~ Prologue ~

| The night it all started |

The car's horn claxoned for what seemed to be the hundredth time and now I swear I am about to give the driver a nice word for honking and irritating me repeatedly .I give a last check in the mirror and head outside towards the car. The driver was busy on his phone, digging his eyes inside the screen and ,foolishly and unaware of my arrival, pressing he horn.

"Stop !! You brainless fool ! I'm here ! Now halt this session of useless blaring ! Will you ??"

My voice is sharp and thunderous, surely loud enough for him to showcase my anger. His phone slid off his trembling palm . He apologized and within the next second, he opened the door for me and I sat in.

So, now I'm heading to his college reunion : as he said it but I seriously don't know what exactly is it. Anyway, He sent his car to pick me up ?? What does that idiot think of himself ?? By god's grace I have my own riches ! If he is hosting some kind of a reunion , that doesn't mean he will have to send a transport for me !

To be pretty honest, I don't exactly know what is happening to me , is this really anger ?? or something unavoidable like some kind of a feeling so strong , that it is making me react or overreact , to be appropriate.. Shutap ! He is my enemy. Sort of -.- .

' Reyaansh Singhania '

Reyaansh and I have never been friends throughout college, you know ?!? He has always been occupied by his friends and I have been pretty happy with my own company . So, there has never been a need of talking ... we did talk but only if necessary . He was the rich brat, surrounded by girls and gossips . I was pretty much same in the starting - a rich brat, but fortunately or unfortunately I got more of sensible friends ! ;)

Considering, my phone conversation with Sharon, only girls are invited to his festivity .

I wonder what this is exactly about and why have I been invited ?

As I enter the grand hall, a big prominent welcoming board approaches. His name stood upright bold on it - seems a bit showed-off. Not to my surprise, Sharon was correct - only girls are invited, -.-

" There you are Miss. Shekhawat ! "

A well dressed man exclaimed as if he has been waiting for me to enter .

" Welcome, ma'am. Mr.Singhania informed us to guide you in reaching him. He is there, near the bar waiting for me"

Seems like he is the manager or something.

"Thank you , I'll go there by myself "

Why on Earth has he called me to meet him ? Anyway, when I reach there ..He is right in front of me looking the same even after 5 years of finishing college. Okay, I'm not gonna use that adjective. I'm not desperate -.-

" oye , Shekhawat !! You are finally here. What took you so long ? "

" Is that the only reason why your manager came to me and sent me here ?"

" Ofcourse not ."

This is quite normal. Much to my surprise. ..We start walking while we talk and I discover that this is not a reunion but a celebration of hot girls before he gets married. Now that's something strange. Knowing him , he can't love anyone and especially inviting all 'the girls' of the college under one roof evidently states that he doesn't love the person he is going to get married to.

" Why are you spoiling a girl's life ? "

" Excuse me ? "

" You don't love the girl . Do you ? "

" I don't need to be in love "

" Ofcourse you do! The unlucky innocent girl will live with a man who doesn't even love her . Are you mad or what ? "

Okay, this is overreacting. I know. But, considering the fact that the girl is Aarna, who is also a very dear friend of mine, I can't let this Casanova betray her at any point of life. She has been a supporter throughout my bad and good times. And , this man who is behaving nicely to me right now, can surely not love her !

" Why do you care? "

Now this is normal "Rey" behavior. Rude and arrogant. So much like my enemy.

"Because the girl is Aarna "

" So what ? I din't fix this knot. Dad arranged this marriage"

" Why don't you marry any of your ex's . They love you and you... Fine whateva but atleast they do ! "

" How in the world will I find them and why should I do that ? "

" I'm not letting you spoil Aaru's life , so you better do. "

" I repeat, how will I do that. I don't even know where are they ! And most importantly , if they are married or not ? "

Hell. He is right. I scan around and ..

" Many of them are here ! "
