It was nearly 6pm when Arnav dropped Khushi home again and when walking up to the door, Khushi rung the doorbell only to be surprised when Adhira whipped open the door. Khushi gulped seeing her stern expression. Adhira walked out the house wearing a grey and blue cotton sari with her hands firmly together against her stomach. She looked over to Arnav narrowing her gaze on him seeing him for the first time. She glanced back at Khushi questioningly.

Khushi smiled nervously: " Nani...This is Ar..Arnav."

Adhira raised an eyebrow looking Arnav up and down before completely ignoring his kind greeting.

Adhira firmly: " Why are you so late Khushi?"

Khushi honestly: " Over time...Maddy needed help."

Adhira: " Really?."

Khushi was taken aback by Adhira's tone as she usually wasn't this strict to her. This wasn't the first time she had come home late becuase of work and Adhira never minded. In fact she'd come home more later becuase of work, so Khushi was unsure why Adhira was talking this way. Arnav however felt his jaw tense not liking this woman's tone with Khushi one bit especially when Khushi had done nothing wrong.

And nani I know the outburst is just directed at khushi because you are not happy with the fact your so favorite nk isn't the one dropping khushi no matter how late it is! No offense to nk here! The guy is the sweetest and so understanding! Gawd nani why cant you understand dammit!

Poor khushi now I hope asr doesn't emerge out from the Arnav that he is! I mean wolf!

What the hell is wrong with Adhira😡 I know that being protective of your granddaughter is natural for a grandmom, but she is too much. Even before getting to know Arnav she is judging him. I can see World War III on the way between Arnav & Adhira🤣

God, bring tomorrow as fast as you can😊
