Coming to the update, it was simply awesome. I was both crying & smiling through the first half. The song was a perfect fit. I always get emotional whenever I find this song picturised on friends. And who could be better friends than these. To tell you the truth I am always emotional whenever I come across a song on friends. Thank you!😳 smiling is good...crying..tears of joy, right?🤔 I love that song too! I've actually made a vm on it with pics of me and my friends...sort of played it at our "going away" party when we all parted ways after high school.
The pictures were all amazing. I could literally see them. And the last one at the airport, with Khushi's gesture of showing the tattoo was really heart-touching. And that reminded me you still haven't told us Arnav's side of the story.I haven't forgotten sweets...there will be things that will lead to ArHi discussions and confrontations and then Arnav's side shall be revealed.😳
And then we have Khushi surprising everyone. I had expected her surprise but surely not in this party itself. And the commotion that followed was so perfetly done by you. The best part undoubtedly Arnav's stunned silence, holding back his tears and then Khushi calling his name and hugging him and finally tears making its way to her eyes. Khushi's partner in crime, her buaji and Arvind. Now I understand why he subtly forced Arnav to attend the party. ArHi face-to-face scene took me the longest to write...I couldnt decide which mood setting to write it in...and yeah...I couldn't stump you, Sarah, and swati with Khushi's return...all three of you were like "oh I knew she would come back to attend the wedding"...no worries...better luck next time...lol.
And then what I loved the most, Arnav, despite being mesmerised by the gorgeous lady Khushi has turned into, missed the tomboy girl she once was, his Khushi. That just showed he loves her in her every avatar. And thats pops up the question in my mind, now that Arnav would give her the attention to make her feel special, which he will as he wouldn't want to lose her again, would she feel its because of her changed appearance? And also whats the reason behind this appearance? And that butterfly tattoo? Yeah, see...Arnav has been in love with her since prom days..that's ages ago! even when she was a tomboy, he still loved her just the same...she could be dressed in a potato sack for all he cares...she'll still be beautiful to him...you know what they say...when you're in love, that person's imperfections seem perfect to you too.😉 the reasons behind her appearance change will come up soon and the butterfly tattoo question will be answered in the next update itself...😳
La's entry promises her to be fun. And does that unpleasnt someone mean Shanaya? And well jealousy track in Arhi love story is incomplete without NK, isn't it? Yeap, the unpleasant someone is Shanaya but rest assured, she will NOT make a come back...she will remain in Arnav's flashback and that's that...La will continue to irritate Arnav with her flirting though...😉 and NK is making Arnav jealous without even trying..now imagine if NK were to actually put in effort to make Arnav jealous...😛
Speaking of NK, his comfort level with Khushi, the gestures, it all reminds me of Arhi. So I can guess what Arnav must be feeling. And then other than Arnav only he is dressed in a white suit. I wonder what all he knows of Arhi and what has Khushi told him about Arnav. And that gesture, him placing Khushi's hand in Arnav's after taking Khushi's permission, I was thinking if that would apply in their life as well. NK and Khushi do share a good bond...think of Khushi as Voldemort for a second...when she left, she was hurt and she latched herself onto the only source of liveliness around her: NK. just like a piece of voldermort's shattered soul attached itself to the only living thing: harry. and Oh.My.God...did I just compare Arnav-Khushi to Voldemort-harry??? wow..just wow...I need sleep, like, Pronto!
The erratic beating of heart, the possessiveness, the intense staring, the warmth, the tremors, the confusion, the sparkling tension of chemistry everthing is back. But alongwith it is present the void, the awkwardness, and the ... what do I say, simple beauty of Arhiness between them that is missing. And I can't wait to read how you are going move them forward from here, to read the talk between them. And at the moment the dance between them. Khushi still has that effect on him...makes him feel like a teenage boy in love...after three years of having null communication, the awkwardness and void is bound to be there but it shall get better...Khushi being Khushi will remove the fog quicker than normal..😳
By meddling in between Arhi, breaking the communication, if 'Payanjali' (don't remember who named it, but I like it. Was it you?) thought they could apply "Out of sight out of mind", they couldn't have been more wrong. Coz clearly its the opposite here. Its a case of "Distance makes the heart grow fonder". Yeah, Payanjali was my creation..its easier to type! (I'm becoming lazier and lazier..lol) but yeah...that theory has failed with Arnav...he has held on tighter to any memory of Khushi to make sure 'though out of sight, never out of mind."😉
I guess I pretty much mentioned everything that I wanted to. Still I feel that I missed saying something. Maybe coz I just can't get enough.
