Part13 - Angry bird Khushi..lovely. I loved her comebacks and when he said something romantic she was actually speechless. Aww.. Arnav & Khushi.. ❤️

Part14 - True!! For KKGSR nothing is impossible. She has made him weak in his knees in the past, has healed his wounded heart, made him believe in love and marriage. Aww.. I love these random dabbles so much. A ArHi-ish argument over a hair style!! Only you can think of it.
Lovely and cute!! 😳

I LOVE random, don't you know that? 😃 And drabbles are supposed to be random, so chill!

It's amazing how I can't help but grin mischievously even before I start reading what you've written as if I'm unwrapping some huge gift...that wasn't addressed to me! 😆

You know what else is amazing? The fact that you can turn the most boring, mundane and unattractive activities into something so lovely that has your readers turn into grinning+giggling fools 😆 Thank you thank you thank you!!! I was not in the best of my moods and you managed to very effectively change that! You're the best! 🤗

I have a favourite line here, apart from the last one -

but the majority of her silken locks were, in a miraculous, gravity-defying feat, wrapped into a loose bun- all held together with one long, slender hair-pin.

@bold 🤣 I mean, seriously, Arnav? 😆

Brace yourselves for my stupidest Drabble till date. I kid you not.

Ambiguous time-line/universe.

ArHi Drabble |Extra-Terrestrial|

Khushi had a hypothesis.

After much observation and study in the days she spent visiting Shantivan, usually at Anjali's request for company, she had come to the hypothesis that Arnav Singh Raizada was not human.

Determined to go about this scientifically, she attempted to gather evidence to support her theory.

She tried to get him to yawn.

Every opportunity she had, every time the two found themselves in the same space, she would subject herself to the most enormous yawn she could muster. It was common knowledge, after all, that if one person started yawning it could easily set off a chain reaction of yawns in others.

After several failed attempts, her test subject flatly told her to keep her mouth shut, or whatever remained of her brain would spill out.

Undeterred, she moved on to the next stage.

She tried to make him sneeze.

Aside from one occasion when he had sneezed (at the same time as her, no less) as she had sat at his dining-table, she had never again seen him sneeze. Since a good researcher never bases their findings on one isolated case, she determined to conduct experiments to gather enough data to see if the trend was recurring.

However, even though he had been sitting with his back to her, he managed to catch her without even looking over his shoulder as she tried to sneak up behind him, her tool (a feather) in hand.

This bred the suspicion that he had eyes at the back of his head, and she spent a week sticking her tongue out at him from behind to test it, stopping only when he threatened to cello-tape her mouth.

But Khushi was too stubborn to give up yet. Aside from yawning and sneezing, there were a fair amount of other human-like, involuntary reflexive reactions she had never seen displayed by her test subject.

After much deliberation (and sitting in Buaji's living-room in the dead of night thinking about her next course of action) she decided that "snoring" or "sleep-talking" were legitimate criteria.

This might or might not have had anything to do with the constant stream of rumbling and snorting issuing from Buaji's room, loud even from behind her closed door.

However, this phase in her research was more difficult to achieve. Since she only had access to Shantivan in the day, it was highly unlikely that she would ever catch her test subject in the appropriate state of physical repose needed for her next experiment. She even contemplated dosing him with sleep medication, but had to reject the idea when she considered that if she did that he would probably not be capable of snoring or sleep-talking anyway.

Just as she was thinking of playing a collection of lullabies whilst he sat working by the poolside, however, he caught her again.

She really needed to find out if he had eyes at the back of his head.

This time, he demanded to know exactly what she was doing. When she feigned ignorance, he arrogantly listed down all the times he had caught her watching him covertly, sneaking into the same room as him, messing around with his things, or just staring.

He even had the gall to insinuate she was infatuated with him.

Confronted by such a scandalous and smug indictment, Khushi was sufficiently agitated to blurt out the real reason behind her perfectly justifiable actions.

She told him she thought he was an alien.

After staring at her for a long, long time, her test subject burst out laughing.

Uncontrollably.

He was literally shaking with his mirth. Even clapping his hand over his mouth or biting into his lip, both highly uncharacteristic and desperate measures, were not enough to control his helpless chuckling.

And as Khushi watched him, not completely conscious of the reaction this unexpected phenomenon was having on her- namely, an indescribable fluttering sensation in her chest, a twitching of her lip and the pinking of her face- she was forced to surmise that the maroon-flushed, visibly agitated Arnav Singh Raizada, wheezing for breath in between his streams of laughter, was, at least a little bit human.

Thank You for reading! This is so silly I honestly wonder if I've lost it by now :P

Ah well...

Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments and feedback on these drabbles, regardless of how totally random they are! :D I really, REALLY appreciate it :)
