What a beautiful end to a wonderful story Jenny ... With hope
I will go back and read all the chapters again as I love this story ... The way their relationship grew, how Arnab gave freedom, respect, love to Khusi...how he waited for her to grow up ... Considering the era it was set in he acted like a true gentleman and I loved this Arnab of yours...
On the other hand the sensitive Khusi, her own struggle to adjust, understand and learn to be a mature, loving and intelligent woman were heart warming.
There are so many incidents which I can actually recall from this story and due to your ability to sketch them out for us ..even imagine them
Loved "All that I would ever need, I can see in your eyes",... Had loved the chapters where they meet After a gap of two years... How both wanted to know what the other did... Was glad that Khusi went with him. The family reunion was beautiful though I specially loved the scene where aparna and subroto share their happiness, their sorrow after knowing that their son is ok... Very realistic
And by the way loved the song (though as am not Bengali did not understand) it was hauntingly melodious , even my husband thought so :)
Have to read the ss yet ... Thanks for pm

Thanks Jen, for writing this wonderful story. The ending perfect, the start wonderful and the middle was brilliant...
I loved the characters each one unique and complete taking the story forward while playing their parts perfectly.

From Khushi to Khushu a wonderful journey we cried with her and for her, her innocence and her spunk, her heartaches and her love, she literally grew up in front of our eyes...from playing with a doll to having a child. She was amazing all though.
Arnab was always the perfect hero...mistaken at times but honest and brave. His morals might have faltered but he picks himself before it was too late...and for that I don't blame him, it made him endearing and human. His love for Khushi and his wanting to do right by her was so wonderfully depicted ...right from saving her doll to encouraging her to remain even in the present to retain her childishness .
Thammi played such an integral role, a mentor and guide for Khushi, her strength and courage to follow her heart...I loved her relationship with Arnab too.
The parents though it was not dwelled on too much expect for the indifference with the father it was the backbone of the story...Arnab was who he was due to them. The fact that he opposed some of his father's 'beliefs and did not agree with him was the basis of the story, but I am glad that he writes to them and lets them know how important they are to him.
Pranab, I so wished that he was included in the reunion...maybe a sequel with him and his marriage and return to the motherland !?

All your references, whether historical, food, the rituals and traditions, the setting and the ambience. Your descriptions of emotions and feelings, the boat ride, her awareness of physical intimacy, attraction and heartache. Rejection, his dilemmas and frustrations ...the struggle within himself and the one externally, always made this more visual for me than just reading a story. The clothes, seasons and backgrounds were spot on and well researched making this a complete story...

Thanks for sharing it and for writing it...

the hope , joy and the overwhelming feeling of reunion has been very well emoted...the inexplicable suffering of the estranged parents with no knowledge about the whereabouts of their first born was there throughout the entire epilogue and the way Thammi's sightless eyes shone with tears of joy was very touching as she sang lullaby to her great grandchild , having brought in the local flavor of Bengal it has been nicely woven around the entire framework of ipk and i dont think u have deviated from it in any place the lucknow spice included ⭐️
congratulations to arshi on their first born 👏

thanx for such a lovely story - enjoyed it thoroughly

ps Jenny this is Unending Love(series) and that too only the first story .So even if u go on a break will be on the lookout for more of this series 😉

Hey I know I am sooo late in commenting.
But I am having my internals next week and hence had been a little slow in reading updates. And when I read some in weekdays I had to rush through it. I didn't want to rush through this one, so I was late. I apologize for that.

You know what is the best point of your writing and what drives me to read it even though your style is not the one I like a lot?

That no matter how much pain we endure in the whole journey, the ending will always be full of happiness that I don't mind waiting for the end here and going through the pain in the journey. You make me feel different with your stories and I sincerely wish you don't leave IF and continue writing even after Intoxication. Don't know if this wish will come true. But yea, I will hope.

I have to read Intoxication too. Please give me some time, I will be following it soon :)

Bride was a beautiful story, so real and surreal at the same time. Happy that Tammi and others could see Arnab too. And I hope soon they will be able to be under one roof rather than the elders travelling like this. I feared an attack each time but thankfully No! Pranab was no where in the pic!

I loved the story a lot. I never liked such prince or nawab kind of stories and though I start reading some, I often leave it in the middle as those stories are too sad to handle and might not have happy endings. But I had faith in 'happily ever afters' of your stories so I sticked to it and I was not dissapointed.

Thank you for writing this story.

I feel choked with emotions.
You have kept the essence of old bengal and its customs live and burning throughout. Being a bengali and having heard of such details from my grand mother I can vouch for it...
Superb creation.
Have read your Late spring and Impenetrable heart also. You are blessed with this talent immensely.
Thank you for sharing it with us and keeing our arnav and khushi alive for us.
Thank you !!!
