God ... she compared her with payal... that was rude...😡

I hope ye auntie indirectly hi sahi... but rey ke dil me kriya k liye feelings jaga degi...😉

Hola people. I'm back with an update. Now that my exams have completed, I'll be updating like earlier, once in two days. Here's the next installment.

Part 19:

Kriya was very upset and moreover that she was angry. No one has ever dared to comment on her character. Plus she wasn't the one to just stand and listen to someone's rambling especially when they're wrong. But today she held herself back only because the person in front of her was an aged person plus one of her in laws.

Preeti saw Kriya sitting on the bed with a grumpy face. She sat beside her and placed her palm on her shoulder. Kriya looked at Payal pretending that she's fine.

"I know you're angry and you have the right to be angry after what bua ji said."

"No mom, I'm fine."

"It's good to know you're fine. But you will be facing many such circumstances where in you might not be fine."

"I didn't get you mom."

"Look Kriya, bua ji is a very grouchy and meticulous person. She wants every work to be done as per her accord and that too with perfection. And Kriya at times she would compare you with Payal but you have to be patient. You have to impress her and show her that there can never be any comparison between you and Payal. All you need to do is work patiently."

"I will mom." Kriya said smiling.

"Thanks beta. And I know you will." Preeti smiled at her. Just then Kaira entered the room.

"Mommy I missed you tons." Kaira said climbing up her laps.

"I missed you too honey."

"Acah mommy, don't be upset please. Let that old lady say anything because I know you are the best." Kaira said referring to dadi bua.

"Kaira, language! She's is your great grandmother and you have to respect her."

"Sorry and ok." Kaira said.

Kriya wondered how this little girl can have so much faith in her. She was really touched by Kaira's affection. She kissed Kaira's cheeks. Just then Rey entered inside and seeing Rey here Preeti left, giving this small family some time alone.

"Uh, Kriya I'm sorry for whatever dadi bua said downstairs."

"It's fine Rey. You don't need to apologize."

"By the way daddy, mommy is looking pretty in this dress, isn't she?" Kaira asked standing in front of Rey.

This question of hers startled both Rey and kriya. "Uh, Kaira, you go and play, mommy and daddy are a little tired."

"No. First you answer my question."

"Umm, yeah she's looking beautiful." Rey said looking at Kriya whilst Kriya's cheeks flushed.

"Oh! Mommy I forgot to tell you, few of my friends are coming home today to meet you."

"Okay, baby. I'll prepare whatever your friends like. Now you go out and play, mommy is tired."

"Are you both really tired or is it just an excuse to spend time together?" Kaira said giggling making Kriya and Rey embarrassed. Once she left, Kriya got up to proceed towards the washroom while Rey wanted to go downstairs. Both of them collided into the other on their way to their respective destinations. Rey steadied her and immediately proceeded away due to the awkwardness prevailing.

It was almost evening, and everyone was in the living room. Kriya was wearing a saari. She approached dadi bua with a cup of tea.

"Dadi bua yeh rahi aapki ginger tea." Kriya said smiling at her.

"Ginger kya?" Dadi asked making some face.

"Oops! Mera matlab hai adrak wali chai."

"hmm...theek hai...rakh do yahan" Though dadi bua liked the tea but she refrained complimenting Kriya for it.

"Just then they heard the door bell ring and a servant opened the door."

Kaira's friends were there at the door. "Mommy this is Priyanka, Riya, Aisha and Sanjana." Kaira introduced them. On seeing Sanjana, Kriya stood there dumbfounded. The little girl Sanjana immediately hugged Kriya and said "Chachi I missed you so much", shocking everyone present there especially dadi bua.

Kaira is so cute..

Another twist! Sanjana is related to Kria's Ex in-laws! but I couldn't understand

one thing whether Daadi already knows about Kria's previous marriage or not! If Not,

then Kria will have to face a Volcano!!

So finally i get time to comment on your story. I have been a silent reader , as i really didn't get time to comment. :P

Anyways , i love the way you take forward this story. And i seriously loved kiara's character. She is so adorable.

Plus the twists you bring in. The emotions are really very well explained , and i love this.

P.S - Please don't mind if i don't comment regularly as i really don't get time , and am a lazy reviewer. But yeah , i do read each and every update. :D
