Sorry for the delay. People who follow my SS 'Finding Solace' read the note about my exams. The other thing is that I've got a stye, which is not helping at all. Yesterday, I felt so exhausted and sleepy in the exam hall. So, again, my exams finish on 8th of April, but I'm going to try updating during them.
I enjoyed the different reviews for the previous update. Some of you find Khushi's reaction justifiable while others do not like it. Well, I hope this chapter answers some of your questions. Your comments are really encouraging. Thank you for being supportive just like Arnavji.

Love
"I'm sorry. I did not spare you from my accusation and I know that I should not have said that, but it is still shocking me." Khushi hugged Arnav as she apologized for her mistake. She rested her head over his heart seeking its assurances, warmth, peace and love. She felt home.
As Khushi had got some time while having a shower, she had thought over the blunder she had done. No matter what distress she had been in, she should not have said that. "In this room, with you, in your arms, I feel home...I feel peace unlike what I've felt when I visited my parents. Even my old room could not give me what your presence does. with many realizations today, my mind could not function rationally, that's why I mentioned your name."
"Really?" Arnav pulled back a little and held her chin, so that she looked at him in the eyes. Her words reassured him a big time.
"This is overwhelming."
"I know." He moved closer to her while Khushi closed her eyes in anticipation. Although Khushi knew what Arnav was going to do, she could not help but whisper, "Kiss me." Arnav's lips captured hers in a hungry kiss. Putting a hand on her waist and the other on her nape, Arnav pulled Khushi closer to him, feeling her thigh to thigh, hip to hip and chest to chest.
_______
"Hello, Payal," Khushi said with a grin and sat on the vacant chair next to a slightly surprised Payal. Akaash had called her last night and told her about Khushi's outburst.
"Hi, Khushi." Payal smiled.
"I'm really sorry, Payal. I should have listened to you," Khushi took Payal's hands in hers, "it's just that I was mad at you for not telling me, your best friend, about your relationship with Akaashji,"Khushi explained.
"I know that I should have told you earlier considering that we don't hide anything from each other, and you always update me about you and jiju, but..."
"But what, Payal?" Khushi narrowed her eyes.
Letting out a deep sigh, Payal replied, "My relationship with Akaash started when your relationship with jiju was at a critical point, so I did not have the heart to tell you about a blossoming relationship when your life was not at a good phase, Khushi."
"Pagli," Khushi pulled Payal for a hug, "did you think that I would not feel happy for you? Oh, Payal. It seems that everyone thinks before taking a step excluding me. Each time I think that I'm doing well, I screw up." Khushi sighed on Payal's shoulder.
"What happened? Is everything ok with you and jiju?" Payal pulled back with panic.
A hand on her waist, and the other cupping her face.
His left leg between her legs, and mouth on her neck.
His heartbeats dancing on a rhythm with hers.
That's how Khushi's morning had started.
"Arnavji is such an amazing man. I'm so lucky to be his wife. It's me who does not act rationally sometimes. But, don't worry, we're fine," She gave Payal an assuring smile before asking, "now tell me everything about you Akaash since we have half an hour before the class, or does the epic love story need a long time?" Khushi teased making Payal blush.
"You can't imagine how happy I am for both of you."
"I thought that Akaash already told you."
"Well, he told me 'basics'. Maybe because Arnav was present or he could not fully open up to us. Anyways, I'm sure it's better to hear it from you."
With an adorable blushing face, Payal started telling Khushi about her and Akaash. "We have been introduced at your wedding ceremonies, but it seems that we have been careful. However, I met him twice after your marriage in your in-law's house. He has offered me a drive in the second time and I could not refuse for both of us had already realized the pull that draws us together. We've exchanged numbers and recently we've gone out together many times."
"You are happy, aren't you?"
"I am so happy, Khushi. He makes me feel special." Payal heaved a dreamy sigh.
"Akaash is a great guy. I'm sure he is going to keep you happy, always." Giving Payal a wide grin, Khushi stood up and Payal did so; they headed to the class room.
________
"What should I do now?" A helpless Akaash asked an amused Arnav.
