a lot of legal rights who is usually the most vulnerable.

So sometimes you find things out the hard way as Khushi is finding, and at great personal costs to herself and may never be able to repair the damage if they break up.

Big sigh"... Look forward to next update keenly.

I totally agree..there are legal and practical aspects to a marriage than just thinking it is a shackle by the society.. When we blame society we forget that we are also part of that society..

This is just my opinion and do not mean to offend any one..
Basically we are also animals who need to be controlled.. Marriage is a form of control which binds a man & woman in a lifetime of relationship and provide a stable environment for the children to grow up into responsible citizens themselves. I would think that this is the main premise of our parents to get us married and ours too for our children. Of course marriages do fail and may result in divorces but in that case the woman is protected by law, to provide alimony, child support etc.

I also thought of another hypothetical situation if A & K were to continue this..

If something happened to Arnav and he dies & Khushi was incapacitated & depended on Arnav financially per se, she would be penniless and would be left on her own devices to fend for herself as even the courts won't recognize such relationships!!

Uff, I should stop now :)

I completely agree. If a stong institution like marriage can fail, then what is the fate of this live-in down few years? Arnav is already used to this life style and he has seen his benefits in this kind of relationship, but Khushi is not cut out for this. She thought she is important to him to change his idealogy, but definetely not Arnav !!!

Arnav just comes across as incredibly juvenile.
Me and my wishes being the only important thing for him even though he purports to love Khushi. His small amount of introspection in the night also ended with him thinking about his wishes although to be fair he did think of the effect all this was having on Khushi.
Poor Khushi - mushkilain aayi to chhappad phad ke.
Garima is thinking of what society will think of her upbringing, not trying to understand where her daughter is coming from - an understandable knee jerk reaction but I can't see her changing.
Shashi, I feel, may come round even if he doesn't agree with her.
