Part 5

Its morning and shlok reached his office and sees astha there in his cabin...

She has cleaned up his cabin and neatened it.. arranged his cupboards and shelves and nicely set up his table with a vase of yellow flowers and all his things in place..

Shlok runs into the office building as it is raining.. he is wearing a navy blue shirt and black trousers.. he dries his hair using his hand..

And starts walking to his cabin,.. he sees astha setting up the flowers in the vase standing by his cabin glass wall and its raining in the background..

Astha is dressed in a white salwar kameez with her hair open and the dupatta around her neck... very subtle jewellery with just a simple bangle and pearl studs and nothing in her neck..

Shlok stands near the blinds and keeps looking at her.. gosh she looks simple and beautiful.. and wonders what has happened to her in all these years..

Suddenly astha sees shlok standing outside.. she keeps the vase and opens the door and shlok enters..

" wow astha.. u have changed this room completely.. it looks beautiful.." shlok says

Astha just nods her head and starts walking outside.. suddenly shlok holds her wrist..

Astha feels uncomfortable and sees shlok..

" chalo.. we need to go for a meeting and I want u to accompany me.." shlok says..

Astha nods and they leave ...

In the car.. shlok asks astha...

" after the meeting we will go home for lunch... u can meet mom too.. its been long since u met her right.. "

Astha looks at him in tension...

" no shlok... I cant face her.. after all that happened... I hope u understand.."

" astha.. u have not done anything wrong.. it was not your mistake.. and mom knows it now.. I have told her everything" shlok says

Astha looks at him teary eyed..

Astha is in her room thinking about what to do.. wether to go or not...

" gauri, please yar come with me .. what will I go there and do alone?" astha asks

" are u serious astha.. this same guy insulted u some time back.. he used your intelligence to become a hero today .. and u are here willing to run to his party today.. have u lost it.." gauri is irritated..

" no gauri.. I don't think he is such a bad guy afterall.. just wants some attention that's it.. and anyways that day even I insulted him on the road so its just tit for tat.. and he himself invited me so I think I should go.. come na gauri it will be fun.." astha tries to persuade her

" ok astha.. u can go.. I cant come.." gauri rejects and goes home

" oh god what do I wear??" astha wonders..

Astha reaches Shloks farm house ..

She is wearing a black and red chudidar.. beautifully fitting and enhancing her awesome slim body making her look tall and sleek... and her long open hair .. she slowly walks into the party...

Shlok is wearing a very casual white v necked tshirt and dark blue denims.. looking perfectly boyish and cool...

The party is by the poolside in his huge farm house...

Astha sees that its not a huge gathering.. there are about 30 to 40 boys and girls in the party..

They are having a karaoke session going on.. and turn by turn they all are singing seeing the lyrics from a screen in front...

Its shloks turn to sing as his friends choose the song for him...

And he starts singing

Chahe tum kuch na kaho...

Maine sun liya...

Ke saathi pyar ka .. mujhe chun liya

Chun liya

Maine sun liya...

Just then astha enters the place and starts walking towards shlok

Pehla nasha..pehla ghumaar

Naya pyaar hai ..naya intezaar

Kar loon main kya apna pyar

Ae dile bekaraar

Mere dile bekaraar .. tu hi bataa..

And shlok turns back and sees astha standing in front of him.. and they share a eye lock as the instrumental music continues behind them..

Suddenly a girl speaks up meanly.. " hey astha.. who invited u here?"

Astha's expression changes and she looks at shlok...

" oh yeah.. after winning the competition with shlok she invited herself I guess.." says one of the girl

" oh really astha.. wow ur dress is so fashionable.. atleast u should have thought of ur standard before coming here.." says another girl and they all giggle..

Astha looks at shlok who doesn't speak up... astha feels bad and starts to walk away..

Suddenly amidst all the laughter.. Shlok grabs astha's hand..

Astha looks at him surprised...

" enough stop it..." shlok says in anger... " I have invited her.." everyone stop laughing

" but shlok dear.." says one of the girls who was insulting astha..

" excuse me... I think u forgot that this is my party.. and she is my guest.. and by the way u must look at yourself in the mirror first before commenting on others clothes.." he says sarcastically

" she is my guest.. and if anyone doesn't like her then they can leave.. but if u choose to be here then better be nice to her.. I don't want to unnecessarily humiliate her" shlok says firmly

Astha looks at shlok in disbelief and wonders if he is the same guy Shlok Agnihotri..

But his friends are not very happy with him and his decision to entertaining astha...

Some of his friends go to a corner and talk

" what the hell yar.. shlok is supporting this classless girl over us who have been friends with him for so many years.. wonder what magic she has done" one of the girls says..

" don't worry girls.. I will teach her a lesson.. she will never come back to shlok again.." smirks one of the guys

And they discuss an idea..

Shlok gets a call from his mom anjali..

