I was not going to update today but my two buddies were so sad and bored so I thought I would surprise them. So here is the next chapter. I know you all are waiting for their misunderstanding to be cleared but as Zoya said she will wait, I am also saying please wait. This things are needed to be cleared first. Zoya will know the truth in the right time. Hope you will not be bored.

Chapter 38
Zoya came out from washroom after refreshing and changing. She again took a look of the whole room. This is going to be her room from today. A small smile was adorned on her lips. She looked every corner of that room as like she was inventing it for the first time. First she opened the cupboards: her sarees, anakali's; jeans were hanged besides Asad's 3-pieces. Suddenly her clothes looked more beautiful to her thinking they were beside his cloths. She whacked her head thinking her silly thought and closed the door. Then she looked at the side table of the bed, her I-pad was lying neatly there besides the Asad's laptop. Her eyes wandered on the other side suddenly something caught her eye. A photo frame! Her eyes scrunched in confusion as she knew Asad did not like these types of things. Then why it was there? She did not even see this before. May be it was here, she just ignored it before. She went near it in order to get a better view. She sat on the bed and took the frame in her hand and her eyes went wide in shock.

Asad was sitting on the carpet, keeping his head on Amreen Didan's lap. She was caressing her hand through his hair. Asad sighed heavily with this gesture.
"What happened bachcha?" Amreen asked Asad. She was sensing that Asad was worried about something.
"I am afraid, Didan." Asad told like a complaining child.
"Huh!! My lion is afraid of something, why? Amreen asked in a confused tone.
Asad looked up to her."I am afraid to let Nazma go, Didan. What if she will not happy there? How will she manage? She is my baby." Asad said to her in a choking tone.
Amreen laughed out loud. "Then why you married to Zoya? Why your father married to your mother?" Amreen stopped as she told about Rashid.
Asad's jaw clenched at once he heard about Rashid.
"I am sorry. I should not have said that. But Asad, love is one thing which will bind Nazma to Imraan, right? Then why will she be not happy there. As long as I know Imraan is a very good guy and he loves Nazma from college time. Mr. Qureshi is also very good human being, you yourself confirmed it. Then why are you afraid?" Amreen cleared her stance to Asad.
Asad nodded weakly this time and held her hand"One more thing Didan, I know Ammi is missing him badly and want him in Nazma's wedding but I do not want it. I hate him, you know that very well. I want to do every ritual, every thing that a father does in her daughter's wedding. As I do not know many rituals, will you please tell me about these details? I could ask Ammi but she will be hurt so..." Asad could not finish it as Amreen said "I know, I will tell you."
Asad squeezed her hand and again kept his head on her lap.
"Don't you have to sleep today? Go and take rest." Amreen said while hiding her smile as she liked this conversation. Asad was acting like a child, it was a sight to treat after all.
"No, some times more, Didan. Please! Do that what you were doing earlier." Asad demanded that head massage again. Amreen laughed and started her hand magic again.

Zoya's eyes filled with tears watching that picture. It was hers, one of those which were taken in her wedding day. She saw this picture in their wedding album before, it was with Dilshad. Zoya was in bridal attire, after finishing all the make-up, smiling. The phographer took the photo at that time when she was looking at the camera. Probably it was her one of the best picture in her wedding. Then she realized they had no picture together on their wedding, as Asad had to leave that day after saying "Qubool hai." Again she was feeling loved, feeling special. With a wide grin she placed the photo frame on the place and took her I-pad. She had very important work now.
She surfed through the Google about half an hour and found different cases of stabbing. Some are so horrible she could not even read the details. She was relieved to read that Asad was really okay. Almost every person who had been stabbed was suffering from trauma attack; if anything had triggered his/her mind. She took out medicines and prescription, placed them on the table and also a glass of water near this. She then brought out Asad's night white kurta and Pajama; placed those in the washroom. She then looked at the clock, it was almost 12 am. She yawned and wanted to sleep. So she went silently to the living room to call Asad but stooped in her track as she looked them from her. Asad was ordering where to massage his head and Amreen was following his instructions lovingly. Zoya stepped back from that scene, it was not her time. It was their time. Again her eyes filled with liquid which she wiped away. She saw them lovingly, a child Asad and the loving Didan. After sometimes she returned to the room, leave a text to Asad stating which medicine needed to be taken, his dress was in the washroom, no need to check in the cupboards and a simple good night. She waited for him for sometimes but sleep did not let her. She switched off the light and straightened on the bed on her side. Uneasiness was there as she was in another room. But she remembered the first night she spent here. How she chose Asad's side of the bed and how he had lied on her that night. She smiled inwardly, thinking how silly that was but failed to notice how her Allah Miyan actually binds her with his side forever in their lifetime. She was in her dreamland within minutes.

