In Arnav's car
Arnav:Why were you telling one of your friends to don't stress? *confused*
Khush:Oh that..! My friends think that you are like the rest of the guys I dated as you know they are very protective of my because I'm the smallest and I was friendly with a boy so quickly when I just arrived at this college
Arnav:What do you mean by "rest of the guys"?
Khush:You know like how some boys only go out with girls or befriend them for their money and stuff but you are not like them right? If you are I will be extremely professional with you because I hate people who are like that
Arnav:Don't worry! I'm just as rich as you and my car explains everything..those guys are jerks but I see a good friend in you and if they dated you for your money and not for who you are is their loss like they say "One man's loss is another man's gain"
Khush:Yeah..speaking about your car..how did you get it so quickly its not even released in India but in London?
Arnav:My bigger brother stays in London so he bought it for me as a birthday gift
Khush:Wow! What's his name? My dad might know him
Arnav:Dhruv Singh Raizada
Khush:No way! Dhruv Bhai is your brother..so which means ..wait..wait ..Raizada! OMG!! Which means Raizada Fashions is owned by you?
Arnav:Bhai owns it..and as soon as I finish my studies I'm gonna join the business in London and then once I get used to what happens then I will open AR FH as I told you

Khush:Well..when I used to go to my Dad's office everyday,one day I met him there and got introduced to him and found another brother in him so that's why I call him Dhruv Bhai and we share very close bond

Arnav notices what she is doing and realised that his Nani won't like if she wore those kinds of jeans as he can't even wear it in the house asks her:Err..Khush..

Khush:Why?
Arnav:You need to change your jeans as my Nani will kill me if she sees you wearing those jeans

Arnav:You don't want to know..if I'm telling you its for your best as I'm not even allowed to wear jeans like that

Khush:Ahhh!! It looks like my Buaji and your Nani will be best friends..anyway since we're on the road I live from this house 3 houses further is mine

Arnav drove through GM's driveway and stopped the car while Khushi got off (Note:Khushi's parents are still in London but there is a caretaker looking after the siblings and GM)

Khushi and Arnav entered Khushi's Mansion to be precise "Wow its almost as big as RM" thought Arnav "Beautifully decorated,just like her" thought Arnav again and he didn't even realise when Khushi went from his side as he was looking at the wall with collages of her family and one collage has every stage of Khushi which made him smile and chuckle seeing her childhood antics...soon he couldn't see the photos as a petite frame came like a lightning bolt and covered his view

Khush embarrassed that he saw her baby photos :Let's go..I'm ready
Arnav looked at her from top to bottom and vice versa..."Nude pumps,black leggings and a pink top with a white cardigan..not bad Gupta"

Arnav and Khushi headed to RM from GM which is a couple minutes away from it
Arnav:You looked to adorable when you were a baby,with the chocolate spread around your mouth *chuckles*
Khush blushes:T..th..Thanks and why were you looking at my photos ??
Arnav:I don't know..I felt like
Khushi pouted but soon smiled
Soon they were at RM driveway and waited till the gates opened but nothing happened which made Arnav fume as far as he knows his guards know his car
Arnav:What The..why aren't they opening the gates...I just hope they haven't forgotten what my car looks like *Arnav phones the landline and his Mami answers in her style,Arnav has the phone on loudspeaker as he is trying to find the guard*

