Today,Everyday,Forever
Today, you proved that you are the undisputed queen of descriptions. From the description of Anjali's bridal look to Anya, Khushi and Payal's attires, to the description of the seating arrangement, the flowers and how the mandap looked, I felt like I had just attended the wedding of a close family friend. Could smell the flowers, sandalwood paste and henna and hear the fire crackling merrily in the pyre.
Then I came to this and my heart broke.
I'm feeling so fuming mad!
"Like I said, I have better things to do. So, take this as your last warning. STAY AWAY FROM MY SON. I let everyone think that I'm unaware of the time you were spending with my son. I let you sneak around with him. I only did that because I didn't want to hurt Anju and Anu. Now it's time for you to stop enticing my son away from me. You cannot and will not take away my son from me. I don't expect you to understand a mother-son relationship. How will an orphan understand the significance of family ties?" Manorama paused to take a deep breath.
Gosh, she is a b**** of the highest order!!! Poor Payal!
Aman and Anya are so cute and their relationship seems to be the least complicated of the three. Love reading their verbal bantering, they're already like an old married couple..:D
Coming to Arnav and Khushi, I found one particular thought of Khushi really poignant..."My instinct tells me he loves me".
This 'instinct' is often the root cause of many a heartbreaks in real life :(
Loved the way you ended the chapter..
"It's a mistake to look too far ahead. The chain of destiny can only be grasped one link at a time.
"C'est dur mais c'est la vie."
Yes, life can be tough and at times, it can be just like Manorama of your story.
A b*****
