Part 23- Just Don't Wanna Let Go
Vedika was sitting in her living room, trying to study. She just couldn't put her mind to it, and so turned n her computer and checked out her my space. The first thing she saw was a comment from Troy. Her friend, he was really funny. She knew he liked her, but it really didn't matter to her. She didn't care. Even though she really did want to care. She was looking around it and saw Angad's picture. She went on his my space and saw his new status. "In a relationship with Kripa Sharma". Vedika's mouth opened for a second and her nose became pink, but she didn't do or say anything. She closed her computer and simply went back to studying.
Kripa was in the mall. She now had a part time job, well it wasn't much of a part time job because she didn't get paid for it. It was now like volunteer work. She was collecting donations for a food drive for the poor.
K (bored)- Donations for the poor please. God you low lives, you spent so much money on your coach bags, give a frickin dollar to the poor!
A- Talking to your self?
Angad came with his coffee in his hands, walking up to Kripa.
K- Hi boyfriend. Do you know we live in a sickest society, where people don't even offer a penny to the poor
A- Really?
K- Yeah, these poor, poor people. There's so poor!
A- Really?
K- Yeah…and I cant leave until I collect at least $200.00. And I only have $50.00 so far.
Kripa was making a puppy face, and looking very sad.
A-Aw…I'll make a donation
K- You will!!!Aww
A- Yeah. And its worth a lot more than 200 dollars
K- (happy) Really?
A- Yup
Angad went really close to Kripa, and started kissing her.
A- You like my donation?
K- No!!
When Kripa said that, Angad moved his lips away from Kripa
K- Wait, Wait, Wait, I'm not done yet
Kripa pulled Angad back to her, and they were making out.
K- Angad
A- Wait…don't wanna let go yet
Angad kept kissing her, when he left a tap on his back.
A- Who??
Angad turned around and saw Urvashi standing behind him with her eyebrow raised.
A- Hi Bua
U- Are you two done?
K- Hi Bua…..
Kripa quickly picked up her donation box a stuck it under Urvashi's nose.
K- Donations for the poor?
Urvashi gave a half smile and put in 5 dollars.
K- it's people like you who make this society worth living it ma'am.
U- Say bye Angad
A - Bye Angad…
U Lets go
Urvashi left, and Angad quickly kissed Kripa before leaving.
A- See you around
K- I doubt it, with the rate I'm collecting money in.
A- Something tells me you'll meet you goal real soon
K- I wish
A- Bye girlfriend.
K- Bye
As soon as Angad left, Kripa looked at her donation box, there was 5 hundred dollar bills, in there.
K- $500.00 ?????
Angad had left her $500.00!! Kripa laughed, and jumped put of her seat to go to the office the give them money in. When she went to the parking lot, she saw Angad waiting there.
A- Hi
Kripa ran to Angad and jump on him and hugged him. Angad was carrying her and leaned back onto his car. Kripa was on top of Angad, as they kissed.
K- You are such a great boyfriend
A- Yeah well you aint that bad yourself.
They laughed together and kissed. It was mid-afternoon. Mr. Ahmed (Meem's father) had called a service guys from Dish to TV, some problem in their dish box. The bell ran and Mr. Ahmed told Meem to go get it. Meem open the door and was shocked when it was Shazad. He was in a dish service workers uniform hold a huge tool box.
M (whispering) - You???
S- Dish network services
Shazad gave Meem a wicked smile and went inside.
MA- Hello sir, their something wrong with the TV
S- Don't worry sir, we'll fix that in a second.
Meem was standing next to her father in total shock, trying to act normal.
S- You know…sometimes its good for the TV to stop working
MA- And why is that?
S- TV becomes so important in people lives, sometimes its good to go out. Like the park. The park is beautiful. You can see the sunset clearly. Around 6 its perfect.
Meem started smiling. So was Mr. Ahmed and Shazad.
S- Well your TV is fixed
MA- Thank you young man. Whats your name
S-…..Ahmed.
MA- Really? That's my name to.
S- Sir, you have a good name, you should be proud.
MA- You seem quite young
S- This is a summer job
MA- Oh, are you liking it?
Shazad glanced at Meem. He ogled her top head to toe.
S- It pays a lot
MA- Well then…thank you
S- No problem, we'll mail you the bill
MA- Okay
Shazad winked at Meem when Mr. Ahmed wasn't looking, as he left the house. Later around six Meem went to the park and saw Shazad sitting on the bench.
M- Hello Dish boy
S- Hello broken TV lady
Meem laughed as she wrapped her arms around Shazad's neck and kissed him
M- So what was all that about?
S- I missed you…I never get to see you anymore. Your always, busy with something.
M- Oh I see.
S- You liked the surprise?
M- Yes…I especially liked your uniform. You looked very sexy in it I must say
S- Why thank you….I still have it in my closet you know
M- Really?
S- Yup. So you have anything broken in your house..TV, computer…or how about rats. You have a rat problem, I can be a exterminator too.
M- How about being my boyfriend for 2 minutes.
S- That I can be forever.
M- I'd like that
S- Really?
M- Yeah
S- Me too.
Raj was sitting in the stoop of his apartment building, when he saw a man coming towards him. Raj stood up to see who it was. It was his father. They stood next to each other, silent. Then finally Raj's father said
V- Come back to New York Raj. Please….

Writers Comments-
I hope you all enjoyed this part of Kuch Pal Ka Saath. I for one, am really enjoying Angad and Kripa's romance. I hope you all are too. It seems as though Raj might be coming back, I wonder what will happen when Angad, Raj and Kripa confront each other. Shazad and Meem seem to still be into each other, although I feel Shazad is getting a bit frustrated that he doesn't get to be with Meem as much as he wants to. Also Meem doesn't seen to be making an effort to meet Shazad a lot. Vedika's life at this point is still unknown to us…but we do know one thing, from seeing Vedika's reaction to Angad and Kripa…Vedika wont ever want to come between these two.
