For the lack of better words, it felt too drawn out to get to this juncture. Anyways, I feel these developments were necessary, because from this point onward everything will transpire in lightening speed. Some boundaries will be broken and new ones, formed.

In the actual tamil Kamba ramayanam, its just the opposite.

"Kandanan Seethayai" I had overhead (yeah! I actually belong to the French class :D I sometimes sat in with my friend just for kicks and paid for it during exam nights - I got these horrible nightmares about appearing for a tamil exam and not know anything. LOL!) the tamil prof explain that if Hanuman were to have exclaimed Seetha's name with an outburst, it could have caused anxiety in Ram, leading him to fill in the sentence with his own imagination. Hence, Hanuman confirms having seen her first and then takes her name. If I happen to have also overhead it correctly, then according to the prof. Hanuman's contemplation over the construct also was covered beautifully.

I read the Sundara Kanda by the Ramakrishna Mission and shared it here, true the manner in which a message is conveyed is as important as the message itself.
In that version, the army that awaits Hanuman's return first gets the message and they rush to relay it to Ram and Lakshman. On the way the stop at Madhuvan and destroy the park in their revelry. The caretaker of the park rushes to complain to Sugreeva about the monkey army and that complaint hints at Hanuman bringing positive news for Ram. It is later when they all assemble before Ram that the actual happenings at Lanka are recounted by Hanuman.

It was first time we get to glace in arjun's thoughts...
So all the time she was in his thoughts only. He tried to get away from that.
Loved their meeting again this way...so much going on bet them, silently.
He was initially was going to office but after listening to her mention of quote form his library, he changed his mind...so he will see her note..
Aditya's coming also and thats why arjun doesnt want
Vishwa, again, will do anything to rbing them close. loved his teasing smile that irritated arjun everytime.

This song came to mind after I read the earlier thread of Hanuman meeting Sita.
Listen to "Kanden seethayai" composed by Arunachala Kavi and sung by Bombay Jayasri -

Wow mklam, that was a nice comment! Kismet & Karma, I loved how you coined it and connected it to Arjun and Shyama's lives. Even Vishwa admits that fact!

I understood that my role had become redundant then - there were bigger things at play in their lives.

Hi H, Finally am getting some peaceful time to enjoy the story. Shyama's anger towards Vishwa and her not attending Vishwa's calls for 10 days is now justified. I was thinking that she avoided him because he was playing matchmaker role with a passion. But now I understand it was because she felt angry with V for playing with her emotions. He had made her vulnerable with Shradha story, well, a kind of emotional blackmailing or threatening sort -- through the story he trying to convey destiny might bring you wonderful gifts but if you play fool and let it go, you will regret later. Even though Shyama rebuffed him for fabricating such a story, she did dig deeper to find out whether such a person truly exist! And what did she find? Yes, such a person does exist! And when Shyama realises such a person is very much alive and breathing, Shyama might have stunned and her feelings later explain that she was conflicted whether to convey this news to V or not. I got two curious questions

1. How did Shyama find out about Shradha?
2. Why did Shyama not confront V about Shradha when she came to know about the truth. What held her back? V had to come and ask her the reason.
3. Ok one more question - this is from the epic related scene of Radha Krishna relationship --- after Krishna left Vrindavan, what happened to Radha? Did he ever came back or was that the end of that love story?

And honestly for the first time, I felt angry toward Vishwa,---Closing my eyes for a second, I smiled. "Of course, she is alive, silly," I said before tapping her on the head. "I never said she died."--- oh my god V, for that smile, I would have caught your collar that time itself! How dare you lie to me and play with my feelings? Shyama was late, I would say. And once she saw Arnav, she forgot all the anger towards Vishwa??

Btw, one more curious question from epic angle --- Did Rukimi and Arjun have any connection? like were they friends or cousins or some relation? Because for Riti, Mr. Frigid moved his ass!

They both had enough charisma to be drawn to the other only after their first meet and I can only hope that the Arjun and Shayma - the characters in this story- are endowed with the same appeal, to justify their short period of courting, or the lack thereof before they jump the gun.

For now, its really going to be pesudo love arranged marriage ;) That is the best I can do. If there other ways to have treated this part of the story line, I'm open to hearing feedback on the same.

H,

Well, since this story's background is epic, there isn't much you could do to alter and present the lovers moments in a satisfactory manner. You have given one beautiful night where they traveled together and stayed together (well, separately still same house). If you try to prolong and stretch, I feel it would loose its essence. I am sure in Bhadrachalam they would have few moments, on the way also there could be some moments before they get married.

I dunno whether you have seen the below mentioned movies. Just sharing---I had come across this movie - Before sunrise, from a writer's story, it explains a beautiful love story which blossomed within a day of traveling. Well, here your story concept is different but still if it could inspire you with some ideas.. Also this one proposal on a very short notice really amazed me when I watched it first time, but as the characters are intense of course, its Kamal, so no doubt --- luckily i got a telgu version. You might have seen it.

The characters you have introduced to us are too...intense...and vivid, for lack of better words, to require a long drawn out period to justify their actions (to the readers). You have an amazing talent in fleshing out characters from pretty ephemeral concepts, thoughts and minor details that we have been given in relatively few chapters.

@bold - I agree, this reminds me of another epic the Ramayana - Hanuman comes back after seeing Sita in Lanka and tells the monkey army waiting for him the result of his trip in two word "Sita dekhi" meaning "I saw Sita". To convey a lot in a few words requires immense talent and that is the beauty of your writing, a request kept it like this.

Yes! Exactly!! Well said K & moonmin4455! You have this amazingly potential to hide secrets of great intensity and prime importance in simple sentences too (Mummy K and Nilofer's conversation is a good example). So go ahead lady!
