She was still unconscious and Arnav had not moved away from her and his baby since the time he had got her back in his room, away from that sister of hers who was the reason for her sufferings. How could she try brainwashing her mind at this stage? Prachi killed her first baby which was his child and now she was punished by this unknown force which they termed to be God who snatched her second child again before its birth. This surely doesn't give her any right to come and spoil Khushi's happiness and his child from her.

He caressed Khushi's cheeks with his thumb wiping off the stains of her dried tears and then something took over his mind and heart. He leaned on her and kissed her forehead once.

Seemed like he had no intentions to move his lips off her skin after that. She breathed hard with this sudden contact of his lips on her and then relaxed again when he moved back.

Prachi who was standing at the door from past few minutes couldn't believe what she just saw and felt. This man was getting tender in his actions with Khushi. Has this contract marriage between them changed anything in their relationship? Most importantly will this change remain forever in his actions even after the baby was born and handed back to him? Will he allow Khushi to leave him and their child and walk out of his life? All these questions were necessary for Prachi to get answers from Arnav because even if she hated what he did with her sister, she wished to know if by any chance he had plans to make things better ahead.

Arnav covered Khushi properly with the Sheets. He was really thankful that she and the baby were fine. She was unconscious because of stress and the Dr who had come some time back had given her sedatives making her rest for a while. He could feel someone noticing them and he turned his gaze towards the bedroom door. The sight of Prachi standing there and watching them made him lose his mind. He angrily came towards her and then shutting the room door, he dragged Prachi away from that room.

Prachi : Arnav ? Leave me

He left her hand after they were at some distance from his bedroom and he turned back to her.

Arnav: Exactly Prachi. I have left you long back then why the hell have you returned here and disturbing my family?

Prachi: Because you are hurting my sister Arnav. WHat have you done with her in the name of Payback? Where was she at fault? Didnt your ego satisfy by stealing my father's business? Why did you make Khushi go through all this. ?

Arnav: Its between me and her and I dont need to give any explanation to you.

Prachi: I am her sister Arnav. You have to answer me this.

Arnav : Ohh really? A Sister? Is this how a sister behaves to the other who is already 4 months pregnant? Do you realise what would have happened if she had collapsed on the floor? Thank to God who didnt let my baby and Khushi hurt Prachi otherwise I would have killed you.

Prachi was very much shocked with the choice of his words.

Prachi: You are still the same Arnav. No repentance for anything wrong you do. Even when we shared that bed of yours and even now when you made my sister pregnant with your child.

Arnav gritted his teeth remembering that old times which she was forcing him to think about.

Arnav: We sharing the bed was mutual Prachi. Dont blame me for that night. And once again Khushi having my child in her womb was a mutual decision. She said a Yes for this .

Prachi: Because you practically forced her to. You snatched her father, our business, her fiancee and everything else that was so close to her. What was she supppsed to do then? She is naive Arnav. Not like me who can manipulate a person like you. I know to handle people, she doesnt.

Arnav: Wrong Prachi.!! You have no idea how to handle relationships otherwise you would never hide the fact that you carried my child . You would have talked to me, asked me what I wished and trust me the entire scenario would have been different. I know I wasnt ready for marriage but do you think knowing my child is in your womb I would have still stuck to that same policy? I would have married you Prachi and atleast given that child a life unlike you who killed it without even its father's concern. How could you.? You know what? Only because of that one fault of yours and Shashi Gupta, today Khushi is getting the fruits of pain here. Everything is counted somewhere Prachi. Every deed is calculated and what you did to my child that time, the same happened to it again. What you sow, so shall you reap

Prachi realised and felt the truth in every word he uttered right now but she too didnt hold herself from showing him his right place.

Prachi: Well said Arnav. Well said.What you sow, so shall you reap. You made my innocent sister who had never harmed you intentionally to go through all this, a day would come when she will make you pay for all this. You have no idea what you are sowing at the present. You will get your child from her no matter what. But after that you will yearn to have a mother for that child. You think its easy for you to raise that child being a single father? You think your family, your DI will support you life long to give love to that child? You are wrong Arnav. A day would come when you will realise what you have snatched from that baby. And let me see how you manage to settle your life back then. 5 more months and me and my father will take Khushi away from you and the baby. After that you will die each moment seeing your baby crying for his/her mother's warmth.

