AAA! 🤗
This is how I feel about this update:
Infact I read it a few times, what can I say I simply LOVED everything that transpired between Arnav and Khushi. Loved them both equally here and for different reasons too! ;-)
Let me get on with my rambling then, you started off light with Khushi dealing with a hang over and Arnav still trying to rectify Khushi's misconception about him not liking her at her drunken state. I couldn't stop smiling at his attempts of complimenting everything that related to her, even her bangles that mostly annoyed him. I had a good crack up session at Arnav explaining why he loved her bangles and then at Khushi snapping there! She obviously didn't remember their moments from the night before when Arnav had more than assured her about how much he liked her. The Arnav who was making resolves to rectify Khushi's misconception and sugar quoting his thoughts was just so endearing and adorable. I never thought I would use the word "adorable" for the Arnav in this FF what the heck I can now add this adjective on to the many others that I already had for him. His loyalty, passion, possessiveness and most of all genuine affection for his Khushi definitely came to light more in this update!
Shyam and Khushi's encounter was covered wonderfully A. It was strong, intense and it showcased just the kind of vile person, Shyam is. I had no idea he would stoop so low to call Khushi names, threaten her and hurt her all over again after abandoning her at the alter. Forget being sorry he managed to humilate and hurt her yet again reminding her of her handicap and implying how noone would have been ever willing to marry someone like her. If I had totally forgotten about Shyam's existence, this update made me hate the guy more than I could possibly hate any fictional character. And so you can imagine my relief at him getting just the right treatment from Arnavji. If only Arnav ji would have heard everything he barked at Khushi, I am certain he wouldn't have let him go with just a punch and a fine. The scene where Shyam's calling the guards backfired on him was so cleverly put there A, I can't help but commend you for it. I can't help but commend you for every scene and just every single dialogue here. I couldn't stop chuckling at Arnav referring to Khushi as mother Teresa when she didn't want Shyam to get into too much trouble. Is she an angel or what, how could someone be so forgiving after being treated the way she was. This scene again proved just how much someone like Khushi needs a person like Arnav in their life!
As much as it broke my heart for Khushi to see her insecurities resurface and hence her insistence on taking it easy on Shyam, I am glad this happened because only this encounter made Arnav ji utter things he wouldn't have probably confessed. Yes I am referring to the "You are mine" portion, I am referring to his possessiveness and then when he mused out loud about how he wouldn't have had the chance to marry Khushi if Shyam hadn't ran away. What can I say I absolutely loved these dialogues! What made me more glad was the fact that Khushi heard his statements loud and clear, she also understood his meaning & his feelings for her as well.
I don't think it is even possible to adore your Khushi more than I do A. The chapter more or less is a turning point for Khushi isn't it? She finally understood the fact that her husband loves her or lets just say cares for her deeply but will not acknowledge and confess because of his own set of insecurities. The way she mused about his reasons was quite enlightening!
So thank you A for giving us the best of the Arnav and Khushi of this FF! This chapter is definitely one of my favourite chapters of this FF to date! Bring on more, will you!
