You completely changed the direction and atmosphere with this update. I did not expect this kind of change and it was a surprise but then that's been the strength of your story telling. These unexpected surprises are what keep us excited. I am all of it.

Khushi has not gotten over her first kiss, she had not relished her first kiss and guilt washes over her. Khushi and Anya has a very transparent and open relationship, they have been each other's shadow and mirror. But for the first time Khushi is hiding herself from Anya so I can understand it must be killing her. I wonder what will happen if Anya finds out about Arnav and Khushi that even before Khushi shares it with her.

Devi maiyya and Shyam bhaiyya, the duo come to Khushi's rescue. Of course Devi maiyya knows everything going on between Arnav and Khushi but does Shyam bhaiyya know too?

It's surprised me that though Shyam and Anjali are not married her family treats him like part of family. Anya calls him jiju and everybody else seems to have an easy camaraderie with him. It speaks a lot about Shyam as a person and how much this family values him.

And they toasted to "to us" earlier with a kiss and now with champagne and orange juice.

If there are two people who were completely in sync, on the same page and know and understood each other very well, it's Anjali and Arnav. Only these two know the damage done by their parents to their innocent minds and which remain as scars. I think Anjali and Arnav are dealing with their past in their own way. Anjali is trying to find love with people around her and find joy is what she does and Arnav wants to race ahead in his career and come out of the shadows of his nani and mama and be independent. I guess they both are right in their places but what didn't sit well with me was, does Arnav really not value love? Is he really running behind money? Didn't he just acknowledge his relationship with Khushi?

Now I can't wait to see Arnav and Khushi confrontation. Wonder how Arnav will react!!

Loved the nervous Khushi. Omission of truth can be considered a part of lie but still the guilt is less in that case. I prefer going this way only when I don't want to share the truth. 😛 Shyam helped her. Now did he know that Khushi was about to lie or should I ask does he know about Arnav-Khushi? 😲
Arnav around and Khushi's senses on high alert!!! I loved the way he raised a toast just for them "to us".😉 The meaning was not lost on both of them.
Now I'll keep wondering what Anya was about to say to Aman!!! 😕
Nani is too good, amazing. Her word is final like a true matriarch of the family.
Arnav is going to work in New York and he is doing it knowingly. He knows the wishes of Nani & Mama but he still wants to work separately. Arnav Singh Raizada is still a lost child at heart. On surface he is fine, mixing around with people, and he loves and cares for his family too. But the scars from past run too deep to heal or may be he is not giving it enough time to heal. He has stubbornly made up his mind. In the family nobody makes them feel any different, burden or less loved, still he has not completely accepted the family as his.
Arnav & Anjali, both are scarred. Anjali has at least found love and Arnav too has but has he embraced it fully, accepted that his feelings for Khushi is love - it's yet to be seen.
Khushi came here to meet him but has listened a very private conversation of the siblings. I just hope that Arnav won't vent out his anger on her.

If the first part was all sensual with sprinkles of romance, the last part was all about emotions that have shaped up Arnav-Anjali in what they are today. Great update.

how much a troubled marriage can affect children it was perfectly written..and m glad unlike arnav anjali has accepted everything and is ready to take a chance and loves shyam immensly..she is even ready to get married..the character of anjali you have potrayed is realistic and m happy she is this way...😊

arnav poor boy after watever he has gone thru i feel so much for him..i know he will change but m more of afraid to even think how it will happen i would love to see your version of how arnav changes and believes in love...

and the ending...im afraid(u know the kind of afraidness you get wen your awating your results😆🤣) you see your writings have dis effect on us..why khushi was there listening to all those stuffs and why arnav had to know dat she is der..i just hope khushi doest explain him going all anjali way again becoz there is lot of difference between khushi and anjali in terms of relationship they share with arnav...

Wonderful update, as usual. Aftermath of the kiss was put up beautifully, specially the lines written as khushi's monologue where she talks about agnostic & atheist, those lines were really beautiful. I am bit confused with khushi as of whether she is feeling guilty for kissing her best friend's brother or for hiding her first kiss from anya, though I presume it to be the second one. Loved the way how everyone were engaged in conversation, enjoying the party. Arnav indeed sounded like a lost child carving for warmth & love. My heart went out to the poor fellow. He has buried a lot of pain within him and is still fighting the demos of his past because of which he is robbed of his youth. I hope khushi becomes shyam in arnav's life, loving him with all his scars and then may be like anjali he might also heal along with time & love. There is a saying in my language which implies its always a child who suffers most when parents quarrel and arnav & anjali are a good example of the same. Their parents might have passed away but they have left scars which will remain as a baggage for a long time. Even though arnav & anjali seem to be similar in many ways, they do have different views when it comes to family & thier past. I am glad that anjali is ready to take a chance at happiness & marriage and she couldn't have done it without shyam's love & care. Though I agree with anjali to a certain extent like it is definately time for arnav to move on & give himself a chance at happiness, to accept their mama's family as his own but I do disgaree when it comes to his career. When anjali herself is pursuing what she loves then it will only be fair enough on her part to allow arnav pursue his dreams, do what he loves to do . I would love to read anya's point of view with respect to her past, her siblings at some point of time. Curious to learn more about next turn of events with khushi witnessing sibling's argument & arnav discovering her presence. At the given moment,I am bit anxious as far as arnav & khushi's relationship is considered. Albeit they kissed eachother giving into their attraction, it will be tough ahead- courtesy being arnav's views on life.

I feel so sorry for Nani mad mama too...to do all that in the name of familial love and have it so casually and coldly thrown back in their face (albeit unknowingly on their part) is heart breaking.

You do have to feel the most sorry for Arnav though...there is some serious damage to his psyche and whilst some may see it as strength ... For he is a strong person ... He is actually weak with insecurity at his very core.

The burning question is...how does Khushi fit into this? She's obviously a bit of a curveball for Arnav...he doesn't seem like the sort to let her distract him from his ambitions or influence him to change his mind.

What will she think of what transpired between Arnav and Anjali? I get the feeling she'll be severely disappointed with his attitude to his family ... But is it enough to curb her growing attraction/feelings for him.

So much thought provocation!!! Absolutely adore this chapter!!

He is so focused on earning respect and equating it with wealth and independence as if that will make him whole, unable to accept or give love...unable to even recognize love...

And Khushi heard it all...will she comprehend the deeper revelations about character and choices or is she too far gone to delve that deep now and realize the challenges of being in love with this man?
