Insecurities
Chapter 1:
Mohan is driving the car on the busy streets of Delhi. Khushi and Payal is seated on the back seat of the car. They were coming back from the mandir. Khushi is looking out side the window blankly. Payal looked at Khushi and noticed that Khushi was unusually quiet these days and Payal knows the reason too! She sighed at her baby sister.
Payal: "Khushi, if u want i will post pone my journey. Nothing is important for me than u." She told honestly to her sister. Khushi gasped at this.
Khushi: "No jiji... U should go with jijaji. Last time also u two couldn't go because of me and Arnavji. It's high time that u spent some quality time with jijaji. Besides Arnav ji and Di is there na." She assured her jiji.
Payal: "Are u okay Khushi?"
Khushi: "Of course jiji. It's just that... I don't know why... But this year i'm feeling very worse."
There was a long pause after which Payal broke the silence.
Payal: "Did u tell Arnavji about this?"
Khushi: "No jiji. I will tell him today. Leave that all, Did u finished ur packing and when is ur flight?" She tried to change the subject.
Payal: "Almost everything is done. Flight is today at night." They talked about random things for the rest of their journey.

It was evening and it's time for Arnav to come back from the office. Khushi is waiting for Arnav to come home. Akash didn't went to office as he has some arrangements to be done. Every one is busy with their packing as they have to leave for the airport. After 10 mints from there the door bell rand at RM. Everyone is having their evening snacks. HP rushed to the door and let Arnav, Aarav and Sheetal come. Khushi was about to stood up from her seat by seeing Arnav when she noticed Aarav and Sheetal along with him. Aarav was telling his day at school enthusiastically while Arnav and Sheetal listened to him keenly. Khushi didn't felt like interfering them so she sat back on her seat. Anjali noticed this and shook her head to her self.
Nani: "Chotey? Sheetal bitiya and Aarav beta, how come u guys with Chotey?"
Arnav: "I was heading back from office when i saw Sheetal and Aarav on their way back to home. So i gave them a lift."
Anjali: "Go and get fresh. It's almost time for Akash and Payal to leave." Arnav looked around for Khushi and spotted her next to Payal and she was talking with Payal something serious. Suddenly she turned to him and he smiled at her and she returned the smile. Soon it was time for Akash and Payal to leave.
Mami: "Khoon bhari tang.. u better take care of my Akash bitwa and urself. Don't go out alone. U r new there."
Gupta's also was there to send them off. Soon Akash and Payal took their leave to airport.
After the dinner Gupta's took their leave and everybody retired to their room. Khushi entered their room and saw that Arnav is working on his laptop. She walked and stood near him. Arnav noticed her and smiled at her and saw her hesitating.
Arnav: "U want to tell something Khushi?"
Khushi: "Arnavji i need to tell u something." She hesitated a bit. "Um.. Could u pls come with me to Mumbai tomorrow?" She asked hopefully.
Arnav: "I'm so sorry Khushi but i can't. I have a important meeting with one of my clients at morning.
Khushi: "Then after ur meeting can we go? "
Arnav: "Tomorrow evening there is some programme in Aarav's school and i promised him that i will go with him. But y r u going to Mumbai?" Khushi felt highly disappointed.
Khushi: "I... It's.. my... friend's wedding so to attend that."
Arnav: "Then... take Di with u." Khushi nodded at him. And they both laid on the bed. And soon Arnav drifted into sleep while Khushi laid wide awake sobbing silently to herself.

