Chapter 27
NK:I can't believe Nani!
Arnav:What fun will it be without Khushi?
Akash:We have to suffer 2.5 weeks in Lucknow..stranded with our family
They each spoke out sitting in Arnav's room..but didn't hear what the other said..mainly spoke to themselves
They then looked at each other and burst out laughing..the 3 siblings spoke for sometime and then NK and Akash headed off to their respective rooms calling it a night
Next morning..RM..living room
Anjali who just got off a call:Nani I received some very good news
Nani who was sewing:Really so please tell
Anjali:Ruhi is now perfectly able to walk
Nani's eyes welled up and she smiled:That is really good news
Arnav who just came down for breakfast:What happened Nani?
Nani:Ruhi bitiya can walk perfectly now
Arnav smiled and exclaimed:Bhai must be so happy
Anjali:He phoned and told us just now that Ruhi can walk and he also said he will be shifting to India forever as his motive for going to London is over
Arnav:Finally Bhabhi and Bhai will be able to sleep at night
Nani:True Chote and they will also be here before we leave for Lucknow
Arnav saddened hearing Lucknow
They had breakfast and the 2 Raizada brothers and half Raizada left for college in their separate vehicles
Arnav and Khushi were on their way to college in Arnav's car when 'Teri Meri' started playing on the radio ,Arshi smiled at each other remembering the memories they made ..
They all reached college
Lawn..
Arnav flatly:Paris trip cancelled!
Girls:Why??
Akash:Because our family want to go to Lucknow this upcoming holiday
Khushi:That's not fair..what say if I talk to Nani in trying to cancel the trip
Arnav:You can't as the tickets have been booked
Kunal:I didn't even book our tickets for Paris as yet so tough luck
Khushi:Darn!
After that a week passed and the exams started Arshi,Virika,Lavshore,Shranal,Payash didn't have time for each other as they were studying very hard for their papers..
1.5 weeks passed with only studying and studying for exams and finally the holidays are here although they supposed to be happy they aren't as they will be apart..
Lucknow..
Arnav:Nani! I need to make a phone call I will come just now Akash and NK take the luggage
Arnav went to his favourite part of Sheesh Mahal,the garden..he went by the tree he and his mum planted and sat on the concrete like outline of the tree facing his back to the trunk and took out his phone and dialled a number and rested his elbows on his knees
Arnav:Hello,May I have the permission to speak to speak to this beautiful lady I know
Khushi:You may!
Arnav:Babe why is your voice sounding so like near as if you're around?
Khushi:Maybe you're daydreaming Jaan
Arnav:Oh come on! I know the difference between your voice when we speak from houses away and when we're near
Khushi smiled looking at her boyfriend:Well turn around
Arnav stood up and turned around stupefied to see his one and only life waving her phone with her left hand and leaning on the tree trunk smiling at him:H-how? Wait! *confused and speechless* Khushi just ran and jumped in his arms making Arnav take couple steps back and he lifted her by her waist,still his arms around her and twirled her saying 'I love you! I love you'
Khushi:I love you too! *cupping his cheeks*
And they both laughed
Arnav:How did you know we were here?
Khushi:Put me down first your back will break as almost my whole weight is on you
Arnav:Leave my back! Tell me how did you get here?
Khushi:Okay! My little stubborn baby! Nani phoned early that morning my dad and invited us to come here and show us around as a holiday at first I was sad as I won't spend time with you alone but then when you told us about it in college I got happy I just acted like I didn't know about it so that is why I said if I should talk to Nani but everything was done and here we are,in fact all the girls are here with their parents and siblings *she said it in one breath*
Arnav:Thank God! Sheesh Mahal has like 20 rooms
Khushi:Arnav! Put me down already
Arnav reluctantly put her down still holding her by her waist and her hands rested on his shoulders
Arnav:At least you're here by me *and kissed her,Awww*
They both went back to their family members who were seated in the hall,greeted everyone then passed them as Arnav lead Khushi to a certain room..
Room:
Just imagine that the pictures above the bed are Arnav's the 1st one has his baby pic..the 2nd when he is about 8 and the 3rd when he is a teenager
Khushi:Wow! This is so elegant
Arnav:Its my mum's designing..
Khushi:She did interior designing
Arnav:No but she had a fond of decorating a room to her liking and as per the choice of others and it just looks great after that so she designed my room as well as Di's and Bhai's room before we could be born that's why we have so many rooms because she experimented with her ID in each room
Khushi sat on the bed and laid her back against the headboard but the pillows are there to support her and patted the place next to her..Arnav came and laid his head on her lap and she could sense he was thinking about his mum and she caressed his hair making him close his eyes soon they both fell off to sleep in the same position but comfortably laying on the bed..but the door not locked..
After about 2.5 hours Anjali was wondering where is her Chote and Khushi as its been quite a while since they've been missing and its dinner time..she arrived at Arnav's room hoping to find him inside and saw the door not locked and slightly open and she was worried as to how Arnav is feeling after arriving at Sheesh Mahal a place which brings back painful memories
Anjali:Cho- stopped as she saw her brother and Khushi sleeping looking like angels
Arnav moved himself on Khushi towards her stomach and digging his face in it then laying on his torso and putting his arms around her waist and Khushi sleeping with her back against some pillows against the headboard and her left hand around Arnav's back and her right palm in his hair..they both didn't know that they were being watched
Anjali smiled seeing them and quietly called for Nani..Nani saw their position and breathed a sigh of relief seeing the relaxation on Arnav's face and humble ness on Khushi's face
Nani whispered:They look so perfect together
Anjali giggled silently:True they do Nani! Kisi ki nazar na lage in dono par
The Grandmother and Granddaughter walked away closing the door..
Soon Arnav stirred in his sleep and then opened his eyes..he turned his head and saw his beautiful angel sleeping ..he saw their position and lifted his body and made Khushi to lay properly on the bed but that movement made her wake up
Khushi sleepy voice felt her lap but didn't feel anyone's head:Arnav?
Arnav huskily:I'm here Khushi
Khushi looked up to see those chocolate orbs staring at her with love,passion and wait for it,wait for it ...and more love..Khushi smiled at him
Arnav:Come on get fresh..your luggage is here
Khushi had a shower and changed and soon so did Arnav..they went down to see everyone talking
Mami scowled:Came the lovebirds after having no manners in spending time with the family and friends
Arnav rolled his eyes..
They went to the kitchen to eat their dinner
Arnav realised:Khushi where's Aloo?
Khushi smiled:He is in the pet room away from all the horses in a quiet corner just to his liking
Arnav:Phew! I thought he was alone at home ruining the house
Khushi:He was quite disheartened to be left alone
(A/N:In my story Sheesh Mahal has a pet room and also a special yard for them to do horse riding)
Arnav:Shame
Khushi:Arnavv! How can you be so rude and say like that to my Aloo
Arnav:Ok I'm sorry
They had their dinner quickly as they heard the family is about to play dumb charades
Dumb charades started..but the lights got switched off
Boys and Girls:Ohh Come onn!
Mami:It always happens at this time
Then everyone realised it was 11pm in the night
Nani:I guess we can continue tomorrow..let's rest its been a long day