Arnav:Hello
Manorama:Arnav...what happened? So early you phoned? Did something happen?
Arnav rolled his eyes at his Mami's ways of speaking and looked at Khushi who is trying to hold her laughter at they way Manorama is speaking
Arnav:Mami..please tell someone to open the gate I'm at the driveway or open it from the inside
Manorama:Hello Hi Bye Bye! Arnav I think the guard went some work
Arnav:Dammit!! Okay leave that please open the gate
Manorama:Okay I will just open it
Phone call end
And soon the gate opened and Khushi burst out laughing holding her stomach : Arnav why does your Mami speak like that? Said Khushi between her fits of laughter
Arnav:Don't ask she likes to speak English but she can't *chuckles at thinking how his Mami likes to be like the Angrezwa(the English people/White people)
Arnav parked the car and both got off carrying their necessary requirements for their assignments and went to the door of RM and Arnav rang the bell but no one answered,he pressed the button again but no one answered and while waiting Khushi looked around and saw the plants and more greenery and the richness of the architecture,Arnav got annoyed waiting so he decided to open the door himself "its so weird I just spoke to Mami then how come no one is opening the door" thought Arnav as he walked in leaving a dazed Khushi outside and he realised that she is not following me so he went back and chuckled looking at a dazed Khushi not knowing someone was watching him thinking "He came in but went back and who is he talking to"
Arnav cleared his throat:Khush!
Khush:Huh??
Arnav:What happened? You look like you zoned out for a while
Khush:Oh I was thinking about something..by the way..I love your house
Arnav smiled:Thanks come in! *and held her hand but she didn't notice*
Khushi followed him in and she took in the castle like home although she is used to having stuff like what's in RM in her home but this is much more extraordinary and thought that there are plant lovers in this home and also noticed that there is hardly anyone around :Arnav how come no one is around?
Arnav:I don't know myself where's everyone? But maybe they busy with their own thing *shrugged his shoulders and continued walking to his room with Khushi behind*
They entered his room not knowing the small pair of eyes watching them and their entwined hands with annoyed hands and followed them with their small feet up the stairs towards Arnav's room ready to tell him that he can only hold his/her hand and not anyone else
Khush:Wow!! Hey I have the same recliner..haha! But its in purple
Arnav:We have a lot of things in common what a coincidence and I find it kind of weird..make yourself comfortable
Khush:Exactly! Anyway let's get to work if we get started maybe in 2-3 weeks time we will be finished with the 15 unique designs that are required and then..*sits on his bed with her legs crossed*
Arnav:Then we can start designing them and then we can start with our BS report because first for the designs we need our colours,all the materials but the materials from where
Khush:Idea! Once we figure out what kind of dresses or outfits that we are gonna create,My Dad can send some materials by courier and maybe you can ask Dhruv Bhai if he can get some for you
Arnav:Hmm..never thought about it maybe I can Skype with him now if he is online lemme check *and goes for his laptop but can't find it* this is weird I kept my laptop here this morning where is it? Only my iPad is here...the opened and walked in his laptop and the person he adores..his baby...a 4 year old Avni Shaleen Bhanot..the person who he spoils and spends most of his time with
Avni looked towards Khushi with a disgusted look to which Khushi gasped and Arnav chuckled
Arnav:Avni my baby why did you take my laptop *crouched down in front of her*
Avni:Mamuu!! Errr..Mumma was using it for something
Arnav:Avni Di won't use it for something and she would've asked me for it ...I'm sure you took it isn't *and tickles her to which he laughed*
Avni:M..ma..mamu..mamuu!! Stoppp!!! *between her laughter*ok you caught me I took it because I wanted to play angry birds I'm on level 6
Arnav:Avni sweetheart why did you look at Khushi like that *turned towards Khushi who was a silent spectator of this lovely scene unfolding in front of her*
Avni:I don't like her..because she is stealing my Mamu away from me...why you held her hand you are only allowed to hold my hand and not any other girls hand understand! Mr Raizada!
Arnav salutes her in a child like way:Yes your highness but she is my friend and she is here to do an assignment with me and you will also befriend her and like her

