Khushi: Ofcourse not. This is not possible anytime. How can I marry you Mr Raizada. I met you some days back and I cant even think of marrying you when you are already engaged to some other girl who is so much possessive about you. And wait a minute, how can I forget the most important thing? I dont like you much either. I mean you are good but not to a husband level for me. I.

Arnav: SHUT UP

She would have continued but his one Shut up actually made her blank.

Arnav: You think I like you? You think I am dieing to marry you? You think I am happy to break my ties with Lavanya and the Partnership deal we have between us ? Never Miss Gupta. I cannot think even 1% of this. So please, dont react like I am waiting for your one Yes.

Why would he take nonsense from her? He was Arnav Singh Raizada afterall. Even when he lied every question he asked her just now, he was still very good enough in hiding that lie giving her a scournful look.

Khushi: Great. Its simple then. Just take off Buaji's words from your mind.

Arnav: I already have

He commanded and turned to leave.

Arnav: So as this Mohan's proposal stands cancelled, I hope you will find some way to convince Buaji on what we think about her suggestion.

Khushi: Leave it on me.

Arnav: Good. So let me take a leave then. I will see you both tomorrow.

Khushi: No need. Spend some time with your Fiancee.

Arnav: I dont need your advise. You better concentrate on Palak and leave my personal stuffs for me to decide.

He opened the door and left out of the house. He was so confusing. Just some time back she thought he was good with her and now once again he was acting all wierd. She picked Palak and took her inside the bedroom.

Hotel

THough he was having a Candle light Dinner with Lavanya, all his mind was concentrating on Buaji's words. Her suggestion did seem to be excellent. It would sort everything very easily. But there were complications and loop holes in this advise. The main thing was will his family accept Khushi? If they never accepted Payal, how can they accept Khushi so easily? And secondly Lavanya. How will he deny her for marriage?

Lavanya was busy discussing her plans of celeberating some party after returning back to Delhi but seeing Arnav lost in some thought she was frustrated. She clicked her fingers.

Lavanya: What is wrong? Did you even hear what I said ? What are you thinking ASR?

Arnav: Palak. I am worried for her.

Lavanya: Palak? Ohh come on ASR. She is just a kid and you can easily take her back from this Khsuhi Gupta. Your strength and power can bend anyone then why not Khushi?

Arnav: Because she is not what we think her to be. Palak is really close to Khushi and I think only she can be a good care taker for Palak in future.

Lavanya: Well then its simple. Let Palak be here and we will get back to Delhi.

Arnav: I cant do that until Khushi secures her financial life too .

Lavanya: Khushi Palak. Khushi Palak. What is wrong with you ASR? You have no time for me right? All you can do is meet these two daily but cant even have a proper dinner with me without thinking about them?

Her anger was justified. She was his fiancee and needed his attention. Arnav tried his best to come out of his thoughts and finally held her hand.

Arnav: Lets get back to Delhi. And I will take care of my responsibilities here before leaving.

She was happy. Atleast she would make him concentrate only on her once they are out of Lucknow.

Next Day

Buaji seemed to be packing her bags when Arnav entered the Gupta House. He was astonished to see Buaji in a angry mood and Khushi trying to convince her.

Arnav: Anything wrong Aunty?

Buaji: Everything is wrong but you both will never understand. Both say you care for Palak but none of you can do anything for her. I gave such a good suggestion but your ego's likes came between it and none of them are ready to sacrifice your present for the future. What is my need here now? I am leaving back to Village.

Khushi: Buaji but why you leaving ?

Buaji: What will I stay for? I had come here to decide your marriage proposal. Even that you denied. You are used to stay alone with Palak. You think you can take her responsibility then do it. I have no more work here .

Arnav didnt wish to intrude in their family matter. BUaji went in to check her clothes and Khushi asked Arnav to get seated.

Arnav: Uhh. I guess we should think again Khushi.

Khushi was angry

Khushi: Dont you understand once what I say? I dont want to get married to you Mr Raizada.

Arnav was angered too

Arnav:I am not talking about marriage Dammit. I havent taken that suggestion seriously yet Miss Gupta and dont make me change my thoughts or else you will have to give up this denial of yours and marry a man like me whom you dont like much.

She gulped her fear and turned her gaze.

Khushi: What were you asking for if not this marriage?

Arnav: The Job. In Delhi . In my Office. This is the only best solution after what Buaji suggested.

Khsuhi: Never. I can sense you and your family snatching my baby from me

Arnav got up from the Couch and turned her to face him.

Arnav: Stop being arrogant Miss Gupta. I am leaving today for Delhi again . Your Buaji is leaving back for Village. If tomorrow anything wrong happens how would you handle alone?

Khushi: I can manage. I handled Palak all these months and I still can.

Arnav: Think again. I am talking on the finance perspective too.

Khushi: I said I will manage Mr Raizada. I dont want your money.

Arnav: Its Palak;s money Khushi. She owes it. I can help you with that and you will never have to think much about how you can raise her.

