Chapter 2

Taani, along with her friends landed in India and was eagerly waiting for the people the college had to send to pick 'em up. It had been a hour and no one came. An agitated Taani still searched in a hope that someone might come up. But no one did. And her friends seemed to have a lot of fun. They were having fun by either scaring the fellow Indians that came there way or by splashing water on each other.

On the other hand, Rey was now leaving to pick the exchange students. However, he was unaware of the change in the flight's landing time. And he was equally unaware of the storm that was going to unfurl when he would reach the airport.

Rey parked the car and ran inside to pick up the students. He searched and wandered around. Finally, he saw a bunch of Americans and Indians standing in a corner. He ran upto them and said, " Excuse me? "
Taani who was already angry turned around a saw a handsome man as she would call him. Apparently His eyes were the best Taani had ever seen. His physique was as delicious as anything. His face .. A greek god and an Ambercombie model combined. And Rey also didn't fail to notice Taani. Long slender legs, perfect curves, her silky hair which were left open, her face and her eyes. Damn, she was the prettiest one he had ever laid eyes on.
Taani snapped out of the dream world by Alicia's fake coughing. She said, " Yes? "
He said, " Are you the exchange students? "
Taani understood that he was in charge to take 'em to the place they were gonna stay. And this infuriated her. She had been standing here for at least half and hour and this guy shows up with his face devoid of any anxious expression ! This was it.
" Listen you bas***d. How dare you? You have no idea of who I am. I'm Taani Gupta and No one.. I repeat NO ONE has the audacity to make me wait. " She vented out all her frustration she had.
On the other hand, Rey was shocked with the sudden outburst of a total unknown stranger. He then got angry with the way she spoke.
He replied, " I don't care about you or who you are. I was informed that your flight would land at 5:30 and I'm here at sharp 5:15. So technically I'm not late "
" Yes you are. And you better get your facts straight before dealing with me ". Taani replied shocked with his audacity to speak to her like that.

Rey was about to reply when Swayam called asking him whether he had met the students. He calmly replied to all his questions. After sometime, he hung up.
" I'm not here for your bullshit calls. Get me a car fast "
Taani said, still agitated with the fact that she had to wait.
" Listen-" he was cut short by Alicia.
" Hey, Mr Rey. I'm Alicia. I'm sorry if I'm interrupting but we've been here since a long time. And I don't think its the right time to fight. Can we please be shown our hotels where we're supposed to stay? "
" Of course. I'm sorry for the delay. And your friend needs to know that I reply back with the way the other person treats me. She was rude, so I was rude. You're polite so I'm polite as well "
" Whatever " Taani said picking up her bag and moving towards the car.
" This is gonna be fun " Alicia thought after considering the fact that there was at last someone who could match up with Taani's attitude.

" Bring it on, Mr Rey. Two can play this game and Taani Gupta always wins " Taani thought.

" Sure Miss Taani Gupta. Two can surely play this game. And Mind you, Reyaansh Singhnia never looses " Rey thought while driving them to the college premises.