Avni:Fine then *walks to Khushi and sits on the bed in front of her*
Avni:Hi I'm Avni Shaleen Bhanot and you are? *puts her hand forward*
Khushi takes her hand shocked at how such a small girl can be so cute and there's actually no word to describe her:Hi Avni I'm Khushi Gupta..would you like to be my friend?
Avni:Sure! Nice to meet you Khushi Di
Khushi smiles at being called Di:Same here
Avni warmed up to Khushi much to Arnav's dislike as Avni is sitting on Khushi's lap but he wished he was Avni and he felt alone sitting on the recliner away from them so he decided to go sit on the bed and the both of them started on their assignment with Khushi holding Avni tight in her arms so she doesn't fall and Avni enjoying her time with her new friend and her Mamu sitting next to them
Arnav:Khush I think we should make 7 western and 7 eastern and the last one will be a bridal dress that looks like a western and eastern outfit what do you think..and by doing that we gain more marks
Khush:Yeah it could work..ok so we decided what we gonna create but all we need to do is design them but make it unique and like no one has seen before but also comfortable for the people to wear..why don't we make matching outfits like for our 1st western dress we have something for the male to match the dress
Arnav:Hmm yeah that will work and we will get more marks and its due 3 months from now so we have enough time but we should also alternate the work so we should rather start the designs for the western outfits and leave it aside as it will be easy to create and the materials will be easy to get and start with the eastern because the eastern outfits will have more work and embroidery also it will be heavy,some simple and light but it has the look of richness in it..you get what I'm saying
Khush:Definite it would be awesome!! And I heard from someone that it would go for our term mark and our exams will be tested on our work
Arnav:Great..so I will do the eastern and you western and then we will work together for the last one
Avni:Mamu and Di??
Khush+Arnav:Yes sweetheart
Avni:What are you saying I don't understand anything except for the word eastern and western?
Khushi and Arnav chuckle at her innocent question,Khushi picks Avni up and makes her sit sideways on her lap so they both facing Arnav:Avni dear..when you grow up and become a big girl like me and you go to school..you get assignments like homework but now you are going to play school so at play school what do you do?
Avni:We colour and play with our toys and learn things and sometimes our teacher says when we go home we must do some maths sums and colour a picture
Khush:See just like that..but our homework is different we get marks for it like points and that will make us pass and go to a different level like how you will finish play school and go to Grade 1 and from there the teachers give you tests that they mark and at the end of every 3 months you get a report on your behaviour...like that we got homework but this is something much more different and hard so we have to work hard..so we become a big person one day
Avni:Ohhh!! So its like how Salman Khan and Shahid Kapoor are?
Khushi laughs:Yes sweetheart but they are actors and it may seem easy for them but they also went to school like us normal people and then by going to school and learning they became big stars
Avni:Oohh!! Di so if I go to school everyday and be a good girl I will become a star
Khush:Don't you go to school everyday? And if you don't go then...haww..how would you become a star
Avni:No I hate school but I also want to become a star..and earn money like Daddy
Khush:Then you have to go to school,be at your best behaviour and not to forget drink your milk when your Mumma gives it to you okay so you become a strong girl because I'm sure you don't like to drink milk isn't! *not knowing the two pairs of admiring eyes watching their conversation and how Khushi explained to Avni like they are really Mother and Daughter and also shocked at how Avni listened quietly to her*
Avni:*giggles*Yes I don't,from now onwards I will drink my milk everyday to be a strong girl...I promise and will go to school and become a star or maybe someone like my Daddy *kisses Khushi's cheek*
Khushi smiles and kisses her back:Now that's like a good girl
Outside of Arnav's room stood Anjali who was searching for her daughter around the whole house witnessed this unknown girl and her daughter talking about school and how the girl explained so lovingly to Avni and her daughter listened and asked questions and also promised to drink her milk everyday,with teary eyes and also saw her Chote being a silent spectator to this with admiring eyes,she soon got noticed by Avni
Avni:Mumma,come see my new friend *she got off the bed and walked towards her mother and pulled her inside the room*
Khushi and Arnav got off the bed and came and stood in front of Anjali who was wiping her tears
Avni:Mumma this is Khushi Di,Mamu's friend
Khushi:Namaste
Anjali:Namaste Khushi I'm Anjali,*and turned to Arnav* Chote why didn't you phone and tell me you were bringing a guest home and did you offer something to eat or drink...oh God..how long has it been that you came home,Chote what kind of host are you...don't you know how to treat a guest and this is the first time you brought a girl home...I can't believe you actually brought a girl home...*she turned towards Khushi* I'm so sorry Khushi...would you like to have something to eat or drink...?
Khushi couldn't help but chuckle at an amused Arnav and annoyed Anjali but admired her..
Arnav:Di! Di! Calm down...we just arrived about half an hour ago and then we started talking about our assignment then Avni came...and why don't you publish it in the newspapers declaring "Arnav Singh Raizada let a girl in his room other than his beloved Di and his sweetheart niece Avni"
Khushi:Don't worry Anjaliji..I'm perfectly fine and I would have rather started on our assignment that worry about snacks..but thanks for the offer...and yes Anjaliji your Chote is a bad host *winked at him*
Anjali:Call me Di! And why did Avni come here? She was in the kitchen with me playing Angry birds on your laptop
Arnav:How did she get my laptop in the first place?
Anjali:She told me that you gave he permission before going down for breakfast *and looked at Avni who had a look of being caught red-hand*
Avni:Well..well..I..I came through the poolside door..sorry Mamu for taking your laptop without you known *holds her ears and pouts*
Arnav:*picks Avni up*Sweetheart! Its ok but next time ask me first as you know Mamu does all his work on the laptop and if you delete any of it ..then all my hard work will go down the drain
Avni:I will be careful..promise
Anjali:By the way Chote...how come you brought your friend home and you didn't even tell us about it before hand
Arnav:Actually Di no one was around when I came so I decided to come here so we could finish our assignments and you know the rest
Anjali:Okay so you two carry on while I get some snacks *takes Avni with her*