Khushi : She doesnt need that money because even her father didnt touch it after he got married to my jiji.

Arnav was really losing his mind in making this arrogant girl understand.

Arnav; Fine then. Mark my words Miss Gupta, you will repent on this decision one day. But I am not among the people who will let this matter easily slip away from my hand. Even if you dont take my help, I will always be there for Palak whenever she is in need.

He saw Buaji standing with Palak in her arms and looking at them fighting. He walked to her and caressed Palak's cheeks once with his fingers. She smiled at him extending his hands towards her. He kissed her knuckles and then turned back to leave. Palak caught his finger not letting him go. Khushi was watching everything. So he was leaving back to Delhi? She will be alone with Palak again? She didnt know if she had taken a wise decision. All she wished was she never needs his help again.

Late night

Jeff was driving the Car while Arnav and Lavanya were sitting Behind. Arnav was still in the thoughts of Palak only. He was feeling something wrong as if she needed him but Lavanya asked him to chill as this was just his misconception. They almost had drove half of the distance by now when he got a call on his mobile. It was 03:00am and Khushi was calling him. He immediately answered the call

Arnav: Hello ? Miss Gupta is all okay there ?

She was crying on the Phone and he was more worried

Khushi: Mr Raizada. Palak. Woh Palak is not well . She has very high fever.

Arnav: Kya? But she was all okay today morning, Then ?

He asked Jeff to stop the car so that he can talk to her. He got down the car for getting a proper signal and continued.

Arnav: Okay Stop crying. Just take her to the hospital now . I will be there by morning. And be in touch. Whatever happens keep calling me. You get that?

She gave an affirmatory reply and he cut the call turning to Jeff and Lavanya who also had got down by now.

Arnav: Take Lavanya back to Delhi Jeff. I have to reach Lucknow again.

Lavanya: What? But why?

Arnav: Palak is having high fever and Miss Gupta is tensed.

Lavanya: Its just a fever ASR and cant she handle that much?

Arnav : Shut up Lavanya. Palak is a kid and Miss Gupta was sounding worried. I dont want her to be alone at such times.

Lavanya: Till date she handled everything then why not now ?Why does she need you now? Or have you thought of breaking everything with me inorder to give Palak and that Miss Gupta a new life ?

Arnav was not in a mood to discuss such matters when he was already much worried for the baby and Miss Gupta.

Arnav: Think what you want. Jeff. Take her back

Jeff: But ASR how will you manage to find a ride back to Lucknow? Do one thing. Take this Car and I will book a CAB to take Lavanya Maam back home.

Arnav thought it to be a feasible option. He didnt wait for any more arguments and left towards Lucknow

Lucknow

Arnav had managed to send a Car for Khushi to her home to get the baby to the best hospital. Even if he was not present there, his men did help with the procedures and Khushi only had to concentrate on the Palak. The baby was taken inside the room for checking and Khushi was asked to be out. It was almost morning now. Palak seemed to be fine but she was sleeping. After a continuous cry of an hour finally Khsuhi could make her sleep and was sitting outside the room feeling bad. She never saw Palak in such a worse fever. She now realised how important money was for her in such emergency.

She felt his presence nearby her. She scanned her surroundings to know if he was really here. The moment she saw Arnav Singh Raizada inside the hospital, she couldnt control her steps towards him. She needed someone to comfort her and tell her that Palak was fine. She could now realise what he meant by needing a support in handling Palak. He wanted to advance towards her. She looked distressed. She didnt sleep probably the whole night taking care of the baby . He wanted to shout at her for not taking his words seriously. How could she ignore his suggestions? In few seconds he saw her running towards him and landing directly in his arms hugging him tight and crying bitterly.

Khushi: Humme maaf kijiye Arnavji. Humme aap ki baat maan leni chahiye thi. (Forgive me Arnavji. I should have listen to you before )

For seconds Arnav Singh Raizada was breathless. Palak's Maasi was straight in his arms? He can never even dream but it happened in real? He heard her soft sobs in his ears and felt immensely bad realising her state. He wanted to wrap his hands around her, comfort her , assure her that nothing will happen to Palak now. She was safe with her, with him. Infact she was Safe with THEM.

Wat if palak kept on crying bcoz arnav left.. Wudnt that be a nice thought. It wud leave no other option but for khushi to leave with him. As wat? Is the question..

I think Lavanya is right. If Kushi could manage till now, why is she calling Arnav of all people for a simple fever. That sounds unreal. It means Kushi too wants Arnav.

Aranv seems very formal towards lavanya, but he always very conscious while handling khushi, don't think palak is the only reason, better clear his stand to her as la's expectations r very natural for any girl, buaji is indeed given the best solution, hope things r settle between them..nice update...

Nice update asusual tintin..
La was insecure from the begining..its better to back off than living insecure whole life..
So i feel la is out of scene now...
Better arnav realise his feelings for kushi soon than thinking that he is only concerned for palak..
