Geet was a bit reluctance and she was thinking abt herself.She wanted to break all the memories which is related to him but here her best friend is giving new responsibilities to take care.

Geet said firmly,"Am sorry i cant do this!"

Annie looked at her eyes and said,"I know the reason of ur refuse.I know u r affected becoz of his demeanor.But Geet please for mom's sake will u keep an eye on Maan?"

Geet was trapped here and she cant even refuse her friend.She's her best friend.How can she refuse her.Geet got up and stood near the window and some tears spilled from her almond eyes which she wiped immediately when she felt Annie beside her.

Annie pleaded,"Please Geet,for mom's sake!"

Geet meekly nodded and Annie was so happy that she hugged her tight.Geet was in the situation where she neither express her feelings to Maan nor deny Annie.Geet was thinking abt the future when she keeps an eye on Maan.

PART 18

PRESENT

At midnight,Maan got up due to headache and leaned on the bed rest feeling restless.He looked towards his right side where Geet and Bhoomi were sleeping peacefully.He softly pecked Geet's forehead and Bhoomi's too and sighed.His mind was full of thoughts and those were venomous for now as it was giving horrific scenes of the farm house where he slept naked and was in the verge of losing his virtue to Antara.His heart felt peace when he hugged Geet tightly in hospital but his soul was warring with him.As if he was stained and dirty due to Antara's touches and this thought made him restless and he dint get any sleep further and sat in darkness closing his eyes.After sometime he felt tiny hands on his forehead and opened his eyes to get Mariah who was gently pressing his forehead.Maan was touched seeing her gesture and immediately lifted her in his arms and kissed her forehead lovingly.Mariah kissed the wound and snuggled to his chest.

Maan whispered in her ears,"U dint get any sleep Butterscotch!"

Mariah nodded no to him and more snuggled to his chest.When she heard that her dada is missing and crying Bhoomi,she was scared.When she got to know he was in hospital then she was also stubborn to go with Geet and Bhoomi but Geet made her stay in the home only so she had to stay with her grandpa and grandma.But when she saw her father wound then she was in verge of crying and when once again she was made to sleep in her grandparents room then she dint get any sleep and came to check on her father.But seeing her father aching in pain she cant able to see him like that so she came to him.True that children feel their parents pain and come forward to soothe it.

Mariah spoke in her half language,"Da!...Head!...Pain!"

Maan spoke,"Yes sweety,my head is paining!"

Mariah cutely raised from his lap and gently started to press his forehead.Maan was amazed and was grateful as she was soothing his pain.He lowered and made her lie beside Bhoomi but she was still gently pressing his forehead and he went to sleep after sometime as it was so soothing.Next morning Geet got up at her usual time and felt a soft palm moving on her curves.Geet smiled and got up and made Bhoomi sleep on her lap and stuffed her nipple inside her mouth immediately.Bhoomi cutely took her feed and she stared at her lovingly.After sometime she felt someone other than they three in the room and looked up to get both father daughter were cuddled up in each other's embrace.Geet was shocked to see Mariah as she had herself made sleep in mom and dad's room.On that time there was a knock and when Geet said to come in the door revealed Soumya who entered and immediately looked towards Mariah who was cuddled inside Maan's chest.

Soumya spoke,"So here she's!"

On that time Siddharth entered and was amazed to see Mariah sleeping inside Maan's chest.

Soumya said to Geet who was confused with their remark,"I was worried where Mariah is,this morning when i saw our side empty.We were searching in whole mansion but she was sleeping here inside his father's chest!"

Geet giggled thinking how mischievous Mariah had become.Soumya and Siddharth went away leaving her family while Geet admired the father and daughter who were cuddled up in each other's warmth.After Bhoomi was fed Geet burped her and made her sleep inside the cradle and cuddled up herself beside Maan and Mariah who was sound sleep.Geet looked at his feature which were troubled.His face were wrinkled and she thought he must have got up due to headache and immediately softly pressed his forehead and he moaned in pain in his sleep.Geet was worried and she saw his side table where the pain killer was sitting like that where she left it for Maan beside the glass of milk which was not empty too.Geet glared at him angrily as he dint had any pain killers with milk.

But his pain made her heart melt and gently pressed his forehead and he spoke in his sleep,"Thanks Butterscotch!"

Geet was shocked hearing Mariah's pet name and then she got know the picture that why Mariah had came here.Geet admired Mariah immediately but pecked both foreheads and walked away to have shower.But on that time Maan stirred in his sleep and wiped out the drowsiness from his eyes and saw Geet entering washroom and followed her tucking Mariah inside the blanket.

When Geet was abt to close the door then he held it and she was shocked and asked,"U were awake?U were sleeping soundly!"

Maan immediately entered inside the washroom and bolted the door and hugged her so tightly that air was not having any place.

Geet said worriedly as he moved his hands on her soft body frantically,"Maan!"