Khush:Chote?? From which angle do you look "Chote" *laughs* buts its a nice nickname
Arnav:My Mumma used to call me that when I was small and so did Di *lost look on his face*

Arnav:She left us *eyes are bloodshot because of un shed tears*
Khushi hugs him:I'm sorry but I'm sure that she is watching you and happy to know that you are leading a good life

Khush:Arnav you know..I was so close to my Dadi and when she died I started to believe that when people die they become stars so whenever I feel like speaking to her I look at the stars maybe your Mumma might be one of them
Arnav:Hmm...let's get back to work

They sat on Arnav's bed and started on their given work with Arnav designing and Khushi listing the required quantity of materials and bead work or embroidery eg.diamonds,crystals,sequins etc,for each creation.Soon Anjali brought some snacks for them to eat as they work and so they did...Anjali was shocked at the condition of Arnav's room...the ever so clean and tidy room looked like a tornado hit it with Arnav on the floor with papers and colour pens surronding him and Khushi with a messy bun and pens behind her ear,in her hair,one in her hand that she is sketching with one a page and one in her mouth and she is alternating and they we soon brought out of their "busy ness" with a gasp and exclamation "Oh God ,what happened in here" Arnav and Khushi looked up at Anjali and looked at each other and they condition of the room and gave a weak smile to Anjali
Anjali:Ok never mind..you carry on *she left*
Khush:Arnav..I'm done with the western designs how about you *putting her designs together in the western file*
Arnav:Same here..so which means we just need the materials for all the creations *put the designs in the eastern file* now we need to work on the eastern-western outfit
Khush:Perfect! Is Dhruv Bhai online?
Arnav:Oh Crap! I never check...hmm..let me see now *looking at his laptop* he is online *goes and sits next to Khushi on the bed*

Arnav laughs at her expression and thinks "adorable but crazy" suddenly Khushi got a call as she was busy with her work she didn't see the caller id so she just put it on loudspeaker and answered a "hello" in a not interested way,since Arnav was busy with his own BS report he got startled at the person's voice and her way of speaking and looked up from his book towards his left where Khushi is

Khushi nearly fall of the bed to which Arnav laughed out loud*:Hi Buaji! I'm fine and why did you phone?
Buaji:Sankadevi who are you with? Who is laughing? And you will tell me why I can't phone?
Khushi:Nothing Buaji its just my friend...and how can I dare to tell The Great Buaji when to phone her niece *giggles*

Khushi got up from the bed and ran out the room with an Arnav screaming her name to stop but she continued running down the stairs while the whole family is there and they got shocked to see their Arnav bitwa/Chote/Arnav except Anjali and Avni running after a girl who is saying sorry around the whole house,he soon caught her by her waist and pulled her towards him and lifted her to which her legs picked up and her eyes closed and made a mark on her perfect milky skinned face and said :Hah! *notices the pen* oh shit!
Khush:No you didn't (note:they reached the dining room and they are visible by the whole family)...[The pen that Arnav used his very hard to come out] Arnav I'm gonna kill you *Arnav ran from her clutches but got stopped by a voice*
Nani shouted:Chote
Since Khushi was running with a force she hit Arnav's toned back and hurt her forehead but pulled back when she heard someone call Arnav
Nani angry:What is all this Chote!? *everyone came and stood in front of the two*
Arnav:Err..vohh...Nani...this is Khushi..Khushi this is my Nani,Mami and Jijaji
Khushi bends to take blessings from Nani and puts her hands together:Namaste Naniji and greeted everyone else
Mami:Hello Hi Bye Bye!
Shaleen:Hi Khushi
Nani blesses her:God bless you! *smiled and started taking a liking towards Khushi* "she is modern from the outside but traditional from the inside" thought Nani
Khushi smiled back:Naniji..actually Arnav and I had an assignment to do together and then we got busy..sorry if we offended you by not greeting you first then did our assignments,so don't be angry on Arnav
Everyone was amused at Khushi especially Arnav and Nani as how easily she defended Arnav
Nani:Its ok Khushi betiya...but I'm just shocked at what I saw a few minutes back ..how long has it been that you came
Anjali:Nani last I saw them was 6 hours back
Arshi shocked:6 hours
Khushi checked her watch:Hey Devi Maiyya! I'm late and I'm dead
Arnav:What happened?
Khushi:I was supposed to pick my family up from the airport and didn't realise the time while doing our assignments and there's so much more to do
Nani:That's ok betiya..you're always welcomed again...but yes do come tomorrow

