RECAP : Rey convinces VP sir to cancel the couple dance. He takes out his frustration in an empty class. Taani uses this as an opprtunity and leaves a message for Rey. Later Rey bumps into Taani and notices her eyes but doesn't think about it much.

CHAPTER 6
Salaam-E-Ishq
Taani collected her notes and left without giving a single glance towards Rey who stood there for a while mumbling something and then even Rey left for the canteen.
T : (to herself) I just hope Reyaansh ne mujhme aur Tanisha me koi similarity nahi dekhi ho. (opens her locker) Look wise to pata nahi chalega but... but jis tarah wo meri ankhon ko dekh raha tha aisa laga jaise usne koi connection bana lia ho. Kahin Reyaansh sahi to nahi tha ki mere aur uske bich koi connection hai?(shakes her head) IDIOT ! Khud to pagal ho hi gaya hai, saath me mujhe bhi pagal bana dega !!! Main bhi kya pagal jaisi baatein kar rahi hu? Reyaansh mera dushman hai... mere aur uske bich dushmani ke alawa aur koi connection ya rishta nahi ho sakta!!! (grins) AAJ KI SHAAM HAMARE IS RISHTEY KE NAAM...
Meanwhile in the canteen
R : (still thinking about Tanisha) Jab main Taani se takraya tab aise kyu laga jaise ki Tanisha mere samne hai? (frowning) OK ! Kafi complicated hai... (thinking deeply) Tan aur Tanisha dono NY se hai, same eyes, same feelings, same mask and dono dancer. (realizing something) TAANI BHI !!! WO BHI NY SE HAI, uski aankhein bhi waisi hi hai and maine fir wahi electricity feel ki thi... (closing his eyes and shaking his head in denial)... but wo mask nahi pehnti and sabse badi difference WO NON-DANCER HAI !!!
Takes out the piece of paper and reads it again.
R : Mere saarey sawalon ke jawab aaj sham ko hi milenge. I don't hate Tanisha par iska matlab ye bhi nahi ki main usse pyaar karta hu !!! Lekin kuch to hai hum dono ke bich... (again looks at the piece of paper) AAJ KI SHAAM HAMARE IS ANJAAN RISHTEY KE NAAM...

In a room full of pictures
Guy : (speaking to someone on phone) Saare intezaam achche se ho jane chahiye. Dhyan rakhna ... KITNI BAAR KEHNA PADEGA RED ROSES? Uske pasandeeda ful hain... Jitna kaha hai utna hi karo. Paise ki fikar mat karna bas yeh kaam ache se ho jana chahiye. (disconnects the call. Standing in front of one big pic of the girl and gives a big smile) Tumhe surprises bohot pasand hai na... thodi der aur wait karlo surprise ke liye...

In the evening Swayam has already left to pick up Sharon as they both had a date. Both Rey and Taani were getting ready to go to the pub.
R : (looking at his shirts) Kya pehnu? Kya pehnu? (takes out a white shirt) Naah.. Bohot formal hai (throws it on the bed) Pata nahi uski fav color kya hogi? (thinks about the face-off) BLACK! That's it ! (he hears the door bell) Kaka zara dekhiye na kaun hai !
Kaka opens the door but no one was there except a parcel. He picks up the parcel and gives it to Rey.
R : Parcel? No name, no address? Kahin Tanisha ne to nahi bheja? (hastily opens the parcel and finds a mask along with a note : "ITS MASQUERADE PARTY REYAANSH") Damn ! Matlab aaj bhi mask me rahegi !
REY'S MASK
REY'S OUTFIT
He puts on the mask and leaves for the pub. He enters the pub and notices that everyone was dancing to the groove. Only one girl was dancing standing on a table and all the boys were drooling over her. She was swaying her body gracefully making all the boys go crazy except for one - our Rey who was feeling jealous as well. In the background the song was coming to an end.
Muskaane jhooti hai...
Pehchanein jhooti hai...
Rangeeni hai chhayi...
Phir bhi hai tanhaayi...