Maan dint speak and took her petal lips and started kissing passionately.She moaned in that kiss as she felt his hands cupping her breasts and squeezing tightly.

Maan said softly,"Right mishty,but i dont know...but when i got up in midnight cant able to sleep and my head was paining like hell then Mariah pressed her small hands on my head and soothed me.I dont even remember when i went sleep holding her!"

Geet asked angrily folding her hand across her breasts,"And who said u to not to take pain killer and Milk last night?"

Maan pouted and said,"I hate Milk!"

Geet said sternly,"I know,tell me something new!But this tablet was taken with Milk only...so i gave u Milk but what u did dint drank it and slept and at midnight got up due to pain!"

Maan pouted looking at Geet's stern glare.Geet melted instantly and sat beside him and took his lips closing Mariah's eyes.Maan was shocked and looked towards Mariah as her eyes were closed by her palm.He groaned and tasted every bit of her mouth eagerly.

When she left then both were breathless and she let Mariah walk out of the room and asked,"Now Maan,tell me yesterday what happened?"

Maan took a deep breath and told everything which went on in farm house and that accident and immediately earned an tight hug from Geet.He hold her like his life depends and it was true that his life depends on her only...on her and his family.

Geet made him sit on the bed and pecked his wound and made him sleep on her lap and said,"Now go to sleep...dont go anywhere today!I will bring u breakfast here only!"

Maan asked curiously,"U arent angry with me jaan?"

Geet asked looking at him intently,"Why i need to be angry on u jaan?"

Maan stammered,"Woh!...Antara!"

But immediately earned an passionate kiss to his rough lips making it more swollen.She kissed with all her might and devoured his mouth with immense love.Maan immediately felt it and cocooned her inside his chest kissing her back.

Both broke apart when they were breathless and she spoke,"U no need to feel guilty!Problems comes in our life jaan becoz we r humans.U know what yesterday's incident made me trust more on my husband.I trust u Maan and i know u were only victim of Antara.Now dont think abt it and sleep,u need rest jaan!"

She once again pecked on his wound and made him lie on the bed.

Maan gave a small but genuine smile and closed his eyes.Geet went to bring the breakfast tray for him.Geet had decided something to do and she was very much determined of it as she was the half percent share holder of KC.Geet made Maan to have breakfast and made him sleep giving pain killers which he took making all kind of faces with Milk when she glared at him and threatened him to stuff it inside his mouth.

Past

Geet sat in her flat thinking abt her life.What is going on in her life and whatever she thought wasnt going on.She thought she gonna forget Maan.But that was next to impossible.She thought she gonna face him and then face the pain and then only she gonna forget him but that went vain.Geet looked up towards the picture which she had gifted its twin to Maan in his congratulations party.Tears poured down from her almond eyes.She wasnt some kind of puppet where he pulls the string to entertain himself.How he had left her next morning telling that he never thought abt her like that.Pain..that was feeling now and it was never ending.She slipped on the ground seeing towards the picture and sat snaking her arms around her knees.She dint wanted anything from him but love and he refused and claimed tht he's nt capable.If it was like that then why he met her.Just to say no...just to say tht i dont remember u...just to tease me by saying my pet names which u had called me tht night when we both spent.Why is it tht i always need to feel pain?Dont u feel pain,tell me Maan!We both met in Hoshiarpur and u saved my life from my family.But u dint remember it.When we met second time in ur party then u accused me that am trying to trap u.Was u were dumb?Cant u see the love in my eyes?Why is it that i always need to give my love test and u get ur love very easily after hurting it...why?

Geet leaned her head on the wall and closed her eyes then she remember her promise to Annie and cursed herself and her heart to agree with her request.

Geet's mind said,"U shd have told her the truth!Why dint u?And now u r regretting ur decision..if u agree for something then do tht work or dont do it and refuse it in the starting only.But dont stay as coward!"

Geet sighed and looked up towards the clock to get she was late for her college.Geet got up in hurry and had her shower and stuffed some Bananas inside her bag and made Mango smoothie and left the flat drinking the smoothie and joined Prem in Library.Geet wanted to concentrate on her studies now leaving Maan and her love aside.Prem had introduced Geet to Maan's private library where she can study.Maan dint know abt this and Prem went away for his personal work leaving Geet in library.Here Geet worked in library till evening and then she got fatigued due to the stress which is taking in her life so she slept on the table only.

Maan finished his lectures and came to his office to keep his belongings when he saw the light in his library.He wondered who was using his library at this hour and entered to investigate when he got the most serene scene.There slept Geet who was snoring softly.His M shaped lips crept into simple but killer smile and walked towards her.

She dint wake hearing the sounds while he stood staring at her sleeping form.So innocent he thought...her angelic face which had the most beautiful smile..her almond eyes for which he was mesmerised made him stare at her lovingly.She was indeed cute and innocent.When she gets angry on that time she would turn more cute with wide almond eyes and fires spitting from it.This made him hardened more and he looked at her more lovingly.