Arnav:Okay let's get your stuff and then I will drop you *taking his keys out of his pocket*
Arnav and Khushi went to get Khushi's things and sorted out what needs to be done next and then headed downstairs

Arnav comes back from leaving Khushi and is walking to his room but stopped at hearing his Mami's remark about Khushi

Firstly she has a name use it and she has proper manners,secondly she is traditional yet modern,thirdly she wears those kinds of clothes because she is a simple girl although she has all the money,lastly she is the daughter of one of the world's business tycoons..I hope you understand now *and he walked to his room leaving a shocked family*

Khushi:Where did I leave it? Its not here ...just then she heard the door bell ring and she went to attend to it but found her mother opening it and she saw Arnav..."Oh no! What is Arnav doing here,hey wait that looks like my phone...Damn she doesn't even know who he is as I haven't told her that I was with a boy and after the earful I got for not picking them up she will kill me"
Garima:Khushi here's your phone! Arnav is a nice boy thank god he isn't like the ones you dated *walked away*
Khushi:Wow! *went to her room while looking at her phone and didn't notice her brother staring at her*
Karan went to her room and asked her:Angel? Who was that guy?
Khushi absent-minded:Arnav why?
Karan:Nothing just wanted to know how HE had your phone when Payal said that you were at La's house *sarcastic*
Now this caught Khushi's attention "Yeah Pay Di must've said that because Kari Bhai is so protective of me that he would kill me if I was with a boy on the first day of college" :Kari Bhai...uh..t...t-that was a friend

After couple minutes as it is almost time for the students to start coming and so they did

