Heyya, here's the next update. Before going to the update, here's another pic of Ruhanika aka Kaira of this story. I so love this doll... <3

Part 30:

Dadi bua didn't like it at all. She paced to and fro in her room. While the rest of the people were sleeping in the house, she was awake. The budding imminence between Kriya and Rey pinched her eyes. She couldn't bear Rey becoming close to Kriya or maybe there was some other reason behind it.

"Rey aap yeh kaise kar sakte hai? Aap Payal ki jaga kisi aur ko kaise de sakte hai? Maaf ki jiye beta lekin hum yeh hone nahi denge. Uss kal ki aayi ladki ko toh hum iss ghar se aur aapki zindagi se nikal kar hi rahenge." She spoke to herself. With a determination, she let the sleep overcome her.

The dawn arose, shining it bright rays over everyone. To break Kriya's sleep thealarm rang.With partially closed eyes, she shut the alarm and got off the bed proceeding to the washroom. After getting herself a hot shower she came out wearing a blue saree with her hairs still damp. Standing in front of the mirror she dried up he hairs. While doing so, her mind revived the incidents occurred yesterday. The way Rey gifted her the dress, helped her zipping up her dress, adoring her in front of everyone and last but not the least the kiss he planted on her cheek last night, brought a crimson hues over her cheeks. She herself felt amazed. Just the mere thought of moments spent with him made her feeldifferent, something that was never felt before. His touch made her stomach churn within, sendinggoosebumpsall over. Even Rajeev's touch had similar feelings but Rey had the audacity to make her upsides down.
Leaving aside her thoughts aside, she went to wake up Rey. She couldn't help but admire the way he sleeps, with his lips slightly parted. Kaira has acquired a lot of features from her father and one being this.

"Rey wake up." She said shaking him.

"Just two minutes, please."

"No, you need to wake right now, we have an important meeting todayandyou still need to complete the bit presentation."

As soon as these words escaped her mouth, he woke up with a jolt. "Oh f**k. I just forgot about this."

The next moment he feltembarrassed for using the word f**k in front of her. "It's fine. You don't need to feel embarrassed."

"Errr...sorry...Can you please pass me the laptop? I don't feel like getting out of the bed."

"Okay." After passing the laptop, she left the room to wake up Kaira and Sharon. But to her surprise both of them werealreadyup. Just as Kriya entered the room, Sharon and Kaira came out the washroom with Kaira draped in a towel and Sharon in a bathrobe.

"Both of you had bath, so soon?" Kriya asked surprised.

"Well, I had no intentions of bathing this soon but this little angel is very notorious." Sharon said while pulling Kaira's cheeks who in return giggled at her. Kriya went to her room and returned back with a dress for Sharon. Handing her the dress, Kriya started drying up Kaira's hair before changing her into the school uniform.

"Mommy, I don't want to go to school...pleasee..."

"But why?"

"Because I want to spend time with Sharon maasi."

"But how will you spend time with maasi? Even she has to go college." Kriya said.

"Di, no college today..pleasee..." Both Sharon and Kaira pleaded Kriya but nothing worked in front of her.

"Okay, so let's do one thing. Both of you will go to college and school respectively and when I return from office, I'll prepare a delicious chocolate shake topped with ice cream and choco chips, what's say?"

This was enough to make them agree. Fortunately Kaira and Sharon shared a bit similar tastes. But the next moment, Sharon's face fell down. "But di, mom won't permit me to stay here for another day."

"Your mom has given you the permission Sharon. You are staying here for another two days and Smriti has agreed to it." Preeti said waling in.

"Really!! Thank you so much, aunty."

It was night. Everyone was seated at the dinning table.

"Kriya kal se aap raat ka khana banayengi." Dadi bua stated.

"But dadi bua jab ghar mein itne saare servants hai toh Kriya ko khana banane ki kya zaroorat hai?" Rey asked.

"Kriya iss ghar ki bahu hai and itna toh vo kar hi sakti hai. And waise bhi Payal bhi..."

"Ji dadi bua. Kal se mein khana banaugi." Kriya cut her in between before the old lady could again compare her with Payal.

"Mommy...can I ask you something?"

"Yes sweety."

"Mommy I want a younger brother or sister." Kriya started choking whilst Rey spat the water he was drinking. Both od them were shocked with this demand. The others except dadi bua surpressed their laugh.

"Mommy, daddy are you fine?" Kaira asked confused as to why was everyone was behaving that way.

"Uh Kaira, while eating you should not talk. It's bad manners. Have your dinner first." Rey changed the topic.

Both Rey and Kriya avoided to look at eachother. Sharon nudged Kriya in between making her embarassed. Kaira quickly finished her dinner and said "I finished dinner. Now say will u bring me a baby brother or sister?"

"Uh...I'll put the dishes in the kitchen." Saying this Kriya escaped from that situation, leaving Rey alone to deal with it.

"Why do you want a baby brother/sister?" Rey asked picking up Kaira in his arms.

"Because it is fun to have a baby brother/sisters. Most of my friends have a brother or sister."

"Ohh...I will surely get a baby brother or sister for you but there's one problem."

"What?"

"If you start loving your baby brother/sister then Mr.Pooh will become upset. Do you want him to be upset?"

She stared at Rey with her wide innocent eyes. After thinking for a moment, she replied. "I don't want anyone. I want only Mr.Pooh." Mr.Pooh was the name of her favorite teddy bear.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes daddy." Saying this she left from there. Everyone was impressed with Rey. Kriya felt guilty for having left him alone in the awkward situation. But it wasn't her fault either. It was all new to her and she was still learning.

She followed Rey who was going to their room. As they entered inside she said. "Rey I'm sorry. I shouldn't have escaped from there."

"It's fine. I know you are still learning to deal with Kaira so it's alright." Kriya smiled at him.

"By the way can I ask you a question?" Kria asked.

"Yeah."

"Had Kaira been so adamant on having a baby brother then what you would have done? Would you agree to get her a baby brother/sister?" She didn't know why but she just felt like asking this.

He stared at her for a moment. "Well I would tell her that Mr.Pooh would become so angry on her that he would leave her and go."

This irrational answer of his made both of them laugh. "I have some work in kitchen. I'll leave." Saying this kriya left.

Downstairs dadi bua was waiting for Kriya. "Aap ne Kaira ke sawal ka jawab kyu nahi diya?"

"Vo dadi bua...mere paas koi answer nahi tha."

"Vaise aapko meri shart toh yaad hai na? 3 mahine hai aapke paas...jisme se aadha mahina toh hogaya. Agar aapne yeh shart poori ki toh aapko yeh ghar aur Rey ko chod kar jaana hoga."

"Aapko mujhse itni kya problem hai?"

"Aap hume pasand nahi."

"Lekin meine kiya kya?"

"Hume aapse iss baat pe koi behas nahi karni." Saying this she left, annoying Kriya alot.

Great update!!
Loved the way Rey handled Kaira's question !! He is an amazing father indeed !!
Love the pace at which Rey and Kriya's story is moving forward...
Kriya is totally smitten and now its Rey's turn!!!
Hate Dadi bua for obvious reasons but I am sure she is gonna act as a catalyst in the Kriyaansh romance !!
