PART 6
"Dekhiye! Humara Prof. Acharaya se milna bahot zaroori hai." Tanya explained the guard who was not ready to allow them inside the lecture hall without the invitation card.
"I am sorry mam, mein aapko andar nahi jaane de sakta. Agar kisiko pata chal gaya to meri naukri chali jayegi." He himself pleaded in front of tanya. While Tanya was busy in convincing the guard, Rey's eyes moved inside the hall. Through the flashes of cameras and a large crowd, he could see a middle aged man completely covered with garlands in his neck posing in front of cameraman along with trusty of St. Mary College. With a single glimpse, he could recognise that was Prof. Adhinesh Acharaya.
He looked at the guard who was busy in convincing tanya. Founding the apt opportunity, he ran straight inside the hall followed by shouts of security. The guard ran behind him while tanya's reflex worked simultaneously, as she ran towards the hall too.
While Prof. was busy in getting a warm welcome, Rey crossed the crowd along with cameraman falling straight in front of him. Everyone got shocked with a sudden entry. Soon he was followed by tanya and a number of guards who tried to take him back.
"Sir, mujhe aapki help ki bahot zyada zaroorat hai." Rey said while guards tried to take him out of visibility of guests. Prof. looked at him confused.
"Sir please sir, mere paas waqt bahot kam hai..ye kisi ki zindagi aur maut ka sawal bhi ho sakta hai.." His eyes looked pleading while tanya stood stunned looking at rey's curiosity to solve this puzzle. Somehow understanding the deepness of his words, Prof. asked the guards to leave him.
"Dr. Khurana, aap log function chalu rakhiye. Mein thodi der mein aapko join karta hu." He asked the trusty who followed him with a smile.
"Aap mere saath chaliye.." He asked Rey to follow him. Tanya followed both the men as they came out of hall straight to Prof. rest room.
Tanya closed the door behind her as the entered into the royal guest room of St. Mary college.
"Ab kahiye kya kehna chahte hai aap.." Prof. told him to continue as he took off his coat keeping it on the chair. He settled himself on the couch and invited the duo to do the same.
"Sir vo.." Rey suddenly got hesitant to share it with him. Prof. looked at him with confused expression while tanya understood his problem. "Vo.." He tried speaking again but was interrupted by tanya.
"Humein kuch mila hai...jiske baare mein sirf aap hi humein bata sakte hai.." Tanya came forward as she took the lead. Prof. Acharaya told her to continue. She came forward followed by rey and handed him the paper which they got out of the diary. Prof. adjusted his spectacles as he tried reading the language.
"Ye to bigolia tribe ki language hai. Ye aap logon ko kaha se mili." Prof. asked them with completely stunned look.
"Vo humein ye ek diary mein se mila.." Tanya expalined him.
"Diary??" He was in need of full info. For him, it was nothing but a miracle to find this piece of art at this time of earth
"Ha vo diary.." Tanya tried speaking but it was then she realised that she had no clue from where did that diary came. "Rey, vo diary tumhe kaha se mili?" She asked him who was lost in his own deep thoughts. "Rey!!" She shook him a little. He came out of his thoughts looking at Prof. and tanya's confused faces.
"Kaha se mili tumhe vo diary??" Prof. asked him.
"Vo.." He found himself void of words. Tanya looked at him with lots of questions making him even more guilty. He closed his eyes and took a deep breathe. It was time to tell the truth. "Vo mujhe ye diary ek portrait se mili!" He said making them even more confused.
"Kaunsa portrait?"Tanya asked doubting on his words.
"Mein sab samjhata hu." He took a deep sigh as he continued. He stood from his seat going away from them. " Jab 6 din pehle mein shimla aaya, mujhe nahi pata tha ki ye trip mujhe aisi yaadein dega. Pichle kuch dino se, mein jabse shimla aaya hu, bahot hi ajeeb ajeeb si cheezein ho rahi hai, mujhe har waqt kisi ke hone ka ehsaas hota hai, mujhe har waqt koi apna sa aas paas feel hota tha...3 din pehle... new year's eve par... ussi ko meine pehli baar dekha..." He continued while words automatically slipped from his mouth revealing everything. Tanya was stunned to realise the entire scenario most of all fearing for rey, while Prof. acharaya looked in deep thoughts. "...Aur phir kal mujhe ye paper uss diary mein mila." He finally ended and looked at the duo.
"Tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi.." Tanya said with tears in her eyes. Before rey could answer anything, Prof. interrupted.