Arnav : ENOUGH of this.

He roared in anger and Prachi stepped back in fear.

Arnav: Not another word against the baby Prachi. Get out of my house.

Prachi: Who wishes to stay here? But I wont leave until I see my Khushi fine. I wont leave until I speak to her.

Arnav: In your dreams Lady. You have spoke enough to her and I have seen the consequences too. I wont let my WIFE's life in trouble because of you. So before I ask the security to throw you out, leave.

Prachi was little afraid of him and his anger. She knew if she doesnt listen to his orders, he will make her throw out by the guards. Meeting Khushi again was impossible in his presence. But she will now leave the house and plan something else to meet Khushi later once she is keeping fine. She walked away from him and he kept looking at her until she was away from his sight.

Morning

"That man ruined my life, Paapa's life and you are sticking to him in this house Khushi? He never really cared for anything except sleeping with girls. A day would come when he will drag you out of his life snatching his child from you and then you will realise what you have lost."

Her sister's words were ringing in her ears and she got up with a jerk from her sleep and touched her stomach to feel the child. She can never let him take her child away. She was sweating and she felt as if that day had come when he had got the baby beside him and he would throw her out of his life and this house now. She looked at her surroundings. It was morning and she was alone in her room. She tried to calm her breathes and thats when morning sickness made her rush inside the washroom.

When he entered inside she was not on bed and he was all the more worried for her. He knocked the bathroom door.

Arnav: Khushi are you okay?

She didnt respond and his curiousity was increasing.

Arnav: Khushi answer me Dammit.

He angrily banged the door once and found her opening the knob and coming out holding her stomach. He immediately held her in his arms and she closed her eyes feeling dizzy. He made her sit on the bed and passed her some water to drink. He rubbed her back smoothly which made her feel better,

Arnav: Should I call a Dr?

Khushi: No. I am fine.

Arnav: Lay down.

He quickly arrnaged some pillows on the bed and made her touch her back on those soft cushions. She sat on the bed breathing normally while he covered her feet with the Sheets again pinning her in between his arms which rested on either sides of her legs.

Arnav: How are you feeling now?

Khushi: I want to see her. Where is Prachi?

Arnav's anger was once again rising but he controlled before her.

Arnav: She is the reason why you not keeping well since last night Khushi.

Khushi: I asked where is my Sister

Her anger was visible in her eyes and he could only sigh in disappointment.

Arnav: I asked her to get out of my House last night. She left. I cannot see anyone hurting you and the baby.

Khushi: What? You made her leave? Do you even realise she needed to talk to me? She has lost her baby and I couldnt even sympathize to her.

Arnav: Did she sympathize to you for what you did for her ?

Khushi: I dont care. I am going to see her.

She tried pushing the sheets away but he caught her hand and pinned her gently to the cushions behind.

Arnav: Dont get up from this bed. You need rest. The baby needs rest.

Khushi: Meeting Prachi is important for me .

Arnav: What you are you so desperate to ask her Dammit ?

Khushi: Why? WHy SHould I answer you ? Just leave me alone okay ?

She struggled to set her hands free from him but he only tightened his hold

Arnav: You are my Wife Dammit. ANd I wont leave you alone Khushi.

She stared in his red eyes for some seconds and then turned her gaze to the other side not wishing to look at him. When she stopped struggling he loosened his grip and then left her hands which had pinned .

Arnav: I will get Prachi here but you wont move from this bed. You get that?

She was happy that he was atleast listening to her demands still

Arnav: And one more thing, if she dares speaks anything ill about this whole payback scenario or if you shed even one drop of tears while talking to her, I swear she will face the consequences again and not you. So better be prepared to have a healthy talk.

She didnt reply anything. He picked his phone and dialed some number and left out of that room.
