Chapter 15 (installment 1):
Evening 5.00 pm, ETF conference room.
Everyone gathered to share their findings & for case discussion. Two outsiders are also present.
All were watching the recordings of their morning investigation. Liza entered with some files and silently sat on her chair.
After an hour, when they finished with the recordings, Aisha put on the lights and Saakshi moved to the counter to make coffee for everyone.
Arjun : Liza, reports...
Liza passed him the file.
Liza : that blood was Jay's... Terrace se jo shoe marks mila woh vi usika hain.
Rathod : that means something was after him...he ran...reached to the edges and then slipped off... it's an accident.
Arjun : Don't jump to the conclusion, Rathod. Aisa nahi vi ho sakta hain... may be the chaser deliberately push him to that broken end... That he slipped off & fell.
Rathod : Then there should be two different sets of shoe marks, but we found only one set...now explain this.
Arjun : Aise bohot sare cheez hain jo iss waqt explain nahi karr paunga...lekin iska matlab yeh nahi ki koi explanation hain hi nahi. (Aisha & Saakshi served the beverage and sat at their places)...Aisha you found Jay's bracelet...how did it broke?
Aisha : May be he was trying to open a door and his bracelet tucked with the handle ...
Arjun : Give it to me...( Aisha passed the evidence bag)...Sonali, your one...(He spread his palm to her and she gave her bracelet. He looked closely both of them.)...you are right ,Aisha.
Rathod : tum dono ko woh passage main kuch mila?
Aisha : nothing... but this passage is linked to almost every room of the mansion... And we (looked at Saakshi) felt it is an oneway.
Arjun: How ?
Saakshi: Kyun ki woh saare doors sirf room ki andar se khula hain, those doors canant be opened from passage, door panels have no knobs, no key holes, nothing. Bilkut air tight dibbe ki dhakkan ki tarha frame me set ho jati hain, passage ki taraf se room main jana possible nahi hain.
Aisha : haan... sir, we checked almost every door, but couldn't open one.
Arjun : toh phir tum log bahar kaise aaye?
Aisha : May be he/she forgot to lock properly the prop room's door, we found it open and entered that room.
Rathod : But we checked other rooms, we found nothing...haan uss bathroom main laga ki ek aur raasta hain...but mila nahi.
Sonali : Purane jamane ka mechanism hain...upar se Yatin ne apna dimag lagake usko improvise kiya hain...itni asani se thori milegi.
Arjun: Yeh passage Yatin use karta tha?...
Sonali : Of course, yahi to tha uska trumpcard, sabko darane ke liye.kahin se ghusta thai, kahin se gayab hota tha. Arjun : Liza, what about that skeleton?
Liza : Death year 1995. The skeleton was processed for preservation, I found traces of preserving chemicals on it.
Rathod : Iska matlab ...
Arjun : Yatin was alive and that man knew it, he even helped him in his secret life.
Rathod : Aur mansion main uska skeleton Yatin hi leke aaya. But that glass coffin was very heavy, how did he do it alone.
Arjun : May be he was not alone... somebody helped him.
Rathod : It may be NC.
Arjun : How?..
Rathod passed him the book. Arjun took it, flip some pages and put it back on the table.
Arjun: This proves nothing, he just gifted this book, that's all.
Rathod : And Yatin read it between the lines...woh vi mark karke...and that bookmark...Two flying pigeons...NC ka trademark hain.
Arjun : Haan, but it don't prove NC involvement...
Rathod : NC gifted Yatin this book 15 days before his death, now tell me one frustrated man who is planning his suicide can read a book so attentively?...If your answer is yes, then I must say his nerves are made of steel...& NC started his farm after Yatin's death, toh yeh logo mansion main kaise aaya?
Arjun remained silent, his gaze was fixed on the book...& Rathod continued.
Rathod: And I found this in that room (he showed a red feather)...liza what do we know about this?
Liza : It's from a Brazilian Parrot, age 5 years, & it was shunned within last 2-3 days.
Rathod : And we know only one Brazilian parrot with same criteria. Hain na Rawte?
Arjun : NC told so many lies... but yeh Pinto hi ho zarori nahi.
Aisha : Sir, we saw only pigeons there, no parrots. Moreover, NC told us he keeps his parrots in cazes...only Pinto stays with him...
Rathod : Aur uski feather hawa main urke uss room main nahi poucha... kyun ki saare windows was closed.
Saakshi : Aur woh piche ki raasta...NC ko 10-15 minutes hi lagta hoga ghar-aur mansion main aane jane ke liye. Easily Yatin ko supplies milta raha...and he managed to live there.
Sonali : But yahan ek problem hain...NC & Yatin ke iss milivagat ka bare main Maya ko kuch to pata hona chahiye,...her past and present ek saath kuch karr raha hain, and she's totally in dark !! It's impossible.
