Part 24- Stop Lying to Me!
Raj stood in front of his father. How stupid can a person get? How in God's name did Mr. Verma think that Raj would go back with him? There's a limit to stupidity but Me. Verma crossed it.
R- Are kidding me?
V- Raj, please come home
R- No, and now you go home
V- Raj I'm not leaving without you
R- Okay, good luck an apartment
V- Raj…I didn't marry her.
R- So?
V- If not for me, come back for your friends. Do you even know that Shazad had a car accident?
R- What?
V- He had a car accident
R- Mr. Verma…could you please leave now.
V- What have you become Raj? Shazad is your best friend.
R- Good bye
Raj slammed the door and left Mr. Verma outside.
Kripa and Angad were walking through the street, drinking the Ice Latt's.
K- School starts tomorrow
A- Yup
K- I don't want to go to school
A- Yup
K- I cant believe your going to be a senior
A- Yup
K- Would you stop saying yup
A- nope
K- Uff Angad, stop it
A- Shut up
K- What?
A-Just shut up, you talk to much
K- Fine
They walked without talking for 5 minutes. Then Angad stopped and looked at Kripa
A- Okay I'm sorry
K- What?
A- I'm sorry, start talking again
K- No you told me to shut up
A- Yeah, but I'm sorry
K- No
A- Please
K- No, your so weird, you tell me to shut up and then. You freak!
A- But…I said sorry
K- Uff…I don't get you
A- That's okay
K- Angad so just so
Angad hurrily kissed Kripa to make her shut up.
A- I told you to shut up
Vedika was having dinner with Troy (Chad Michel Murray). Vedika hadn't gone out ever since her mother passed. On top of being alone, their were police investigations around her. Troy though it be nice if he took her out. Vedika was very reluctant about out, and so Troy made a dinner for Vedika at her house.
T- So I'll be your waiter today
V- Troy you really don't have to do all this
T- I know, but I want to
V-Fine, but sit down, stop acting like a waiter
T- Okay. Vedika, you really need to get a hold of yourself. Your a kid, act like one.
V- I guess life makes you grow up
T- So negative…we have to change that
Vedika and Troy shared a nice dinner, and Vedika actually laughed after a long time. She enjoyed her self, but it scared her. Seeing her life history, laughter always lead to tears. Lots of tears. After dinner, Vedika and Troy sat on the sofa and talked about school and everything. Troy slowly went close to Vedika and kissed her. Vedika pulled back and started crying.
T- Crap, I'm sorry Vedika. I just thought
V- No…I just….
T- Angad
V- I know he's happy with Kripa, and I'm happy for him too. I really am
T- I know
V- And, I hope they stay happy and never get sad. But I just wish I could stop loving him. Why cant I stop loving him?
T- We don't choose to fall in fall Vedika…it just happens. And so, we cant choose to fall out of love…it'll happen on its own if it ever does. But I want you to know, that I'm always here for you…always.
Meem and Shazad met for dinner. The minute Meem sat on the table her smile became a frown.
M- What happened to you?
S- Umm
Shazad had a black eye, was he in a fight? Why didn't he tell Meem?
M- Were you in a fight? With who
S- No….I got hit with a football
M- Stop lying to me!
S- I'm not lying
M- Yes you are!
S- Okay Look Amir was in a fight, and I was there to back him up and got a black eye. Happy?
M- No! Shazad…if you wanna fight so bad, become a boxer.
S- What?
M- This is the third fight you've been in this week! And you don't even tell me about it
S- I dont have to tell you everything.
M-…..Okay, if your friends caant fight, they shouldn't be challenging people. What are you their body guard?
S- Shut up
M- What
S- I'm not hungry anymore. You can eat alone
Shazad got up and left Meem alone in the restaurant.
M- I had enough of this
Meem left as well. Angad and Kripa were at Angad's place. They were watching a movie, and eating popcorn. Angad kept throwing the popcorn at Kripa
K- What?
A_ Stop paying attention to the movie
K- Isn't that why we rented the movie?
A- No…I rented to movie so you could come over, you I could kiss you
K- You don't make sense
A- I know…so?
K-Ugh
Angad threw more popcorn at Kripa, and Kripa took the whole bag at poured the popcorn on Angad's head
K- You Irritating Creature
A- See now the popcorn is all discombobulated!!
K- Discombob what?
A- Discombobulated! It's my favorite word.
K- Why
A- Its sound cool
K- Angad stop talking please

Raj is in deep thinking as he's driving through the roads. Thinking about his life, and all the turns it's taken. As he makes another turn he passes a sign…."WELCOME TO NEW YORK".

Writers Comments-It wasn't that good, but you'll all love the next part. It's really cool. I love it. Its kinda like a magical experience for our character. All four Shazad, Meem, Kripa and Angad bump their heads on something and the next minute realize they have abilities. Finally these abilities help them see their deepest desires…which not only shock them, but will shock you as well.
