Here I come back with the next part...I hope i do enough justice to this part...coz its an important part of the story...
hope I wont disapoint my readers...the parts in italics are flashback stories...
Chapter 5C:
'Sapna Arora,love of my life'
'love of my life is my work,ho gaya ab mein khana khalu?',sameer said to an angry roshni. Roshni looked towards arjun,who was having a tough time controlling his laughter.
'sameer tumhe pyar se itna problem kiyu hai?',roshni asked sameer sitting down on the chair facing him.
'mujhe pyar se koi problem nehi hai meri ma,ab mein khana kha lu?'
'nehi,meri baat suno,tamanna achi larki hai,aur tumhe pasand bhi karti hai,aur tum bhi to kitna baat kar rahe the uske saat us din,ek bar uske bare mein socho to sahi'
'roshni us din party mein,mein usse nehi wo mujhse baat kare ja rahi thi,kitni chipku hai yaar,kitna loud make up karke ayi thi,mujhe to daar lag raha tha usse,kahi mera rape na kar de wo,plz yaar arjun apni biwi ko samjha na kab se mere piche shadi nam ka jhanda leke par gayi hai,mujhe ye third degree torture nehi sehena'
'aa roshni sam ne ..'
'chup raho tum arjun,tum mere side pe ho sam ke nehi samjhe ya mein dubara samjhau?'
'aur tum sameer,pyar torture hota hai?'
'nehi to kiya,arjun ko dekho,bechara,sher se chuha ban gaya hai'
'acha,to nikal jao mere ghar se,abhi isi waqt,khane ko hath mat lagana,nikal jao'
'rawte kiya hua?',Rathore's voice brought back arjun to present.Rathore was sitting silently on the sofa,when he found arjun smiling,he somehow guessed what he might be remembering and called him to get back.
'Sapna Arora kaun hai?aur tum use kaise jante ho?'
After some more moments of silence,Rathore started,
'Sapna se mein Goa mein mila tha,8 saal pehele.ek racing competition ke silsile mein gaya tha waha.I had stayed there more than a month jis daouran hamari mulakat hui.'
It was on the day of the race.Sameer had dressed up and was waiting for the race to start When a glimse of red caught his eye from the crowd.He looked towards the direction and found her there.Smiling and cheering for someone.There he was again lost in her beauty and kept staring at her.Feeling someone staring at her made her look towards him and then their eyes met.But then the announcement started and he had to get into the car.Before getting in he looked back she was still there looking at him,as if meeting his lucky charm sameer sat inside the car smiling.
The race started.The competion was tough but sameer was tougher and offcourse his lady luck had stood by him and he came the winner and bagged in the best racer prize.Everyone was coming over to congratulate him,his friend was already planning about the party at night but sameer's eyes were looking for only one pair of eyes.And he found them towards the end of the crowd,trying to convince the other racer who was dissapointed at his defeat. But she was not successful and thus the man left her alone and went away.Sameer didnt know when he had walked over to her,her face showed sadness and had lost its charm.Sameer introduced himself and she congratulated him.
'thanks,i know i should not ask but any problem,you look sad?'
'ah nothing.Just someone has to lose for someone to win.but the fact is,no one likes losing'
'hmm,I see your partner is too much dissapointed,he left you all alone here'
'Nothing as such Mr Rathore,he is just a bit upset,and he didnt leave me here,I have some other works so ill get late'
'ohh really??but I dont think so'
'what do u mean?'
'If you had some urgent work you would be in a hurry,check your watch every few minutes,wont talk with a stranger so calmly'
Feeling embarassed about her lie,she bit her lips and smiled.Oh, he could have died a thousand deaths for that one smile,how he had missed it,in these few hours.
'So,let me drop you home.'
'its ok.I would prefer going alone.thanks'
'then a coffee,or even beer will do if u insist'
'I dont drink',she said angrily and started walking away
'were u waiting for your man at the roxy pub with a beer bottle in hand,even had to fight for that bottle?what a lucky man he is'
Shock would be an understatement.She turned back,eyes wide 'so it was you?'
'great you were really in your senses.I am impressed lady,what say then roxy pub?'sameer winked
'no i guess coffee will do',she said simling
So, decided both of them had walked their way to the road and then went to a coffee shop.while they waited for their coffee,she received a call,she walked outside and completed the call.
'I wont be killed I hope' sameer said when she had settled with her coffee
'why would you be killed?'
'well,taking someone's girl out on a coffee is a crime you know,specially for a jealousy stricken man'
'Ravi is not at all like that.He trusts me more than himself,and he allows me to lead my life my way'
'And what about you?do you trust him so much?'
Her features stiffened and she looked into his eyes.He saw those calm eyes for the first time looking at him surprised as if he has guessed its secret.She moved in her seat and forced a 'YES I trust him'
Sameer smiled at her gesture to hide her little secret which remain open in front,unknown to her.But it was sameer who was being decieved all these while and he didnt have the least idea about it.After Coffee,she took a cab,bid him good bye and zoomed out
The conversations at the coffee shop continously playing in his mind,he had slept that night. Next day again sameer had met her in the market and had come to know her name,Sapna Arora,what a pleasant name.Sapna, his best dream. Gradually within a few days their friendship increased and so did their meetings,calls,outings.
On such a day,she had come to meet him very upset,a tear stricken face giving aways something is really wrong.
Later Sameer had come to know that she had broken up with ravi coz he thinks she has fallen for sameer.
'and what do you think?',sameer asked tensed,
Surprised at his sudden question she kept her silence for some time.
'I think he is right',she said,blusing and lowering her eyes
That was it.Sameer was in euphoria.He had held her hand in excitement and was almost ready to propose when he remembered he doesnt have a ring.Also he wanted to make it special for her,so special that she remembers all her life.He composed himself and allowed the matter to rest.She was a bit confused with sameer's behaiviour but didnt speak about it.
Day after that day was sapna's birthday and sameer had planned to propose her officially on that day.He had bought a beautiful ring for her and had arranged for a dinner.All arrangements done,he had asked her to come to the place at 7.He had gone there half an hour earlier and checked into all the arrangements.He waited for her outside.It was 7,she didnt come,he waited for sometime and called her,her phone was unreachable.He waited there for her all night but she didnt come.Keeping the ring in his wallet he had roamed about the whole place,but couldnot find her.He went to the pub,the racing area,the market,the coffee shop,bus stands,stations she was no where.He waited for another week but still no trace of her.She had vanished suddenly.
Atlast he had to make his way back home.Every inch of his heart wanted him to stay and wait for her but he couldnt.He went back home lonely,broken and lost.Two days after he reached home there was news about a terrorist attack at goa killed thousands of people and the one caught was none other than Ravi,who was also killed on his way towards the court later.
Arjun put a hand on sameer's shoulders which brought him back to present.He took out his wallet and from there the ring he had bought for her 8 years back.He had kept that with him,the testimony of his broken dreams.
