idk if i should post it here ..since its ur story ..i don't want to make it as a news
but i read a post where few girls were stopped by 10 or 12 guys with knives
and they were saying this :

Darr lag raha hai. Ladko se darr lagta hai. Tum do ladkiyan ek ladke ke sath, hum 15 log do ke sath kyu nahi ho sakte

- Arre nahi yar, abhi wo gangrape ka faisla aaya hai na, maut ki saza mili hai sabko. Hum logo ko bhi mil jayegi.

- Jab milegi tab dekh lenge. Lekin humein maut ki saza nahi milegi, hum log normal rape karenge na. Waisa wala nahi... wo to janwar karte hai.

- To kahan lekar chale inko, yehi dekhein inko?...dekh sakte hai na...ae madam...choli ke peeche kya hai ... dikhaogi ya hum khud dekhein???

They were do a NORMAL RAPE...NORMAL RAPE
it angers so much
i can't sleep
there hasn't been a day i think about damini

I am scared for myself and millions girls out there...whose every step can count as a danger
I..I feel so helpless

Fabulous story line to tell a story, A!

I liked how for Arnav and Khushi, the process of falling in love was gradual and was more than fell-in-love-with-you-when-I-saw-you-first...

Khushi, a young career- oriented girl has gone through so much because someone couldn't handle their desires. No one gave the right to Shyam to violate her and make her feel miserable and waste 1 whole year of her life. But Khushi chose not to wallow in self- pity and rose above it eventually.

Arnav is right when he said she had already taken the first step towards her future when she started working again...

May be when it comes to Khushi, Arnav's senses are always alerted to the hilt. He knew she had something to hide or rather she was holding back something within her which she couldn't share with anyone... He was the one to point that out and help her deal with it.

The lines from the show brought back so many memories... Sigh!

Arnav by being a gentleman was able to talk her out of the situation she was in and she did take a leap of faith. He got her 'MISSING'' smile back! Yay to that!

Although the ILYD seemed a bit rushed, when it is a OS, you just can't help it... But, A, this was excellent SS material you had in hand... How I wish I could read this as a SS... But then it is a writer's prerogative!

And u have written after so long! Thank you for resuming writing again! And u have no reason to be apprehensive about this piece of writing! U have handled it so well!

Wish to see a pm soon in my inbox with another story of yours!

Yes it is very disturbing every time when u come across news like that everyday that women have been molested and what not... Can't even feel the tip of hurt they have gone through... Can only hope that the harsher punishments stop this crime and hienous acts in future!

Thank you so much.
Here there couldn't be a case of love at first sight. Actually I believe it can't be the case even in real life - there can be attraction or some liking but love nah!!
Unfortunately most of the men consider it as their birthright to get what they want specially when a woman is concerned. It's sad but true in most regions of India.
I understand why you felt that ILYD was rushed. You know I first wrote it only as a gentle ILY but with Arnav & Khushi ILY without dammit seems incomplete. (So blame it on my IPKKND affected heart šŸ˜†)
Hopefully you'll see another PM soon (but not before 2-3 weeks)😊
Ameen to that!! Hopefully it stops.

A very burning topic you have raised in this OS. Rape. Just because some low-life cannot control his lust, girls are violated/murdered or left to die. While it is true for world over, our country seems to be leading the pack as of now.

This story dealt more with date-rape issue. And you have portrayed it in a very raw manner. Like it would happen. No sugar coating. I applaud you for that.

I hope there is one Arnav for each such girl. And every girl is lucky like Khushi to get out of the situation with the amount of hurt she escaped with. I don't even want to think about the what if's. What if she would have had some permanent physical damage? What if Shyam would have succeeded in his intention? What if Arnav would have not taken as much interest in his jumpy nervous designer?

All in all, kudos!

Thanks for sharing. I already dread traveling in Gurgaon for so many incidents that I keep reading about. Read the whole post and it's damn scary. There is nothing like normal & usual in a rape or molestation. At times I wonder even if education can reform such people. Education alone is not enough. I've met many people in my life who are not much educated but still they know how to talk and behave with a woman.
In times like today there are moments when I seriously consider buying a licensed gun. Insecurity is so much, couldn't help myself.
strangely there was a time when if people traveled in remote areas they considered it good if they found someone on the way but presently it amounts to alarm.

First of all thank you for sharing your thoughts both on the issue and this story. This is such a sensitive topic and there was this constant thought at the back of my mind of not doing complete justice to it - That's why the apprehension.
When Khushi is keeping quiet Arnav has to say something to make her speak.
Those incidents regarding her hesitation were the only I could write keeping in mind the effect of such a horrible incident. For me these can be the signs of people dealing with different kind of trauma and which we sometimes forget to pay attention to because we are too busy in our own lives -specially domestic violence and abuse in case of couples.
I think that a person who has experienced such tortures will be suspicious of not only others but themselves. Isn't this what our society makes to believe them - she wears such kind of clothes, she goes to pub, she roams around with guys!! there are n number of irrational thoughts going in the mind of people, sadly ladies included.
To have someone who can understand surely goes a long way.
Once again thank you so much. :-)

Yup i know..The whole Society is to blame...their mindset has to change ! Imagine on National Tv Times Now, a defence lawyer of the accused in the Mumbai journalist case said i will kill my daughter if she wears clothes like this. I know the editor of the magazine she worked for. The whole office didnt know what to do ! When asked, God forbbid even when fully covered if anything happens to that idiotic lawyer's daughter, then whom will he blame !? According to him its the girls fault and i will kill her ! What the hell
! In Dec in Del case wen protests were going on in full force, 1 girl was already becoming a victim by 3 men in Noida ! Hypocricy !

We are leading and that too in a nation where they supposedly say that women are another form of Goddess, where little girls are worshiped each navratri, where people say it's a nation of culture.
Thank you so much.
I hope such victims do have that one person to completely rely upon. What ifs are scary, for I thought about it if I would like to portray more than this but I was unable, I couldn't do it. The idea seemed so horrifying to me that I couldn't.

I didn't saw it but my sister told me about everything. I was shocked would be an understatement. He tried to save them, for he was their lawyer, I can deal with it but being bitter after losing the case and talking nuisance was disgusting. Bloody male chauvinist!!!
Well when the reporter who was reporting about the victim in the morning got eve-teased by 3 men who were on bike, what can we expect more. It was recorded on camera!!!

Thanks for replying!

We share the same thoughts as far as the so-called love-at-first-sight goes!šŸ¤—

Some cases of torture come out in the open when women choose to oppose the oppression. Most of the times, women endure everything silently, between 4 walls, for numerous reasons. Even then, we cannot forget the cases where women often misuse the provisions of law and the natural inclination of law towards women. Such instances also cannot be ruled out.

IPKKND toh dil aur dimag mein chap chuka hai... Wish there was one ''undo'' button for this obsession towards one show.šŸ˜†

PM awaited!
