Chapter 10
She heard soft murmurs of her friends talking about something; she turned around to face them only to find their smiling faces. What were they up to?
Anyhow, this even wasn't that interesting than she expected, there were few boring speeches by emotional fellow mates, few performances and few other things. Had she dressed up for this? All her hard work to look best was for these speeches?
No! Kria you should concentrate, you need to focus, There is something going on in his mind...Be careful.
She shook her head after catching a glimpse of him attending an old friend near the drink's counter. And then she again looked at her friends.
"Guys...What are you planning?" She asked them with excitement.
"Kria... This party is boring, isn't it? So we are planning to do something interesting" Sid said with pride.
"Fine then... Count me in..."Kria said without giving it a second thought.
"Okay then... Be outside, in lawn exact in 10 minutes... I will inform others too..." Sid spoke out before leaving his place.
She let out a sigh of relief, finally some air in this party full of speeches. This isn't how one imagines his/her Alumni meet! With few snacks and boring people around, and most importantly one person ignoring you! She glared at him again and fumed with anger watching him talk with other girls. He always has been like this, giving importance to everything else than her. During old times also, despite of the cold competition he use to always avoid or walk with his high ego, making her nerves burn with anger, and now also...He hasn't changed a bit! Still the old Reyansh, who wants to be everyone's sweetheart? And he had actually succeeded in it; almost every girl was talking about him, about how handsome he looks, how good he sings and etc. He must happily proud getting so much attention. She scoffed, yet again watching him flirt with another girl. And this made her ask her God, Where the hell were her ex- boyfriends? The one's with whom she use to walk in front of his classroom corridor ,only to make him jealous. It was like the tables have been turned all out of sudden, few days back she was thinking to make him burn with this feeling but right now she was feeling worse instead of him.
She grabbed her lemonade and made her way out, muttering innumerable curses.
As soon as he watched her leave the hall, he slipped his arms off from that girl's arms and followed the direction where Kria went. He was succeeding in his plan to frustrate her. Just as he too stepped outside, he saw Sid waving at him, gesturing him to join them. Almost all of their friends have gathered and seated on the circular couch.
And there he saw "The Cultural head- Kria" and with a devilish thought, he seated himself opposite to her.
"So guys...Let us start the game...Remember the rules... The one's similar to the last time we played at our Farewell."Sid says loudly and spins the bottle on table.
Her eyes were fixed on the bottle, it was the same feeling, the one she had witnessed 5 years ago, when he looked at her instead of answering the question everyone had asked. And now also...She was feeling the same desperation. For a moment she caught his gaze, his brown eyes- as hypnotizing as ever.
Her gaze was fixed on him until she heard everyone hoot loudly.
"Go Rey...It's your turn... Truth or Dare?" Sid asked him.
"Truth..." He replied, watching few changes on her face.
Kria felt something deep inside bloom with hopes, making her bold.
Deja vu.
"Go Kria... Ask him any question then..." Sid spoke out with enthusiasm.
"Fine then... You guys remember Last time at farewell... Our Head Boy, Reyansh... Excused himself out when we asked him a question?" Kria said loudly with a devilish smirk. And Rey wasn't surprised with her question.
"Yes! You are right Kria... C'mon Rey answer us now. Who do you wanted to Date back then?" Sid joined kria.
"Ermm... My answer won't change... She is the most beautiful person I'v ever seen... Our very own...Accounts teacher, Ms. Shikha Bisht..." Rey replied with confidence, watching her face go red again, and it fumed her more when each boy present there agreed with Rey.
"Huh?" She growled, losing her temper.
