The other girls had also gathered there and were teasing the bride...Telling her about the horrors of wedding and some were teasing her about the wedding night. Some were sad that she would be leaving them all forever... That brought tears to Avni's eyes and also to Khushi's...

Then someone said...What if the bridegroom doesn't come?? Then Avni doesn't need to go to the other village... Everyone scolded that girl for saying this...How can you say that? Silly girl...He will come for sure and take our Avni with him...

Khushi had just frozen on the spot...The words playing again and again in her mind...What if the bridegroom doesn't come??? What if the bridegroom doesn't come??? The bride will be left at the altar...Dazed she turned and walked out the room...
