We know my exams are starting from tomorrow and we're here writing an OS.
We meaning me (Shelly_arsha) and Ishana (Kriyaanshfreva). but this was already planned so posting it today, Enjoy;
The rehearsal hall was echoed with music. Swayam led himself to the hall only to discover rey dancing which displayed agony and pain. Interupting his dance, swayam went in. He held rey and consoled him. Rey hugged swayam crying his heart out. once rey calmed down, Swayam notified him that taani wanted him to attend her engagement.
"Swayam tu jaanta hai na, i can't"
"you have to move on rey, u have to"
"Waqt k saath i will, lekin i can't attend the engagement. Apne zakhmon ko aur nai kholna chahta"
"Taani khush hogi tujhe dekh kar"
"I'm sorry swayam, lekin Agar meri khushi mein uski khushi hoti, toh she'd never go ahead with this engagement."
"I can't say about that rey, all i know is she wants u to come."
Swayam told and left the place, leaving a lost rey behind. Rey fell on his knees unable to stand any longer. He felt he was all alone despite having everyone on his side.
"God! Ye mere saath hi kyun hota hai? why is it that.. humesha mera hi pyar adhoora reh jaata hai, W..Why can't i experience true love which will stay beside me chahiye kuch bhi ho? why do i always lose in love? Tell me god Why?"
Rey was broken! He really wished someone Was there to love him. Only him.
what had destiny stored for him, he had no clue. But he really wanted the "Perfect Life partner"

On the other hand , at some corner in dehradun , a girl was packing her luggage in her room , lost in some thoughts.
"Chodkar chali gayi thi tum sab ko , khudh hi nahi jaanti ki yeh ded (1 and a half years) saal kaise bitaye hain maine tum sabke bina , apne dance ke bina , aur apne dil ke bina. Rey mein nahi jaanti ki aap aage bade ho ki nahi , agar aap move on kar chuke ho toh mein khush hongi kyunki mein wahi chahti thi , i would be a little upset , but then if the girl gives you the happiness you deserve i would be happy."
Her chain of thoughts were broken by her mother's voice.
"Kria , dinner ke liye aa jaa sweetheart!"
"Haan maa! Mein aayi."
Kria closed her bag , and came out.
"Phir wahi jacket , kria tere paas bahot jackets hain woh bhi ladkiyon waali." "Mom this is fine."
"Uss shirtless wonder ki jacket hain na?"
Kria nods.
"Kria , teri flight kal noon mein hain. Fine?"
"Kay mom"
"and ye ke ghar ka address"
"mom chill mujhe yaad hai"
Kriya Had her dinner and left the dinning room. She Went back to her room and took off the jacket. Hugging it, she cried. It was the same jacket he had put around her after shivam's party. She still remembered their walks, their talks, the butterfly kiss, how rey held her hand, how he covered her from everyones gaze beneath his jacket. She sighed. She loved every moment, but now it had all changed. It won't be the same, not the same rey, not the same kriya and not the same situation. He was bound to move on, after all she had left him Giving him a real heartbreak. Wondering upon her thoughts; She fell asleep.

Rey was still in a dilemma whether to Attend taani's engagement or not. Although He wanted to go see the jerk that taani had willingly decided to get engaged to, he also wanted to refrain himself from attending. He thought upon His best friend sharons words "This is my only chance with swayam, please maan jao". His friend had seen so much pain and knowing even she was experiencing the pain off love; he didn't want to deny. He could never see his friends in pain, especially sharon. He sighed. He had already agreed to Sharon, But was he ready?
After a lot of thinking , he had finally decided to attend the engagement. He remembered telling sharon about his decision and she was more than happy. She hugged rey in joy. He recalled what she said
"Thank you so much rey! And yes everything's going to be fine."
"Easier said then done sharon."
"Rey , trust me."
"Why do i always fail in love sharon? Am i so bad? Don't i deserve to be happy?"
"You deserve love rey , and who said you are bad , it's just that somewhere your perfect match is waiting for you. Maybe she was your earlier love , or maybe someone new."
"Ya right!"
He brushed off her words lightly not paying much attention to them.

It was already the next day. Kria sat in the plane , she closed her eyes , her stomach had butterflies flying. She was scared not sure about how the gang is going to react after seeing her? In a few hours , she was going to return to the city of dreams , where her dream was crushed badly. She had collected the broken pieces and was going to bring them together again. But was she really that strong that she could do that all alone? She didn't know. All she knew is that the things would never be the same again for her atleast. She closed her eye's hoping everything would turn out good.