Arnav said to Khushi who was fixing the drapes on the pillar:Khush! Lights are put and some of the decorations on the east wing of the hall is set and the west wing is also done last we need to do the table settings *going through a To-Do list*
Khush:Hmm! Ye...ah *going on her toes as she can't reach the top properly hardly paying attention to Arnav* Dammit! Why can't I reach the top of this stupid pillar (note:she is wearing stilettos and standing on a ladder)
Arnav looked up to see her struggling:Khush! Wait let me come up..*climbs the other side of the ladder and reached the top and stood in front of Khushi..* you know what?
Khush:What?
Arnav:Although you are standing on a ladder and wearing high stilettos you still have to go on your toes to reach the top ain't that weird *holding her waist with one hand and hoists her up against his body while the other went up to her hand on the top of the pillar putting the drape in place,looking into her eyes* there!
Khush:Huh? *lost in his eyes*
Arnav:Its done..the drape
Khush:*looks up*hey yeah it is ...just then Akash walked in startling the two:Bhai...next thing which was heard was a thud ...Arnav and Khushi got startled with Akash's voice that they both fell on the drapes that hardly made a soft cushioning to their fall i.e position of Arshi..Arnav on the floor and Khushi on top of him and his hands around her waist and both their eyes closed one in fear and the other in pain...Khushi go off Arnav sitting on the floor while Arnav laid there cursing Akash:Akash!!! I'm gonna kill you *sitting up*
Akash:Sorry Bhai! How am I supposed to know what you were up to on the ladder
Arnav:Well knock before you enter any room irrespective if there is anyone there or not and if there is someone there...wait till you hear a come in..*making Khushi blush and Arnav smirk at her condition*
Arnav got up and helped Khushi up
Arnav:What do you want Akash?
Akash:Well Bhai I came to call you as Mrs Sinha is calling the both of you to her class...sorry again for walking in you two *walked away making sure to tell the rest of the gang about it*
Arnav:Well...what a way to ruin a moment
Khushi giggled
They both walk to Mrs.Sinha's class while Akash tells his gang what he saw but little did Arshi know that Akash saw everything from the beginning and interrupted them on purpose
Mrs.Sinha's class
Arnav knocked on the door with Khushi by his side:Ma'am may we come in
Mrs.Sinha:Yes you may! How are the decorations in the auditorium hall going?
Khushi:Its going well Ma'am we just need to put the posters and the rest of the drapes up *her voice caught the attention of a boy who immediately looked up*
Mrs.Sinha:Well that's great! And how is your designing assignment going ? All good? No difficulties working together?
Arshi:No Ma'am its going good
Mrs.Sinha is Arshi's fashion designing professor and she is also part of the school's event committee and she also teaches Khushi's brother,Karan,little did Mrs.Sinha know that they were brother-sister and were in the same class at the moment.Khushi's eyes went around the class and she spotted her brother giving her glares which meant "what is this? Why did you lie yesterday?" from his place and she was shocked,eyes wide open and she gulped and turned to Arnav and Mrs.Sinha
Khushi:Ma'am! Is there anything else to do? *stammering*
Mrs.Sinha:Yes your assignments *jokingly*
Khushi:Okay Ma'am we will leave then..
Khushi literally pulls Arnav by his hand and he is confused at Khushi's behaviour but their walk got stopped by a voice to which Khushi closed her eyes and started muttering something to God
Karan stands up:Wait Angel *everyone looked at him wandering who he is calling Angel* (Note:Karan stayed in India only Khushi and Payal went to London and he used to go there for his holidays and that's how he fell in love with Krithika)
Khushi and Arnav turned back,Khushi still holding Arnav's hand unknowingly she never left it,Karan came in front of them and crossed his arms on his chest with a raised eyebrow.
Karan:So that's why you lied,you were with him yesterday isn't Angel *pointing to Arnav making him angry as to how dare this guy call Khushi. And he was about to say something but stopped at Khushi's sentence*
Khushi:Urhhmm..Kari Bhai...sorry I lied but I know you will get angry as to why I'm with a boy on the first day of college irrespective of the fact that I just came from London *baby face and holds her ears and Arnav heaved a sigh of relief that Karan is her brother and nothing else either than a brother-sister relationship*
Karan:You better be Angel !
Mrs.Sinha:Karan you two are brother and sister?
Karan:Yes Ma'am
Karan turns to Arnav puts his hand forward:Hi! I'm Karan Gupta
Arnav who can't take his hand away from Khushi's vice hold so he looks down to his hand and so did Karan:Khush! Leave my hand
Khushi who didn't know that still she was holding his hand:Huh? *looks down* Oh sorry! *leaves his hand*
Arnav shakes his hand:Hi I'm Arnav Singh Raizada
Karan:Nice to meet you Arnav
Arnav:Same here Karan,if I can call you that?
Karan smiles:Sure
Khushi:Arnav we better get going
Arnav:Sure
With that they both walked to the auditorium hall...
Khushi:Phew! That was a close one!
Arnav chuckled:Why did you look so scared in front of you brother and thank you for nearly breaking my hand *with a tone of gratitude*
Khushi giggled:I'm sorry for nearly breaking your hand but the thing is that my brother is really protective of me so he would've killed me if he found out I was with you and that's why he asked me who you were when you came to drop of my phone yesterday
Arnav:Well there's one thing that I know
Khushi:Is what??
Arnav:Is that you are definitely not an Angel from any angle,you are mostly like a devil in disguise of an Angel that Karan calls you *runs from her* *mischevious tone and that naughty smirk*
Khushi:How can you say that and with that runs after him in the whole college (note:college has started and all the students have come and they all are witnessing this scene)
Arnav and Khushi were running around the college with Arnav turning back all the time saying "Sorry" to Khushi while she keeps on saying "I don't care",everyone is wondering what happened to these two and they passed their friends who gave theme confused and shocked looks and Arnav's friends were shocked to hear Arnav saying "Sorry" so many times and that to,to a girl...Soon they came to the auditorium hall and completed the remaining decorations and thought to catch up with their friends...
