Lovely story Semanti. Had waited for it to complete to read it. As I knew if I start reading it, it would be distracting me all the time as to what next! Glad that I patiently waited and the reward was extremely satisfactory.

Hello!

Sorry sorry, laakhon sorry! I know I'm about five days late now. My asli duniya has been very demanding and I'm very optimistic-- I routinely underestimate the amount of time I'll need to finish writing the Epilogue. So I'm going to try to finish and post, ek baar phir tonight. Please keep your fingers crossed that I don't fall asleep (again).

She would have stumbled backwards very inelegantly had it not been for an arm that reflexively went around her waist and anchored her to the person in front of her.

"Now now, Gupta, I know you can't get enough of me and all that, but really. There's a time and place for everything."

"Don't flatter yourself, Raizada. I have a ton of work to do, so if you'll excuse me." Khushi carefully regarded the bit of bronze skin and dark hair visible through the open neck of his white button-down shirt and black blazer, refusing to meet his gaze.

"He came, Khushi. That's what's important. Call him tomorrow. Talk to him. He's your best friend." He whispered for her ears alone, before pressing a quick kiss to her temple and letting her go.