" Shlok u are again partying.. how many parties do u throw in a month|??" anjali screaming angrily

" oh mom.. please.. we won the fest yesterday for our college.. so just a small party.."shlok is irritated

" ok shlok.. but I want u back home in the night ok.." anjali orders

" ok cool mom.. I swear I will back in the night once the party is over ok.." shlok promises hoping his mom to disconnect the call..

Astha is sitting alone in a corner and drinking some juice.. and keeps thinking that how did shlok support her..

Suddenly shlok comes to her... " hey.."

Astha turns back and feels speechless.. but shlok speaks up.. " ok sorry for my friends behaviour ok.. they are just..."

Astha gives an understanding look and nods her head..

Shlok comes and sits next to her.. " actually even I am sorry for that day.. I threw ur food and ... I .. I .. dint know that u live in that orphanage.. I was a total jerk" he says feeling sorry

" please don't say that.. I don't want anyone to sympathize with me cos I am an orphan or I live in a orphanage" astha feels a bit depressed

" ok ok I understand.. its cool.. .. but thanks that u dint call the cops making a noise and even won the competition for me" shlok says with a smile

And astha smiles back and both burst into laughter thinking of the cop incident..

"but seriously astha.. u don't close ur window and come out in a towel.. wow anyone can just come in" shlok teases and astha hits him smilingly..

" ok chalo now.. lets forget all that.. lets be friends.." shlok forwards his hand for a handshake.. and astha obliges and shakes hands with him with a smile..

Shloks friends look from a distance feeling jealous..

Just then a waiter come to shlok and astha with 2 glasses of drinks..

Shlok picks up a glass and offers the other to astha...

Just then one of shloks friends come to him.. " hey shlok come on.. lets dance.." she starts dragging him..

He asks astha to come.. but astha refuses and tells him to go ahead... and he goes away..

Astha keeps smiling and drinks her drink... actually there is something mixed in the drinks..

Astha drinks the entire glass.. and slowly starts to feel drunk.. she starts rubbing her eyes and tries to walk around to feel alright.. she even drinks water but still..

Shlok is dancing with his friends.. he sips his drink.. suddenly while dancing someones hand hits his hand and the drink falls down.. shlok fortunately doeant drink it completely..

Astha goes unconscious and falls down.. and one guy is standing behind her smiling..

He picks her up and start walking to some lonely area..

Shlok on the other hand starts feeling a bit giddy.. but not as much as astha cos he drink it fully.. suddenly he walks out of dance floor and goes where astha was sitting.. but she is not there.. he sees her small hand purse lying down and her mobile too..

He starts looking for her everywhere..

He feels quite high and he is walking drowsily.. he keeps calling astha astha and walking around the place..

The guy who took astha takes her behind the farm house in dark and puts her down.. he tries to molest her as she is unconscious.. he slowly tries to take off her dress.. he touches her in lust and about to kiss her lips.. he goes real close to her...

But suddenly he hears some footsteps.. he gets tensed and sees around.. its shlok who is walking around calling Astha Astha..

He gets irritated.. but also scared and he runs away leaving astha lying there..

Shlok walks around and finally sees astha lying on the floor.. he goes close to her to see wether it is really her.. " oh my god astha.. astha" he shakes her trying to wake her up.. but she doesn't open her eyes..

Shlok carries her in his arms and walks to his car.. he reaches his car and sees that he has no keys.. he is feeling tipsy and unable to control himself either.. " oh god keys are in my room" he says to himself..

He takes astha and walks up to his room.. he puts her on his bed and looks around.. he is feeling sloshed too.. finally he falls down next to astha on the bed and goes unconscious too...

Its morning... astha and shlok are sleeping in the same bed unconscious..

Suddenly someone is knocking at the door badly..

Shlok gets up and feels a headache.. but he hears that someone is knocking sooo much..

" what the hell.. who is it?" he says and he gets up and goes and opens the door..

Astha also gains conciousness and wakes up in the bed and sees around with small eyes to see where she is..

Shlok opens the door drowsily and sees anjali standing there.. " shlok u were to return last night right" she says in anger..

" yeah mom.. I swear I wanted to return last night.. but I don't know what happened.." he tries to explain..

Anjali in anger and pushes the door open and sees astha sitting on the bed..

And shlok sees astha too.. he bites his teeth in nervousness and says " aaa..aastha... what are u doing in my room?"

Astha looks at him and gets tensed.. " what am I doing here shlok?" she asks back in tension

Anjali looks at them disinterestedly as though they are staging a drama in front of her..

" ok shlok now stop it" she says in anger and leaves...

Shlok starts running behind her to pacify her.. " mom.. mom.. listen to me please.."

great.both sharing friendship and now his GF??? quite fast. lets see what next????????

nice update, glad shlock stuck up for her, and they have become friends, cant wait till the next update
