On 22 October 2014, I reported a post about plagiarism and also sent a PM to the original writer to inform her that her story is copied. 2 days ago, when I was looking through my outbox, I saw the message which I had sent the original writer. Out of curiosity, in order to know whether the thread which contains the plagiarised story was closed or nor, I checked it. Much to my surprise and annoyance, I realized that the thread is still active. Two days ago, once again I reported the same post but once again, nothing is done.

If I had opened a new thread to reveal this plagiarism mentioning the member's name who stole another member's story, giving the links of both threads, I would have been blamed for targeting the guilty member. But doing the right thing by reporting the post twice also didn't give any solution.

So, I want to know why the thread who has a copied story hasn't been closed yet even after being reported twice in more than a year.

K so, all threads have been opened/moved. However, I have to continuously remind writers over and over to please comment in your threads as soon as you can! The thread will lock again [I'm not aware how long it remains open after being reopened..]. You must comment in it to keep it open.
