this is a filler but an important one. arnav and kushi are able to get in sync. that shows their depth of love. and wonder when Devyani Raizada will learn to understand or atleast give some thinking to others feelings and thoughts. she is not a dictator and the soon she understands this, the better. waiting for the next update eagerly

A/N: Well now here is the most awaited part but I am not sure if I have been able to do justice with this but I have tried...

The songs chosen for this chapter are my personal favorites and I have decided long back to use them in this situation.

Now before you go to read the part I want to discuss something about my two main characters.

First, Arnav: Truth to be told I have come across only one lover in my life so far and he is my husband 😃 so you see my experience is very less about lovers especially men. So I have gathered few characteristic of my husband when we have been dating and also the Arnav Singh Raizada from the show and have blended them together with the spice of every girl's dream man to make the Arnav Singh Raizada of Unknowingly... J not very creative I know 😛.

Now Khushi, actually before Arnav's she is my Khushi 😊

I have lived in her character... She is every bit of me.

I won't go into details but just one thing I can make you sure about that she was not completely an imaginative character. She is a mixture of facts and fantasy.

I have read a comment about her trust issue is she really loves Arnav if she cannot trust him with her secrets...

Well I will not justify her character but I would tell you what I have thought when I fist thought of her character.

We love people easily... we love our parents, our siblings, our husband, our children... It just happens, we fall in love. But We learn to trust them with time.

In Khushi's case she is struggling with her life since childhood, she is too much messed up to trust easily but she is trying and hard...

Here I have said it all and I have been blabbering from long, so now go on and read the update I won't eat your heads anymore 😆...

And yes Unknowingly is reaching it's end soon... so keep reading and do tell me how you felt... 😃

Part - 39

Arnav stared out of the window watching the waves crashing hard on the shore before going back and tried to process what he just heard; Khushi was in the same city where he was for almost a week now.

No it was not possible for him to bump on to her in these days because he hardly left his room in the hotel without work or meeting. What he couldn't process that she was so near to him yet he didn't know. She was so near yet she didn't come to him.

Well she didn't know that he was there in Mumbai but Delhi wasn't far even better she could have called.

Arnav shook his head at his own foolish thinking.

It was her who left him then why she would call him to let him know that she was back in the country. Yet his stupid heart had hoped for her to return herself.

He crossed his arms over his chest as his face hardened.

What did she think that she could hide from him?

What did she think that he wouldn't try to find her?

That he wouldn't want to know why she left her.

That he would let her go.

SO EASY!?

Moreover, what did she think he wouldn't know when she was so near to him?

Then she was yet to know the ASR in him, whom she hardly met while she was well accustomed with Arnav.

ASR never let go of his desired thing, especially when it was question of his life and sanity.

His mind drifted back to the miserable week he had spent after coming here in Mumbai to escape from the known faces crowding around him whom he had suddenly started feeling unknown.

Then the call...

ASR they have left Johannesburg.

WHAT?

Yes and her brother had left his job here.

WHY?

No idea.

THEN FIND OUT YOU... WHAT I AM PAYING YOU FOR?

We are trying. But it seems that his brother has taken up job in some other company and shifted from this country all together.

SHIT!

They have left a day before and we are trying to trace them already, hopefully in couple of days we would be able to find out where they have gone.

TRY HARDER I WANT RESULT ASAP.

And after two days of pure hell he had got to know that she was in India and he didn't take a moment long to call his sources and Jay to find out her exact location and today he found out that she was so near for so long.

He threw his head back swallowing through the tightness in his throat, and chuckled without humor thinking Had Arnav Singh Raizada ever thought in his 29 years that a girl would have so much power on him? Who can turn mighty ASR's would upside down just with her appearance and then with her disappearance.'

He whispered to the air "what have you done to me Khushi? I have become a bloody Devdas without you." and a small mirthless laugh followed.

Khushi stared blankly at the phone screen before her, thinking what exactly she did and why?

She knew that Arnav would find her very soon and she needed to be prepared for a faceoff with the Devil himself. But she also knew when it comes to Arnav Singh Raizada all preparation can go to hell because she knew long back he was anything but predictable.

She sighed. She knew it wasn't going to be pretty rather she was scared; would she be able to take his wrath?

She had unleashed the beast in him who wouldn't care for her fear. She just hoped that she would be strong enough.

She shivered closing her eyes and recalled Mamaji's words "Pain and risk part of our lives Khushi but they are worth enduring when we do it for who we love and it is Arnav you are doing this for..."

Khushi whispered, "For You Arnav." and tried to gather her strength.

Arnav walked in the auditorium, where the inter college fest was taking place. All big business schools and B.E schools had joined hands to raise fund for Uttarakhand floods victims. He was VVIP guest here who had donated a hefty amount to the organizer of this fundraiser.

He didn't feel surprised seeing La and NK near the stage.

Yes he never thought Khushi would be here and wouldn't call her only friends. He also didn't expect them to come running to him as soon Khushi contacted them. He knew they were bonded by trust and they wouldn't break that trust for anything.

He wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow he came to know that they knew all along where she was. He never approached them knowing well they wouldn't break Khushi's trust for the world. So he had used his power and after 23 days of search and 25 days of wait here he was to get all his answer. He took his seat in the VVIP area after shaking hand with the other personalities present there and waited patiently for her to make appearance.

No he wouldn't go running to her, because she cannot run from him anymore, he had made sure of it. So he sat relaxed on his chair after 25 days.

The dark stage came alive with the light dancing and faint music fell on all ears, Arnav held her breathe when he heard the voice, it's her...

Now he saw her almost 10 feet above the stage sitting balanced in a ring.

Literally in a f*cking ring.

He almost jumped up from his chair scared that she would fall, about to break into a run when he saw the ring slowly lowering near the ground and she was far from scared herself. She was singing with ease as if she was sitting on a swing. A microphone plugged near her mouth from her ear and her voice continued to echo in the auditorium and Arnav slowly slid down in his seat.

The ring was about some 5 feet up the platform when she slowly hung with the support of her hand and then just left it...

Arnav couldn't tell what he felt at that moment. He was at the edge of his plush chair and his heart almost jumped out of his mouth.

For an instance he felt that she knew he was here and to escape from him she jumped off to hurt herself.

Then he saw the light came on the main stage and he didn't really know when those people crept on the stage to catch her and he found them placing her on the ground. He exhaled heavily and continued to drink in her sight trying to get his fill of 25 days. His search was over.

He closed his eyes in relief but snapped open when he heard NK's voice on the stage and continued to watch, fascinated with the performance.

She stood there her hair flowing in every direction. She looked wild, miserable, pained yet gorgeous.

For Arnav it felt that she was referring to him and he doubted that if she knew about him present here.

When she stood numb there staring with unseen eyes NK came to touch her shoulder and she came alive with more wildness and that showed as she matched steps with the dancers on the stage while singing at the same time.

Now that I know what I'm without

She danced in abandon not caring anything in the world.

She was in a world of her own misery. Her agonized face even pained the already hurting heart of Arnav. He knew she was too suffering but then why she did this to him, to her? He needed answer and today.

Arnav saw her walking to the ring still hanging in the middle and then his eyes went wide seeing her next action. She seemed to Arnav just bloody f*cking doing circus with that.

It was long forgotten for Arnav that she was a dancer and happens to be trained in Acrobatics.

For him it seemed that she was just risking her life.

For him she didn't care that if something happened to her he would be left just as a corpse.

He only breathed when she came down and took the guitar left near the drum. NK begun his part and Khushi followed while playing the guitar along.

All this time I can't believe I couldn't see

She looked restless, she looked hit by storm. She looked possessed and mad, she looked distraught. She looked she was choking in her own tears and no one knew. NK stared at her lifeless face.

And then Arnav, NK and La stared thunderstruck unable to believe their eyes as she hit the guitar on the platform hard, breaking it into pieces only attached by the strings. Her despair getting the better of her affecting her sanity. Her frustration reaching to the fever peek.

The audience didn't seem to have a little beat of inkling what had happened in reality rather they looked enjoying and blown away by her performance rather say her angst.

NK came out of her stupor and took his cue and continued with performance when La signaled him.

Khushi fell down on her knees and almost cried her pain out with the finishing lines. The auditorium broke in loud round of applaud. All stood up from their seat after a warming performance to show their gratitude to the singer.

Only three people cried silent tears. One sitting among the audience and other two standing on the stage by her side.

Khushi left the stage not waiting for a moment after she finished and ran out.

She had already felt him here and she felt too weak and scared to face him right then so she broke into a run but collided with someone.

She found two armed men looking down at her intently.

ASR had already predicted her action and had arranged accordingly. She was now at his mercy and his prisoner.

"Mam this way"... she heard one of them speak and she knew better than to fight.

They started walking towards the long car parked near the gate of the auditorium but their walk came to a halt when they saw Arnav standing in the middle.

The bodyguards moved for Arnav to see his Khushi and then all hell broke loose.

Literally.

The rain started pouring without any prior notice as if the heaven itself cried in relief.

The bodyguard looked at them their eyes fixed at one another not blinking once and decided to move aside giving them the much needed privacy.

Khushi drank in the sight of her Arnav. The water running down his face. He looked tired and wary. He looked weak and tortured. All for her.

And then it happened, her mask of bravery slipped away and she fell down in a heap on the ground. Her tears mingling with the rain water and she cried the tears long held in need of release before they choked her to death.

Arnav too came down beside her and looked at her troubled face and unending tears. Her trembling hand met the skin of his cheek and that was his undone.

He held her tight to just hold her to believe that she was really there and cried along, silent tears following down. She welcomed the hug with same fervor, with same desperation holding him as tight he she could.

The anger took back seat for that moment and the need of feel her stronger than any emotion.

She cradled her in his arms and stood up helping her on her feet. She looked fragile and he looked tired to start a fight.

The questions had to be answered.

Right now it was time for rest for two restless souls after a long battle they had fought against their own heart and feelings.

He held her close and tight. Both walked towards his car, clutching on to each other like each other's anchor. The rain still falling soothing the burning of their heart.
