I first typed in this comment and did not read anything else apart from the chapter itself! So the comment stands genuine! 😳
Maaf kardo! Kabhi Kabhi der ho jati hai, lekin aana toh yehi hai! 😳
My thoughts on Chapter 18:
I missed Akash! I really did! And the guy seems his flirtatious best! Only that he is smitten by Payal now! Love is in the air, it seems! Yes, I truly did miss all his fun and free outgoing nature! He is a refreshing one! I knew he was reserved for PalPal! We all did, didn't we?
Confessions! *sigh* Just how much courage and boosting does one require to tell one that he has feelings for the other? Yes, matters of the heart are complicated indeed! And that includes chickening out!
Payal is a very sturdy and introvert character and yes, she does dodge off Akash's hints towards her! Payal's immediate stiffening as soon as she saw Akash and Khushi made me sigh deeply! Why, oh why, does she not claim to love Akash?!
Yes, it is difficult for her to believe in True Love and Happily Ever Afters. (Your title, quite the irony!) How could a person see something in a positive ray of light when you've been abandoned and betrayed right at the beginning of your life, moments after you were born? It may be easy to say to have a positive outlook at life, but in reality, very few are able to trust their positive instincts and move forward with it. Others move on, but somewhere there they keep staggering back. And that is when they say, life is incomplete. I feel for Payal!
And yes there are moments when friends go overboard where they fail to distinguish if they've made the other person uncomfortable, and those are especially for ground-firm serious people like Payal. Payal is easy and then at the same time, an introvert. I've seen many like her! Hell! I can relate to her character!
Oh, and please remind me about the status of Anya and Aman?! :P
And now moving to the second half of the chapter - the most awaited one! Arnav! Yes, three years is a short time to forget someone, especially when you know that a week with her had been a roller coaster one!
The guy has been evading all possibilities of bumping into Khushi and feeling restless all the same! And just like Khushi, every other thing reminds him of Khushi! *sigh*
Sandhya Di, you make me feel all nostalgic now! It does feel ages I've visited DND! I've probably passed those 26,280 hours that they've spent ever since that fateful night!
And he still lives with the guilt of having hurt her, to this day! And he still hasn't forgiven himself! Life has, indeed, cruel ways of playing games!
Sandhya Di, I've been late in commenting! But know that you're awesome, yeah?!
P.S: Oh I loved Fisherman's Cove! I am definitely making a visit to the place, in the future that is!