Girl : Hey darling. You are 5 minutes late !
R : You know Tanisha we can talk after you get down the table !
TANISHA'S OUTFIT
T : So help me... (Rey lifts Tanisha holding her waist and puts her down) You know that song suited our situation.
R : I know. After all tumhari asli pehchan to mujhe nahi pata hai.
T : (gives a small laugh) Mask suits you but it suits me better. (goes to the bar) Wanna drink?
R : No... Not now.
T : I heard you want to know me...
R : Haan. Hum kabhi NY me mile hai kya?
T : (playing with her hair) May be or may be not...
R : (holds her tightly by her shoulders) Plz jawab do !!! Tumhare bare me soch soch ke pagal ho raha hu main...
T : (pushes him) Thats not a way to treat a lady !
R : I am sorry...
T : Chill... Come on lets have some drinks... (heads towards the bar with Rey following her) Two vodka shots.
R : Tanisha...
T : You can call me TAN.
R : OK. Tan I really... (before he could complete Taani makes him drink)
After a few more shots Rey holds Taani's hand and takes her to a corner in the pub.
R : (slightly drunk) Pata hai Tan I see you everywhere.
T : (she had not drunk even 1 shot. She had made Rey drink all) Seriously?
R : Haan. Mere ghar me, Meri gf... no no no no...meri ex-gf ke jagah me (laughs like a mad person) Infact maine to tumhare saath dance bhi kia... aur to aur... meri bff ki behen, Taani me bhi...
T : (raising her eye-brows) Hum baith ke bhi baatein kar sakte hai...
R : kar to sakte hai... but(in a drunk manner)... but pehle I want to touch you... aise (holds her waist) ... par...par main jab jab bhi chuta hun tum gayab ho jati ho (caresses her cheeks and smiles sheepishly) ...lekin abhi tum gayab nahi hui.
T : (bit uncomfortable) Reyaansh...
R : (immediately keeps his finger on Taani's lips) Rey... sirf Rey... (leaning towards Taani) ... tumhara Rey... (and slowly kisses her on the cheeks)
T : (angry but confused as well) REY !
R : (in a drunk husky tone) Tanisha... Tan... Taani... kitne similar hai na...
T : (immediately freezes and looks at Rey)
R : (still not in his sense) Tan... I like you... (his face inches away from Taani's) I think I love you... (brushing her lips with his)... I love you Tan... (kisses her on her lips passionately)
T : (was too shocked to react. She recovers only to find Rey's lips on her's. She pushes Rey and leaves from there. In her haste her mask gets untied and falls down which Rey picks up)

Taani returns home angry and confused.
T : What does he think himself to be? Aur main? Mujhe kya ho gaya tha? Why was it feeling like sab sahi hai jab ki sab galat hai ! Kyu wo mujhe affect karta hai? Why??? (takes a deep breath) Mujhe bhul jana chahiye ki wo mera pyaar tha. Mere dil me ab uske liye koi pyaar nahi hai... HAMARE BICH KABHI PYAAR KA RISHTA NAHI HO SAKTA REY... KABHI BHI NAHI !!! I HATE YOU REY... (tears escaping her eyes) I HATE YOU !!! (enters her room but stops mid way on hearing a song)
Raat akeli hai
bujh gaye diye (lights in her room start flickering)
aake mere paas kaano main mere (she tries to stop the sound by placing her hands on her ears)
Jo bhi chaahe kahiye...
At that very moment her phone beeps. She checks her inbox and her eyes go wide in shock.
She drops the phone in shock and realizes that she was not wearing her mask anymore. The lights stop flickering in her room and she notices a bouquet kept on her bed.
She was unable to believe the sight in front of her. When she again hears a song.

She found the recorder hidden in the bouquet. She picked up the bouquet and threw it outside her window.
T : Nahi... Ye nahi ho sakta... (shouts) YE NAHI HO SAKTA !!!!

Guy : Tumhe kya laga tha Taani? Main tumhe itni asani se jane de dunga...
PRECAP : Rey tries to contact Tanisha. Taani's another dreadful past.
