"Because It was him who created us...Because it was him who inserted this curiosity to learn...Because it was him who give us faith to walk ahead...No strong points...No arguments...Just pure beliefs they are..You all close your eyes...Think about the your soul's connection with Almighty...You will find a strong feeling that there is someone beside you all time... That's it.. You found him, The God"
Her words echoed in his ears making him shake his head vigorously. Never in his dreams he had imagined to actually believe in God, that too on someone's saying. But every word she said was so true...Yes, he agrees that he do not believe in God or anything related to him... All he know is that this world was created due to certain factors like "Big Bang", the climatic conditions of that time which aided in life formation on earth, if seen scientifically there is no proof of God creating this universe. Then why is God such an integral part of people's life?
He walked across the streets of Dehradun, such an beautiful place, filled with pure air, without any hustle of life outside, there was a serenity persistent here always...which gradually overshadows hearts of people living here thus making them so happy, fulfilled.
He is Reyaansh Singhnia, author of Origin of life, recently attended a seminar to discuss the facts he used in his book.
And she was a school Art teacher.
"Reyaansh...You say it was your passion, to write on this topic...I am not against it...In fact I really liked the way you discussed about few facts in your book.. About the rich culture of India linked with old theories of Existence of God..I just want to say that.. There are always two ways to look at the top of mountain... Where one sees the tip of mountain straightaway... and other one looks at the path to the tip of mountain...Our country is diverse... Each community have their own God, whom they pray, consider as their life source. They want someone they can lay upon...Someone whom they can trust blindly...Someone whom they can love unconditionally...And they Love him...Because he is the supreme power.."
Her expressive way to justify her thoughts..her expressive eyes...her body language..it was like she had no worries in her life..no tensions... as if she was made specially with a peaceful mind and soul..
He just couldn't wipe away her image from his mind...constantly her big eyes were reminding him of her facts...and he was losing control...control on his thought process...on his self confidence...on himself...since he had met her at seminar last evening.
How can people justify existence of God by mere belief?
He rubbed his palms, warming them and stopped as he heard a similar voice from a corner of street. His eyes went in the same direction and he saw her standing in front of a flower shop, buying white lilies.
"Hey.." He said catching his breath.
"Good Morning Reyaansh.. What are you doing here?" Kria greeted him smilingly.
" Ah...Good Morning Kria.. I was here for a walk, And you?" He replied with same warmth. Should he really tell her what he was thinking? How much she had affected his thought process?
"I am here to buy some flowers for my Granny..Its her Birthday today.."She spoke with excitement.
"Won't you mind if I walk with you?" he asked her, it will be so good for him if he clears his mind right now, or else he won't be able to go back and start working on his new book.
"Yes, why not? I would love that..." She answered, taking the bunch of lilies from shop keeper..."In fact my Granny stays nearby so you can also meet her if you want.." she added and he nodded with a yes.
Her voice had something magical in it...he never heard anyone's arguments but yesterday he heard every single word she said in seminar.
While walking there was a certain silence in between them...How should he start the conversation? And finally he opted for old way.
"Do you really believe that people who think the Life is not created by God are wrong?" He asked her, to which she replied with amusement.
"I don't think they are wrong...It depend upon perception. For me each thing in world is made by him...He frames relationships, teaches us to love everything..In fact I think there is no definition of God. God can be anything...from a small bee to a giant mountain...God doesn't requires any shape of physical form, God can be a feeling...God can be a source of determination...God can be anything...God can be Love...And if you know how to Love someone...then you also love God."
" But I don't...I do know how to Love...But I don't think there is any God helping me every minute.." He queried back.
She looked at him and smiled. "Reyaansh...You know what..I use to think the same..But then.. Situations in my life made me realize what is God.." She said opening the gate of graveyard.
And he looked at her questioningly, Why were they walking to a graveyard?
He saw her walk inside, unwrapping the newspaper from the bunch of lilies, and she stopped near a grave and offered the lilies. And he was quick enough to follow her.
"I am sorry..I didn't knew that You Granny is no more.."
"Its fine... Reyaansh..And answer to your question is...God is the source of belief, a source which is keeping us both walking.. a source which is helping me and everyone to live with hopes. He have no forms, no definition...Whatever you are...You believe in God or not.. but he is always with you.." She said in while praying and he heard every word she said with deep concentration.
And after finishing her prayers she walked away smiling leaving him with his questions and answers. But all he knew after meeting her was, God is not a person, God is not in forms, If God is there..then he can he in any form...also in the form of Love.
