Next morning, Arnav woke up and turned his head to the right to look at his wife who was sleeping peacefully in safe cocoon of his arms. Her head was resting in the crook of his neck as his hands were around her waist tightly.
He smiled and carefully detached himself from her, picking up his shirt and wearing it while walking towards the window. He stared outside, looking intently as a new day started with sun rising slowly, the dark clouds from the sky disappearing.
Last night, everything happened as he had expected and wanted, still it wasn't what he had wished.
No, He wasn't complaining.
He wasn't a brooding man who found faults in everything he had. He had always been content with what he had in his life- loving parents, an idiot brother who though never left a chance to tease him still looked out for his happiness, a best friend and now his wife, the love of his life.
He cannot pin-point to a reason to why he had fallen in love with Khushi but he knew he loved Khushi crazily.
May be he loved the way she smiled every time she felt happy.
May be he loved the way her eyes spoke of her innocence and naivety.
May be he loved the way she averted her eyes from him whenever she blushed.
Maybe he loved how she managed to surprise him by kissing him out of blue, by saying things to him with such a simplicity that touched his heart, by worrying for him.
May be he loved the way how she looked to her side, to assure that he is with her always.
He didn't know why but yes, he loved her crazily, BAS.
Walking back to the bed, he saw how peacefully she slept with a small smile on her lips. He bent a bit and caressed her hairs lovingly before kissing her forehead.
His love for her will be enough for both of them, always.

Buttoning his coat, Arnav descended downstairs and was shocked to find Akash sleeping on the couch, his face almost kissing the floor.
Quirking an eyebrow up, he walked towards Akash and an evil smirk adored his lips. Picking up the jug full of water from coffee table, he poured it down on Akash making him wake up with a yelp.
"Hello my dear Akash, slept well?" Arnav teased, keeping the now empty jug back on table.
Akash glared at him as he removed his now wet kurta "Saale, Payal didn't let me enter in my own room last night all thanks to you."
"Serves you right, for always jumping in between me and Khushi like a monkey. Don't blame me for it." Gesturing one of the servants to bring his coffee, Arnav replied.
"Yeah right, Payal is so angry with me. What was the need to tell her that by the way?" Akash roared, wiping excessive water from his hands.
"I didn't know she was standing right behind us, alright. Stop blaming me." Arnav replied coolly, sitting on a chair in front of Akash now.
Akash was about to retort when he noticed Arnav's attire and asked confusedly "Why are you dressed in office clothes by the way?"
"Good morning to you too, Akash. It's about time we get ready for work, remember? Unless you have decided to go all Ghajini on me today." Arnav retorted sarcastically.
Getting up, Akash walked to Arnav and ruffled his hairs making him look up and glare at him "Aww mera bhai Arnav, such a responsible person."
Satisfied after seeing his irritated expressions, Akash walked away whistling.

"Arnav beta, we have decided to send you and Khushi to Mauritius for your honeymoon after 3 days." Arnav's mother informed as everyone settled down for breakfast.
Arnav looked up surprised, eating his breakfast and nodded in assent at his parents before turning to look at Khushi who right now was sitting beside Payal, opposite to him.
He didn't miss how she stilled the moment his mother talked about their honeymoon and how she refused to look at him now. He smirked before his gaze went to Akash and Payal. Akash was trying his best to make Payal look at him but she kept looking down.
He didn't like seeing Payal upset and sad.
"Dude, buy some flowers and a sorry card for her. Take her out on dinner tonight. She will forgive you." Arnav whispered to Akash, making him sigh.
"Thanks Yaar. But this time, I will do something for her on my own." Akash whispered back making Arnav smile and nod. Atleast, his brother is trying. Arnav knew that no matter how big prankster Akash is, he loved Payal immensely.
Arnav again looked back at Khushi, who now was staring at him. He quirked his eyebrow up silently in challenge making Khushi square her shoulders and look back at him in proud.
It's going to be fun, he concluded as he rose from his seat and left from there quickly bidding everyone bye, with Khushi following him silently.
"So Khushi, are you ready to go Mauritius with me ALONE?" He asked with a wicked expression on his face, stressing on the word 'alone'.
"Yeah what's so special about it, Arnavji?" Khushi looked confused.
"Really? Imagine only you and I will be there with no interruptions?" Arnav said mysteriously in a dreamy voice.
"So?"
"If I would have been at your place, I would have looked a bit scared." Arnav scanned Khushi from head to toe shamelessly making Khushi gulp. What was he trying to imply anyway?
"See you in the evening." Pecking her cheek, Arnav went away with a triumphant smile on his face leaving a nervous-looking Khushi behind.