Asad almost slept under the caring hand of Amreen. Amreen was asking to him about Zoya but he did not answer when she realized Asad was sleeping. She smiled and gently patted his back. He rubbed his eyes, registering he had slept there,
"Go, sleep bachcha, tomorrow there is lot of works we have to do. Good night" Amreen said him softly.
"Okay, Didan. Good night. Let me take you to your room" He mumbled.
"No need. You go" Amreen said sternly.
Asad nodded taking his cell from the table, which was flashing with a message received from "Ms. Musibat." He frowned at that, walking towards his room. He read her text before reaching his room door. A smile adorned his lips reading that. He was confused when he saw his room light was off. Without much thinking he went to the washroom and changed. After fifteen minutes he went on his side of bed turn on his table lamp and saw the medicines. He smiled wildly watching them and took them. Then he saw Zoya's I -pad on the side table. He was confused about it then thought Zoya left it there when she came there to leave his medicine. He wanted to give it back to her but did not go to her room, thinking she must had been slept by that time. So he turned off the light and lied down oh his side of bed. In this whole time he had failed to notice the change not even in his room but also on his bed as he had his back on Zoya's and never looked back.

He was thinking about his whole colorful day. It was another best day of his life as he seen a fear free Zoya infront of him. He was missing her now. He was becoming restless and decided to sneak a peak into her room. With that thought he sprang up from his bed and made his way to her room. He was going to open the door when Dilshad put her hand on his shoulder.
"What are you doing here at this time?" Dilshad was confused."Had Zoya sent you to pick up something but I volunteered the whole transferring and I know I took everything from this room" Dilshad explained this time.
"Huh!" Where did she go?" Asad was perplexed, trying to processing this new news. "Oh! Silly of me, Didan is here so obviously she is in the guest room." He mumbled.
Dilshad nodded silently and went to the living room to take water. Asad went after her. So "Zoya is with you or Nazma" Asad asked her to confirm.
"Allah Miyan what is wrong with you Asad?" Dilshad giggled saying Zoya'e trademark line and whacking his head playfully. "Aww...Ammi" Asad looked at her amusingly massaging his head.
"Buddhu! Zoya is in your room." Dilshad said to him, she was trying to hide her amusement. "You did not even see her there? Did you?" Asad's eyes went wide but again he asked in confusion, "No but why?"
"Ya Allah! What do I do with this dumbo? She is your wife remember and Amreen Khala does not know about anything about you and Zoya" Dilshad with an irritated tone. "Now go and sleep, please, good night."
Asad nodded weakly and took slow steps towards his room. He turned on the table lamp. There she was, he just could not believe his eyes.He saw her serene sleeping face. He could not stop himself to touch her; he caressed her cheek lovingly, pushing her bangs from her forehead. She frowned this time, he looked around and trying to find out what was bothering her? Then he reached for the lamp and turned it off. He could look at her all his life in this half life,he thought to himself. He leaned over her and kissed her forehead mumbling good night. Then he lied on the bed in his side,he closed his eyes peacefully, holding her hand.
He maintained the gap between them as he knew this was not the right time. She was taking step towards him and he should give her time. Slow and steady wins the race. But after 15 minutes Zoya stirred and rolled over his side and held his collar tightly. Asad tried to free his collar from her hand.
"Hmmm.." Zoya protested in her sleep. She was finding some known warmth around her and she smiled in her sleep.
As soon as Zoya protested Asad leave the matter. He wrapped his arm around her, making her closer to him, placing his cheek over her head and slept.

Zoya woke up to perform her morning prayer when she found herself in his embrace. She smiled broadly thinking she must be rolled over to his side. She shook her head and and went to washroom for ablution.

Asad woke up from his sleep. He looked at the watch, time for the prayer was almost finishing. He went for ablution in haste, took the prayer mat and placed it on the floor when he saw her. She was almost finished her prayer. He started abruptly as time was going and Zoya too finished by the time. She folded her prayer mat and went under the blanket again. Her favorite sleeping time starts now. Asad finished his prayer and looked at the bed.
"So, you also performed prayer? I did not know that" he said with an amazed tone.
There are many simple and minor things which people can not know if they passed their whole life together and here we were living in separate rooms. So how can you know this?
"Actually this is entirely your fault" Asad mumbled.
"And how it is, Mr. Khan?" Zoya asked him sarcastically. She did not like this conversation as she needed to sleep.
"Simple because you wake up late in the morning. How would I know you perform prayer in the morning also?" Asad chuckled this time. He was finding this interesting. He can sense Zoya was irritated and he loves to irritate her.
"Allah Miyan, what is wrong with you Mr. Khan. See it proves that you were so judgmental about me" Zoya barked this time. Asad opened his mouth to pay back her barking.
And with this another fight started between Mr. and Mrs. Asad Ahmed Khan, in the beginning of the day.
