I can't tell you how much I hate portraying Khushi to be weak, because I'm as devout a feminist as anyone could be. I absolutely detest that the character does not take a stand for herself. But the very unfortunate truth is... there ARE so many women who are like this. Who don't have the guts to say no their husbands.

The Khushi in Serendipity is not equivalent to the Khushi in IPKKND. The Khushi in this FF has been completely and utterly broken by his rejection, and she knows the reason behind the marriage is her connection with Shyam. She is that desperate, to feel even that iota of love from Arnav, as horrible and evil as he may be.

But I honestly assure you. Khushi will be the one predominantly changing in this FF.

I can't understand why the bulk of writers on Arnav Khushi portray Khushi as unable to say no to physical intimacy even when Arnav is downright beastly to her. Its quite frustrating to see Khushi being so desperate and starved for affection that she is willing to let a man who behaves inhumanly to her, take her. She is willing to forgive every insult, every hurt, every indignity for a few words of love thrown at her?

I guess it kind of upsets me to see a woman being portrayed thus - to be desperate for her tormentor. Esp when the character Khushi was never so. She may have hung round and taken crap from Arnav for her sister's sake but in all of that she never let go her self respect.

Having got that rant out of the way :-) poor Khushi and stupid Arnav. I do hope she doesn't forgive him ever! That by the way is a tribute to your writing to get me so worked up!

If two people are heavily drunk and one of them is a first time drinker, I would place my money for the more experienced one to wake up first...just saying :)

Khushi: heartbroken, weak, self sacrificing...downhill road for her?
