awesome update.

It is good she has vishwa in her life whom she could talk all about. And when he asks her whether she would let anyone else to decide what will happen in her life, I felt even she din't want anyone other than Vishwa himself in her life to do that.

Its been so long since I've commented on your update, I am not able to form a sentence properly...

By the way Vishwa does have a Krishna type presence in this story.

part 3 - lovely part...suyodh & aditya, means duryodhan and karna...it so obvious tashan bet aditya and arjun...suyodh trying to force adity's teaching dhri and how aditya is better thatn arjun...i liked that she pulled to take arjun's side and defending him how far better he is thatn aditya.. and all this time vishwa watching everything without saying anything

part 4 - so vishwa was expecting her call as arjun...seems she had crush on vishwa since last 10 years...and she unknowlyly compares every man to him, even arjun...but he had some effect on her which vishwa was aware of that...what he wanted to talk about with her...

Fantastic tale. I always loved reading the Mahabharatha for its complexities (the one by Kamala Subramaniam tops the list) I believe the relationship between Draupadi and Krishna was that of a devotee/idol, siblings/friends and never the romantic kind. And the fact that she favoured Arjun over her other husbands was well-known as that cost her the final entry into the gateways of heaven 😊 the first time around but Arjun's love story with Subhadra was well documented - I guess Draupadi was too fiery for any man and Shyama/Khushi seems to have come from the same mold!
I like the way you've woven this tale around such epic characters and though you do write it in a modern setting, I can visualize the passion and intrigue that hovered between the players then and now. Great going!

Anyways, Krsna (Draupadi) was eternally in love with Krishna. Now don't name this love for even the Mahabharat didn't name it quite well, at least until the part I have read. That said, Krsna was also a combined avatar of many goddesses, one of whom was Sri - the goddess of wealth, the consort of Vishnu. So this divine attraction is bound to be.

That said, you should also know that Arjun and Krishna are more like two parts of the same soul, for they were the Nara and the Narayana twins in their previous birth. For those same reasons, its said that her love for Arjun came just as easily as it did for Krishna.

hmm quite interesting fact. I knew that Krishna & Draupadi were best friends. yaah Arjun &Krishna were twins...Hmmm I guess, I am going to rejuvenating my knowledge of Mahabharata through ur story..

Just read 3 and 4. Wow! The inexplicable relationship of Draupadi, Krishna and Arjuna.. You have translated it well into the story. I was thrilled how you introduced Suyodh and Aditya with their peculiar characteristics and also the cold vibes between the two and Arnav/Arjun. I really loved how you portrayed 'the' moment of Shyama, Arjuna and Aditya. And also Vishwa's knowing-it-all smile :) Waiting for more!

It may make me prejudiced but I can't forget Mahabharata while reading this.

This is simply brilliant... I loved it... Such a modern taken on our very olden myth... You have very beautifully woven every character in style n have so effortlessly set them in urban conditions without losing their original essence...

When it comes to Mahabarath or Ramayan, it has always been Mahabarath for me... And I know many who have the same opinion... N thats because i feel in MB the negatives are all shade of grey n not plain evil and personally I find MB more realistically dramatic with every character having their own set of goods n flaws... That makes it a more realistic drama... Is that not what life of every single person is??? Shade of Grey :)

Every chapter was so aptly titled and the best I liked is Swayamvar... So well written and every single line was felt.

PS: I came here checking Kalyani's reading list and can't thank her enough for that :)