"Abhi iss sab ka waqt nahi hai, humein sabse pehle iss paper ko decode karna hoga..mujhe lagta hai isme koi clue zaroor milega." He told them as he moved into his personal library. He picked out a huge old book and started flipping its pages. At once his hands stopped on a page and he looked at it intensely. He took a notepad as he started decoding the message on the paper. Before tanya or rey could guess it, he closed the book hence marking the accomplishment.
"Sir, aapko mil gaya?" Tanya asked him with curiosity.
"Kya hai uska matlab?" Rey asked him.
"Isme likha hai ki,
Jo mile na kahin
Use dhoondho andheron mein
Vo chipa hai vahi
Kisi dil ke kone mein "
"Iska kya matlab hai?" Tanya asked with confusion written on her face.
"Iska matlab to humein sirf wahi mil sakta hai jaha is sab ki shuruaat hui thi." Prof. said. They looked at him getting nothing in their mind. "Humein wapas ussi jungle ke ussi kothi wale ilake mein jaana hoga." He said while Tanya and Rey looked at him stunned.
"sir, mujhe lagta hai, humein tanya ko nahi le jaana chahiye!" Rey said while packing a little stuff with Prof. He looked at tanya who was busy in watching the scenic view of outside.
"Kyun? Uss ke liye darr lag raha hai?" He smirked at him. Rey was confused. " Hum sab apni kismat upar se likhva ke laate hai, jo bhi hona, jaise bhi hona hai, sab pehle se decided hai. Destiny ko koi nahi badal sakta. Na tum..na mein.." He smiled at rey. Once again getting himself busy in packing, he continued again, "Tumhe pata hai rey, jo kuch bhi tumhe hume bataya, usse mujhe kuch aisa clue mila jo meine tumhe abhi tak nahi bataya...vo ladki tanushree..yaad hai tumne kaha tha ki tanya ki aankhe tanushree se milti hai...kitni ajeeb baat hai na..shimla mein lanslide hui ussi waqt jab tumhe shimla chodke jaana tha...iss waqt na koi shimla se bahar ja sakta hai aur na hi andar aa sakta hai...par phir bhi..kismat dekho..tanya ko yaha aane ka raasta mil hi gaya...uski destiny hi usse yaha laayi hai..aur ab jo bhi hona hai..uska faisla bhi uski destiny hi karegi.." He said.
"Mujhe aisa kyun lag raha hai ki kuch aisa hai jo meri ankhon ke saamne hoke bhi pehchaan mein nahi aa raha hai.." Rey asked him.
"Kyunki aisa kuch hai, jise mein..tum..hum teeno iss waqt dekh nahi paa rahe..aur shayad saare raaz ussi ek cheez mein hai." Prof. kept his hand on Rey's shoulder. "Mujhe shak hai ki tanya aur tanushree ke beech koi rishta hai..kuch hai jo dono ko jodta hai.." He almost whispered making sure she can't hear. "Aaj subah jab tanya bedroom mein giri, tumhe yaad hai usne kya kaha tha.." He said making rey go deep in his thoughts.
"Shut up!! Mein clumsy nahi hu ok?!! Vo to suddenly mujhe aisa laga jaise bed ke neeche se kisi ne mere legs ko pull kiya.." She sounded confused. Rey who was finding the first aid box became alert as he heard the words. Her words kept ringing in his ears as his mind rewinded the same scene that happened with tanushree.
Prof. shook him. "Aesi cheeze sirf coincidence nahi hua karti. Kuch to hai.." He moved towards the window right in front of his table studying the beautiful view of snow covered mountains of shimla. It was beautiful but still mysterious. "Kuch to hai jo in wadiyon mein chipa hua hai.
Prof. kept a small bag with necessities inside his car while tanya and rey who were at the other side of the road started walking towards him.
"Rey, tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi?" She asked him.
"Vo..tanya mein tumhe ..pareshaan nahi karna chahta tha." He explained her. There was utter silence. They were crossing the road.
"Tum mujhe pyaar karte ho na?" She asked him with the same innocence and all he could remember was the day when he proposed her.
Among the bachelors of St. Louis celebrating their annual celebration, a guy was busy in calming down his heart.
"All is well..all is well..." He continued patting his heart.
"Tu pakka behosh nahi hoga na!!" Vicky giggled while Neil and amar joined him.
"Stop it guys, vo waise hi itna tensed hai." He glared at the trio. "Dekh rey, mein samajhta hu, just be cool aur bol de jaake tanya ko." He said to rey who was busy in repeating the same old words 'ALL IS WELL'.
"Dekh vo rahi.." Neil pointed in the direction from where tanya appeared looking angelic like ever. Rey's repetition frequency increased.