Arjun : It's possible, may be the men had a deal. Yatin sacrificed Maya for his life.
Saakshi : If he sacrificed his life for Maya, than it would be logical. Log payaar ki liye jaan dete hain...Jaan ke liye payaar ki kurbani...yeh to pehli baar sunn rahi hoon.
Arjun : Kya pata... shayad payaar ke liye hi payaar ki kurbani de di. Kuch vi ho sakta hain.
Shree : But sir, what about that girl?
Arjun: Recording main chehra to aaya nahi...sketch banawalo...face dekhne ki baad hi kuch kaha jaa sakta hain... Tum logon ko aur kuch...
Shree : Sir, I need to study about the sound system...ek soundproof room ki sound pura mansion main sunai dena...normal nahi hain...and we couldn't found any microphone there, but I'm damm sure ki microphones hain.

Shree: Sir It is a steel door, and may be operated by some electric mechanism. It can be opened only from inside, bahar se khulne ka koi system nahi dekhi maine, but sir, that peephole like portion, may be its only a peephole or a part of remote mechanism.
Arjun : You mean bahar se khulne ke liye remote contol ka use kiya jata hain?
Shree : haan parr iss door ko andar ke tarf se dekhne ki baad hi main confirm karr paunga.
Arjun : OK, & NC ke bete...
Shree : NC ke dono bete ki koi information nahi hain...According to Bibha, dono bete ko Maya ki mom ne pala hain...aur in dono ko boarding school main daala gaya tha. Maya & NC harr saal 3 months ke liye Mumbai se bahar jaate hain...aur iss saal woh next month janewala hain.
Rathod : Travel details nikalo...
Shree : Kal first hour tak ready ho jayega sir, I'm working on it.
Arjun : Shree, tum un dono ki workplaces main...
Shree : I did sir. NY ki jis animal center main Yash kaam karte hain wahan ki employee list main koi Yash Swami nahi hain, but I found some Y. Mehra there. Details ke liye mail kiya hai, & waiting for their reply.
Saakshi : And Yogesh ki institute?
Shree : 32 Yogesh mila hain, 6 freshers hain...but no Swami.
Arjun : What about Mehra?
Shree : 374 hain...but one Yogesh Mehra hain...lekin...
Arjun : Lekin?
Shree : He's from Hydrabad...Koi Mumbai connction nahi hain.
Arjun : Phir vi, family background, travel details & baki sab check karo. Saakshi, did you...
Saakshi : (looked at Sonali) We talked with Vabesh kaka... He worked with Yatin for 8 years. According to him, Yatin was insane. ...& So his friends. Usko harr ajeeb cheez main interest tha. Shooting ke alawa 3 aur places pe regularly jaata tha, Mohali & Sons Auction house, R. Cornworth's resident and animal market. Aur agar kuch ajeeb mila tha toh uske liye jata tha...and did not used to thought about time & places.
Sonali : Each Saturday, he used to arrange a meeting in his mansion, 10 people used to come, stayed overnight & then left in the morning. There was no exception.
Arjun : Kaun kaun aata tha?
Sonali : Ruhi Sinha, makeup artist; R. Cornworth, magitian; Dino Pareera, junior artist; Kundan Shetty, veterenian serjen; Naren Mohali, auction house owner; Jagdish Mahatre,lawyear; Soham bose; political worker; Mohan Sharma, film critic; and two more men...Kaka unko jaanta nahi.
Arjun : Woh 10 aur ghar main 3, total 13... koi secret society ho sakta hain. But in sabko Vabesh janta kaise?
Saakshi : kyun kii kahi baar woh unko ghar jaa chukka tha, Yatin ki party main vi yeh sab regular guests the.
Arjun : And what did he tell you about NC?
Saakshi : NC ko jyada nahi dekha... ek do baar mansion me aate jaate dekha hain, but Yatin aur NC ko ek saath kavi dekha nahi...he have no idea about them.
Arjun : Usne Yatin ki naukri kyun chora?
Sonali : Usne nahi chora, Yatin khud usko nikal dia, yeh kehkar kii "I can't effort your salary anymore, so find yourself a job"...he gave him notice before three month and about 15-20 days before his death, Vabesh kaka joined us.
Arjun : Sonali, tum phir se NC ke ghar ja paogi?
Sonali : Haan...
Arjun : Then jitna ho sake pata karo, about his past and present, also their future plannings...Aur haan hum aaj mansion gaye the, iss baat ka jikar galati se vi maat karna...Maya aur Bibha se jitni ho sake information nikal lo. Shree, iss bird ko aaj pakar ke rakhna, kal lautane ki bahane Sonali ke saath chali jaa na.
Shree : OK sir.
Rathod : Aisha, send summons to these special peoples.
Aisha : We've sent it, sir. Agar woh nahi aaye toh main khud chali jaungi.
Rathod : Good.