Shaking his head, Arnav answered freaking the poor Akaash out, "I don't know. It's so difficult to pacify your Bhabi. And well she thinks that you deserve this, so good luck." Arnav suppressed a laughter seeing Akaash's horrified expression.
"I think I'll let Payal manage her and that's it."
"Uh-hu. That would upset her all the more, lover boy." Arnav chuckled mentally.
"Then what should I do, Bhai?" Akaash was surprised to hear a roar of laughter as a response. Arnav could not continue with frightening his brother anymore.
"Take it easy. Khushi has already forgiven you, but that does not mean that she is completely content. Just be yourself and Khushi will appreciate it." Arnav smiled as his eyes focused on his laptop at the mention of his wife.
"You think so?" Akaash sought an assurance.
"Yes. Now you need to focus on meeting we're having after an hour."
"Sure, Bhai. Thanks." With a hopeful smile, Akaash left Arnav's cabin. I should not have taken our friendship for granted especially that Payal is Bhabi's best friend and cousin. I'll just let her know that her friendship means a lot to me. Akaash concluded as he opened his laptop with a time-for-work spirit.
________
Arnav was welcomed with an adorable look of confusion on Khushi's face. She was sitting on their bed, with a book and two notebooks around her, and a pen in her right hand. Arnav wanted to kiss her confusion away.
"Good evening." Arnav put his laptop bag on the recliner before standing in front of Khushi. He bent down to kiss her cheeks as she whispered a 'good evening'.
"How was your day?" Khushi asked with a big smile.
"Good and yours?" Arnav sat on the bed to remove his shoes, then he took off his coat and tie before undoing the first two button's of his shirt.
"The best thing is that I and Payal chatted a lot as if we haven't seen each other in a long time. Otherwise, it was ok considering the amount of assignments we're attacked with. I swear, teachers never get fed up with ordering. They love bossing around."
Arnav chuckled softly hearing Khushi's complains, "So all is good between you and Payal?"
"Yes." Khushi smiled brightly. She stared at Arnav's back with appreciation for the handsome picture he made, as he stood in front of the wardrobe. Khushi walked up to him and placed his hands on his back massaging it.
"Are you tired?"
"Kind of." Arnav's body relaxed against her touch. He closed his eyes giving in to the warmth her hands were granting.
"Come." Khushi took Arnav's wrist in her hands and made him sit on the recliner after putting the laptop bag on the coffee table. After that, Khushi resumed massaging Arnav's back and shoulders.
"Hmmm. This feels heaven." Arnav sighed in contentment and relaxation. Khushi smiled hearing his whisper. Khushi leaned further as she massaged Arnav's trapezius muscle to be welcomed with a view of Arnav's chest. The first two buttons were open, so standing behind Arnav gave Khushi a full view. Her body's reaction surprised Khushi. Just a glimpse and her hormones are activated. Khushi bit her lips and closed her eyes as she felt the sensation down to her toes. His scent intoxicating her whole system.
Arnav felt Khushi's touch altering, as if they turned to be seductive. "Khushi," he whispered her name.
"Hmmm." Khushi sounded lost to Arnav's ears. He turned around and gently grabbed her arms bringing her on top of him as he laid on the recliner.
"You were enjoying the sweet torture, weren't you?" Arnav smirked. Khushi could not comprehend his words; too busy staring at his lips. She wet her dry lips, and looked in Arnav's eyes to see a reflection of her desires there. Their breaths mingled, and chests collided each time one of them inhaled a breath. The distance between their lips ceased to exist as Khushi's quivering lips kissed Arnav's. Arnav let Khushi take the lead and decide the pace of their slow kiss, knowing that she needs to be comfortable in their growing physical relationship. Parting for air, Khushi dropped soft kisses on Arnav's jaw, neck and collarbone.
As Khushi rested her head on Arnav's chest, she was surprised to feel only shy and not embarrassed. She felt secure and cherished in the confines of his warm arms when a need startled her with its intensity; a need to vocalize her emotions, a need to name her feelings, a need to let him know how much he means to her. Looking up at his beautiful caramel orbs, Khushi's eyes spoke before her lips.