Later that evening, Khushi sat quietly in her room lost in her own thoughts. She was going on her honeymoon in 3 days. Was she scared?
Hell yes, because truth to be told, she never had been out of Delhi much. She always kept close to her mother and wherever she went, mostly her friends or her mother accompanied her.
It wasn't like she was scared of Arnav or something but she knew what this trip meant to her. After marriage, the newly married couple go on their honeymoon to get to know each other and to connect to each other's feelings better.
What if in the process of knowing each other better, they get to know how different their choices are from each other?
What if this trip made them think that they aren't as compatible and perfect couple as others think them to be?
What if her point of view isn't favoured by Arnav?
What if Arnav's point of view for everything isn't liked by her?
Agreed love is an important aspect but when it comes to marriage - understanding, compatibility, trust and support between each other was needed as well with husband and wife knowing each other's point of view over every aspect of life.
Rubbing her hands over her face, Khushi thought grimly that it was all very complicated for her. Her mother had told her that after her marriage, everything is going to change.
But had she managed to keep up with all these changes? She didn't know. Closing her eyes, she remembered her mother. Her mother was always there for her, helping her when she faced any trouble.
I miss you Amma, she whispered remembering all the sweet memories that she associated with her mother. As much as she wanted to just call her mother and tell her everything, she knew she couldn't just do that.
It is her life now and she alone needs to deal with the issues related to her married life. There is no way that her mother will always be there to help her. She needs to figure out everything on her own.
"Yeah I am on my way."
Khushi looked up at the door and frowned. It was Arnav's voice. She turned to look at the clock and found it's already 4 pm. But it was still early for Arnav to return home.
She stood up as the next moment Arnav came in, busy in talking to someone on phone. He looked tensed.
He entered in their room and walked to the closet as if he didn't saw Khushi standing in front of him. Sliding the closet door open, he took out a small suitcase and opened it quickly.
"Yeah, I have kept those files on my desk. Get them. We will need them for this."
He picked his 2-3 suits and dumped them in the suitcase. He was trying to put them neatly when Khushi who till now was looking at him stupefied, walked towards him and stopped him.
He looked on as Khushi started folding his clothes neatly before keeping them in the suitcase. He watched how she put some casual wears in it as well.
"Yeah, meet you at the airport." Arnav concluded the conversation, disconnecting the call already.
Throwing the phone on bed, he took off his coat and shirt to change into a casual blue shirt and black denim jeans.
He was about the button the shirt when Khushi came, taking over the task from him "Going somewhere?"
"Actually yes, some problem has cropped up at the Mumbai branch of AR. Employees are on strike and have created a ruckus. I need to go there before it gets worse." Arnav informed, finally allowing his body to relax a bit.
"Are you going alone?" Khushi questioned, gripping his shirt tightly looking concerned.
"Akash and Aman will be there as well, Khushi. In fact, Akash is just packing his stuff right now. We will leave for the airport together." Arnav replied in a calm voice.
"When will you come back?" Khushi asked desperately.
"I don't know may be in 1-2 days. But I will be back soon before you start missing me." Arnav smiled, keeping his hands on her waist.
Pulling her closer, he kissed her before picking his suitcase from bed and exiting the room. Looking worried, Khushi followed him and saw Akash waiting for Arnav downstairs.
They both left together in a car leaving a worried Khushi and sad Payal behind. As Arnav glanced back at her for the last time before the car went out their sight, Khushi stepped back before running back to her room.
What Arnav didn't know was that she was missing him already, the honeymoon worries already forgotten.
So this is it for now. If anyone is thinking that I will take the story the same old, usual way now, then you are mistaken.
In case if anyone hasn't understood the Ghajini dialogue, Ghajini is a movie in which the lead character remembers everything for 15 minutes only. Arnav was mocking Akash, comparing him to the lead character.
