CHAPTER 1 ::::: start of destruction

" the award for the best businessman of the year goes to none other than mr. Virat Vadera... a big round of applause ladies and gentlemen... "

Virat heard this announcement and got up from his chair to get congratulated by his elder sister, natasha and his brother-in-law swayam. today he had bagged this particular award for the fourth time in a row and everyone around was continuously applauding him for his great work but a smile refused to crept on his face. it was difficult for him to take further steps towards the stage. his achievements were calling him while each and every person in the hall was celebrating it. but he... but he wasnt... he paid a huge amount for this particular piece of gold and this sound of claps echoing in that big hall of the hotel.

Virat recieved the award and unlike every year, this time he said a honest "thank you" and got off the stage and without looking at anyone went out of the hotel. he got into his car and looked at the trophy he was holding in his hands. this was what he wanted his whole life. people know him, they praise him, they applaud him for his good work, they befriend him and when their selfish motive is fulfilled they disappear like air... but did he had the right to curse the people around him, the society in which he was born, the society in which he lived till now... no he didnt because he was also one of them... he was also like every other person belonging to that class. he was also mean, selfish, and rude at times... he also thought about himself - his dreams and his aspirations...

Virat kept the trophy on the passenger seat and moved his hand on the seat trying to feel her warmth... trying to feel her scent... he blankly stared at the seat remembering all the times she used to be with him, beside him... he missed her, he missed every little thing about her... though some of her habits used to irritate him but today it all brought a smile on his expressionless face. he was burning... burning in the pain of separtion... but he was somewhere hopeful that she would return to him one day... in few days of her absence, he has realised how much he loves her... how much he wants her in his life... she was the air he breathed... she made him love this life... she taught him how to live and then she only left him to struggle alone... she was everything to him... everything he ever wanted from his life...

thinking about her brought tears in his eyes and for the first time Virat Vadera, the businessman shattered into pieces... for the first time he felt so prone to emotions and pain... he was emotionally shattered and so was his life...

" i lose... i lose... " he shouted while tears flowing continuously from his eyes... he has realise he wants HER... her love and nothing else... he wants his wife back... he does not want this appreciation and praise... he wants only one thing... just one word... LOVE...
" come back to me Manvi... come back please...Manviii... "
he kept calling his lady love but alas no one could hear him and his sobs...

may be this was the start of his DESTRUCTION...

natasha puri ~~ virat's elder sister, married to swayam puri, 27 years old, a social butterfly, interior decorator by profession. societ and status is what that matters to her...

swayam puri ~~ married to natasha, 28 years old, a busniessman but not as big as virat, gets annoyed with natasha when she talks only and only about status and society, he is a genuine and a striaghtforward person who is not at all fake... may be thats why not that successful.

Naina superb update!! ⭐️ Virat's emotions are nicely described.. He is a successful man for the world but in reality he is all alone.. He is not satisfied with his life and he wants Manvi back in his life.. Now the question is, why did she leave him and why is he regretting so much?? Eager to read more.. Btw Kamya as Virat's sister!