The college was the same as before but to rey, it felt lonely. he walked alone in the corridor , he was so lost that he did not realize the gang was following him. He walked aimlessly and suddenly , he banged with a girl. She fell down along with her files as well.
"I am so sorry."
The girl looked up in shock hearing his voice . He forwarded his hand to her and then saw her face. He went numb. She was none other than kria , their shocked eye lock was broken by the gang.
"KRIA!"
All shouted except aashi who did not know who she was. Kria got up collecting her files , she was dead scared seeing them. She had joined the college a day back and the gang was not there then , she had thanked her universji for that. The gang stared at her in shock . Even rey was.
"H-hi."
Swayam looked at rey who was already hurt and moreover kriya was back. Swayam moved forward with anger visible on his face but instead sharon stopped him. Before anyone could say anything nil spoke
"Tum yahan kya kar rhi ho, humee toh chor k challi gayi thi na.. And especially rey ko toh phir? Uski khushi nai dekhi jaati?"
"Nil stop it!"
"Sharon, tum ye keh rhi ho? really?"
"Vicky! guys bas! Koi rey ka bhi socho!"
"Lekin swayam rey hai kahan?"
Aashi finally spoke. kriya was crying, tears made their way out.
Swayam left from there in search off rey followed by the rest off the gang. Kriya was on her knees crying, Sharon stayed and stared at her for a good while. She felt sorry for her and bent down to her knee level.
"K..Kriya"
Kriya stared at sharon , she wiped her tears .
"Are you fine kria?"
Kriya nods , looking down.
"You don't seem to be fine."
"I am meeting my best friend after 1 and a half years , and he did not bother to even look at me , my two friends ignored me , yes i am fine!"
"Kria. You can go and speak to him right?"
"Easier said then done."
Sharon could not help but smile , kriyaansh had given the same dialogue for different situations , if kria had not ditched rey , she would have gladly decided to bring them together. And suddenly the realization struck her.
"You ditched my best friend , and i am here to speak to you even though i am your enemy , of course swayam will understand you kria , he is your best friend."
"I did not ditch rey!"
"Huh?"
"Nothing."
She got up and went away , leaving a dumbfounded sharon , who was trying to decipher what she meant and she knew she had failed miserably.

Swayam saw sitting rey in the fire escape , he was broken.
"Rey?"
"Look at the irony dude , i was just retrieving from the shock of the girl i love getting engaged , when all of a sudden my past comes back , the past which i had kept away from my thoughts , how should i react?"
"Rey , do you really think kria tujhe ditch kar sakti hain?"
"Of course not dude! But i have moved on dude."
"Haan toh at least speak to her!"
"Did you speak to her swayam? She was your best friend right?"
"I will , speak to her. But yes , promise me one thing , you won't be rude to her."
"I promise , but abhi i guess she needs her best friend. And yeah i want to stay alone for some time."
"Take your time."

Kriya roamed around in the rehearsal hall. This place had bought back so many memories. The Amount off dances they had as a group or as a couple in this hall was uncountable.
Kriya carresed each object remembering the moments as a lone tear escaped her eye. Her chain off thoughts were broken by swayams coughing to alert her. She turned around and stiffened seeing her best friend. She knew what was coming. Swayam stepped forward towards her. He raised her hand but stopped in between as kriya looked away from the slap. Swayam instead took her in a tight hug.
"Pagal kahin ki, apne best friends ko aisey chor k jaatey hai kya?!"
"Swayam.. Im sorry!"
Swayam pulled back.
"kriya, I'm not gunna say k mein tujhse ghussa nai hoon because voh toh mein ab bhi hoon. Mera mann kar reh k tujhe zor ka thappad maaroon par phir tu ab bhi meri best friend hai, aur apni bestie ko dukh pochao.. Naa"
"Swayam, mein majboor thi"
"Aisey bhi kya majboori kriya k tu mujh tak nai bataa payi"
Kriya sighed and told him the whole story up til date. Swayam's eyes filled with tears till the end off it. Kriya had broken down remembering the times. She fell on he knees. Swayam also bent towards her and cupped her face. "Im really sorry, Really very sorry kriya". Kriya hugged him tight making herself feel light. Both had their emotional moment until swaym spoke wiping kriyas tears.
"Acha rona dona band. ab tu agayi hai na.. We'll make sure we set things right, Promise me u'll always smile"
"Promise"
Kriya shook his hand and turned to leave when again she heard swayam call
"Kriya, Do check the fire exit once"
Kriya understood what he meant and gave a slight smile. She sighed and left.

Reaching the fire exit door; she was confused whether to go in or not. Taking a deep breath; she opened the door. She saw Rey sitting on the stairs with his back towards her. Kriya slowly went and sat beside him. None off them spoke for a while, the awkwardness was clearly being sensed. Breaking the silence rey spoke.
"And we meet again, After a whole 1 and a half years"'
kriya sensed the hurt in his voice. She felt like crying and hugging him tight.
"Rey.."
"It's strange na? When i had moved on from one the other too left me and when she left ur back aswel"
"Rey.. Im sorry.. I"
"Sorry, Just a 5 letter word. You know i've heard this word many times for little little things but never did they mean it"
"But I do rey, I do.. I'm actually sorry! Aapko nai patta meri kya majboori thi"
"Kya thi? Something which i couldn't understand"
"Rey Mom ne.."
Kriya told from the day off india fest and how she rejected him due to the promise given to her mom. She told she had chosen her friends over rey and how bad she hd felt. Both were crying badly by the end off it. Rey unable to control any more hugged her tight. "I'm reAlly sorry rey" Kriya spoke and hugged him equally.
"I'm sorry kriya, meine tumhe kabhi samjha hi nai.. Ek baar toh mujhe batati.. Sorry"
Rey broke the hug and cupped her face. They had a deep eyelock but then realisation struck him. He had moved on. What was he doing? He loved taani now, Not kriya. He got up and turnee his back towards her.
"Rey.. Can we give ourself another chance? please?"
Rey sighed and turned
"If ur another chance means being friends then yeah we deffinately can, lekin i have moved on kriya. I love only taani, she's engaged now but that doesn't mean i stop trying. I'm sorry lekin i really love taani."
Kriya's face went down. She had expected rey to hug her tight and never let her go after knowing the truth but here it was the opposite.
"Challo.. Friends then i guess, Better friends than not speaking."
Rey smiled thinking she had understood him. They both shook hands as a lone tear escaped kriya's eyes.