Morning:
After breakfast Arnav and Sheetal went to office and on their way dropped Aarav to his school. NK went to one of his friend's house. Anjali noticed that Khushi was very very quiet today. She didn't even smiled or talked to anyone. At breakfast table also she barely ate anything. When Nani asked about her the same she told she was fine. Anjali was busy in her thoughts when Khushi approached her.
Khushi: "Di... May i go to temple?" She asked quietly. Anjali noticed that she was looking very pale.
Anjali: "Khushi ji r u okay? U look so pale." She said with concern while cupping her face.
Khushi: "I'm fine Di.. It's just that I'm not feeling well. I will be okay if i went to the temple and Di pls may i go to my house today?" She asked with such a pleading tone that Anjali couldn't refuse her.
Anjali: "Ok then, I will drop u to ur house on the way back from temple."
Khushi: "No Di... I want to go alone." She refused Amjali.
Anjali: "But Khushi ji..."
Khushi: "Pls Di..." She pleaded to Anjlai.
Anjali: "Ok then. Pls call me when u reached Buaji's house Okay?" She kissed Khushi's forehead and Khushi walked away from there. Anjali sighed at the retreating figure of Khushi.

Evening:
It was evening and there was no call from Khushi. Nani, Anjali and Mami was worried. Anjali tried calling her mobile but it was unreachable. So she tried in calling Buaji's landline number but no one was picking up the call. She called HP from the kitchen and told him to call Mohan, their driver.
Anjali: "Mohan ji, When u dropped Khushiji in Buaji's house anyone was there?"
Mohan: "No madam. The house was locked. And Khushi madam told me to go and she will wait in the her friend Preeto's house till they come."
Anjali: "Then pls go and check if she is still in Preeto's house or not and call me." Mohan nodded at her and went from there.
Mami: "Why that phatti sadi didn't call us?" She wondered out aloud.
Anjali: "Nani.. Should we tell Chottey...?"
Nani: "No Anjali bitiya. Let us wait for Mohan's call. I'm sure that Khushi will be in Preeto's house. You know our Khushi bitiya right, When she saw her friend she might forget to call us. Let us not worry Chottey."
After sometimes Mohan called Anjali.
Mohan: "Madam, They said that Khushi madam didn't went to their home. Moreover her Buaji Amma and Shashiji went to the hospital some times back."
Anjali: "What?? Then where is she? U pls search her there." She cut the call and informed Nani the same. And now Nani, Anjali and Mami became highly worried.
Mami: "Anjali bitiya u pls call Arnav bitwa and inform him."
Anjali tried to call him but his phone was switched off. So she tried on Sheetal's phone as she knew that he will be with Aarav and Sheetal in his school. But Sheetal was not picking her call. She tried again and again but it was the same.

At night 7:00 pm:
Arnav, Aarav and Sheetal entered Raizada Mansion happily to witness a highly worried Amjali, Nani, Mami and HP. When they saw him they all rushed to him.
Anjali: "Where were u Chotte? Why didn't u pick ur phone? Do u even know how many tried i called u?" She asked him angrily while he and Sheetal looked at Anjali confused.
Arnav: "What happened Di?? My phone was down with battery. And there was loud sound in the school."
Mami: "Arnav bitwa.. phattisaadi didn't came back yet." She told while sobbing.
Arnav: "What??? But where did she went?"
Anjali told him what happened.
Arnav: "But Di... Yesterday night she told me that she want to go to Mumbai to attend her friend's wedding. She might be there. Let me call her."
Anjali: "No Chottey.. She didn't tell us anything of that sort. I'm sure that she is in some kind of depression." Now Anjali was crying badly.
Nani: "Pls protect my Khushi bitiya Devi Maiyya..." Arnav tried calling her and but he also got the same respond.
Sheetal: "Don't worry. She will be back in sometime. She is not a small child that she don't know how to take care of her. Let's wait for her her."
Anjali: "Sheetal ji pls... It's our family matter and we don't like any outsiders interfering in any of our personal matters. And one more thing, We let u stay here for sometimes doesn't mean that u could say anything about our family members. So pls stay out of these." She warned Sheetal in a harsh tone. Sheetal looked away feeling embarrassed. Arnav was highly worried that he couldn't get through Khushi. He was about to dial the police when his phone ringed showing NK's number. He took the phone to tell NK to call him back after some times but he was cut off by NK.
Arnav: "What????? Okay u wait there i will reach there as soon as possible." With that he cut the call.