"Jaa bol de.." They pushed him towards her while it looked like his leather shoes were stuck on the floor unable to move. Swayam getting highly frustrated, gave him a sudden push making him almost fall on her. Tanya hold him through his shoulders as she balanced both of their bodies from falling.
"All is well...all is well..." His speed reached infinity while she looked at him confused not getting what was he saying.
"Rey, ye tum kya bol rahe ho?" Tanya asked him. He stopped suddenly hearing her voice.
"vo..vo mein..mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai." He said while the boys cheered for him.
"Mujhe nahi lagta bol payega.." Neil said.
"Tu nahi jaanta, subah se 200 baar mirror ke saamne practice ki hai. Bolega." Vicky said.
"Chal lagi 500 ki. Double or nothing. Nahi bolega!" Neil extended his hand.
"Bet. Bolega!!" Vicky shook hand with Neil.
"Aree!! Arre!! Mein bhi!" Amar too kept his hand on theirs.
"Tum log chup rahoge, vaha uski phat rahi hai aur tum log yaha bet laga rahe ho." Swayam said.
"Abe! Dekh usse! Aaj itna phattu hai vo ki tanya uske saamne kisi aur ke saath naach rahi hai aur phir bhi bolne ki himmat nahi ho rahi usme." Neil pointed at the dance floor where rey was staring heartbroken at tanya who was dancing with another guy.
"Abe yaar! Iska devdas jaag gaya to mere 1000 chale jayenge!!" Vicky said. Rey looked at the gang who again cheered him to go and talk to tanya. He took a deep breathe as he moved towards tanya.
"Just do it Rey!!" He murmured to himself.
"Excuse me!" The guy looked at rey. "Tanya mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni hai.." He said. He looked at the guy who smiled and moved away leaving them alone.
"Bolo!" Tanya told him to continue.
"Vo mein..mein vo.." He again started stuttering.
"Arre buddhu!! 3 words bolne mein koi itna time lagata hai kya?" She shouted grabbing everyone's attention.
"Ab bolo bhi, you love me!!" She said getting frustrated.
"I..I love you." He became scared with her sudden outburst. Tanya became elated and hugged him tightly while he stood there in shock. The whole party became loud with the cheers and claps for the new couple. Neil looked at them dramatically as 1000 rupee note slipped out of his pocket going straight into vicky's hand who was laughing like a maniac.
Tanya broke the hug and looked at rey, "Tum mujhe pyaar karte ho na?!" Her one question made him come out of his thoughts. He had fallen head over heels for her and there was no way denying it. He kept his lips on hers catching her into an urgent kiss while totally ignoring the hoots of students and curses of teachers. The kiss went deep as they forgot everything around them. He smooched her lips tasting her gloss while she hold his hairs for support. He entered her mouth, for the first time seeking dominance. His hands wrapped around his waist while their tongues entangled wishing for enternity. After a unwanted need of breathe , they broke the kiss, still looking in each other eyes.
"I LOVE YOU!!" He said with much larger confidence.
"I LOVE YOU TOO!!" She said with a huge smile a sprinkle of tears and an adoring blush.
"Rey!!!" Rey was in deep thoughts when he heard a loud scream of tanya, followed by a push making him fall on the other side of the road. His head snapped at the road as he heard a loud crash sound only to find a racing car running away and crashing into a pole nearby while tanya was no where in vicinity. His eyes searched her caring least about his own bleeding hand and forehead. Prof. handled him as he looked for tanya.
"TANYA!!!" He shouted. No response. He moved towards the other side of road where they were standing a few minutes ago. The road had a sharp end with a deep cliff and a river at the base of it. His eyes moved horribly at the end of cliff and the next view made him lose his senses.
With the blood flowing out making the river red, she was lying on the rocks at the shore of river horribly bleeding. His heart forgets to beat as he found her lying there unconscious. Prof. ran to find help while for rey his entire world stopped. Only her words kept ringing in his mind.
Tum mujhe pyaar karte ho na?
"I love you tanya..I love you.."
P.S. I wanna inform all my readers that now is my high time to study. Basically agar meine abhi padai pe dhyan nahi diya, to pura career gaya tel lene😕 isliye I will be highly irregular with the updates. Kabhi agar bahot mann kara to shayad jaldi jaldi update likh do. Otherwise, june tak aisa hi chalega. I am really sorry. Mein iss waqt pms ka bhi reply nahi de rahi. Sab kuch banned hai Hope you all understand. Btw! 17 ko mera exam hai and uske baad 20 ko ek exam ke liye delhi jaana hai and then their are lines of exams..🥱 please do wish me a luck yaar..ab to sirf dua hi bacha sakti hai
