Glad you could find time to read this story and actually liked it. I know it is confusing, so much that sometimes even I have to look here and there to understand what is happening😆 But I plan to make it more intelligible as we progress further

but after reading all the updates there are just two points that seem to be nagging me ...

Shashi Gupta's friends the Raizadas sacrificed their lives while saving Garima and the Raizada kids were left in the care of their Nani - then is it not the duty of a stinkingly rich Shashi Gupta to follow up and see to it that the Raizada kids are atleast well off financially - why is it that the chemical factory was let go from the hands of the Raizadas - this shows a slightly callous side of Shashi

This is how I see it, though I haven't mentioned it anywhere in the story nor was I planning to. But since you asked. Shashi, after the Meena Bazaar incident was too wrapped up in his own grief to even think of anything else. To have lost the love of his and then shipping his only daughter off to abroad was too much for the man. He did see that Arnav and Akash were safe with their nani. At least alive. The chemical factory had no means to survive what with both the sons too young and no one experienced to support them or take care of the factory. Once Shashi returned to his senses he made it a point that Raizada children had enough financial aids to start their own business again. Hence he funded for AR ( and that was the cause of rift between Arnav and Akash) and remained a silent partner intil he was convinced that Raizada boys were strong enough to stand own there own.

Shashi though, is a very flawed character, like my most characters. Except for Khushi everyone in here has a grey side to them. I hope I answered your question?😛

Secondly, in the meeting with Aman he referred to Shashi , Sheetal and Rana in the same line and also from the convo between Sheetal and Rana it can be deduced that Shashi tried his best to thwart the overtures of Rana on Shyam though the attempt proved futile - if that is the case then the police and Shashi just have to follow Sheetal and Shyam (though Anjali seems to be doing that) to nab Rana when he meets Sheetal ???

these are the only areas that left me puzzled...

Rana is one of my strongest, shrewdest and most callous characters. He is evil through and through. But that doesn't mean he is any less to Shashi, Aman and Raghu in impact. I did mention in the chapter where Sheetal and Rana talk that he met her after so many months of returning to India.

It isn't simple to trace him. Eighteen years of exile and nobody knows what he looks like, where he is. Anjali does provide them with information of his plans through Shyam but even that is nothing subtle. Only hints and clues. Simply following Sheetal and Shyam won't help the cause. If that be - Rana wouldn't be the one of the most wanted criminals. He knows how to hide himself. He knows how to play this game.

In the chapter Sheetal and Rana talk, I have hinted that Shyam is blinded by Sheetal and Rana. He has been fed lies, stories until he has no option but to believe them.

Anjali being on the hounding side seems to have put to better use the ruthless qualities of Rana - i just hope that she gets the upper hand of the entire situation ... kudos to you Anjali 👍🏼

Arnav seems to have more layers to his personality than what meets the eye ... is modeling just a facade to the real Arnav... i wonder "Who are you Arnav ?"
