To think of child marriage and then to think of Arnav and Khushi in a bond like that - it is a conflict of principles and emotions. Aptly named, I am amazed how you have explored the story. There is a beauty in how you've described the feelings and thoughts. I find myself hoping for the little girl that her husband likes that 'A' on his handkerchief. I wish it wasn't a child marriage but then the innocence in the story wouldn't be as sweet and wouldn't sound as pure as it does. I like how you've spun Arnab, a middle class Indian in 1920s - educated and being caught between culture, tradition, stereotypes and expectation. I really do believe, you could have explored the Pranab angle a little more. I, especially, love the transition of Khushi from a girl to a woman - oh, how sensuous it is. I fell in love with the whole story with its Bengali background and tinge of nationalism. Beautiful!

i must admit it was yet another difficult story for me...to imagine khushi nd arnav as husband/wife wen dey were 12 nd 25 repectively was extremely difficult for me...bt den u introduced me to the world prevailed once...to the customs dat i guess r still practiced...

for me the most difficult chapter was yet again wen arnav goes to seek measures to control his physical desires...nd yet again he faces a child...i was so sad imagining the condition of those kids who lost it all at such a young age...wen dey dint even know the meaning of wat dey were doing...my heart went for another gal who was his wife trying to know wat it takes to be a woman...

imagining a 15 yr khushi nd 28 yrs arnav as lovers was yet again awkward...arnav thot abt loving her once she grew up was a bit weird...may be becoz it was new to me...

i respect the man u presented in arnav...how he waited for his wife to grow...how he waited for her to accept nd want the relation a man nd a woman shares...being loyal to her...maintaining the fidelity if his relationship...of his marriage wd her ...wen infidelity was sumthng dat was found at evy nook nd corner...

deir love making was beautiful...you took inspiration form the scene dat is close to my heart...a scene which i thot would have surpassed all definitions of beauty had it been shot widout body doubles...


i loved the ending...he took her wd him...dey have hardly been wd each oder nd deir love has reached a level dat is hard to define...

waiting for an epilogue...nd yet another masterpiece from u...

Awww lovely ending. I'm so glad that khushi convinced Arnav to take her with him. The seperation was so heartbreaking.
