loved the updt---loved kria--and the flashback

I loved the Krisha bonding and love which you showed in the beginning of the update... Then the flashback which you wrote down was beautiful... i could imagine the stern yet loving Sharon and i could also imagine the irritated and pouting Swayam the part was adorably cute...❤️.

Then yet again I loved it when Sharon goes back to being the doting and caring wife of Swayam by telling Kaka to make Lemon juice without sugar and salt so that he would get rid of his hangover... and the dreamy trance Swayam went in seeing Sharon in his bedroom was good to read too...😊.

I liked the reminiscing of moments where you showed the bond all 4 of them shared.. I yet wonder what could have gone so wrong which made Swayam take the step of pushing Sharon away from him... Also how can i forget i loved Sharon's monologue too it was bloody awesome...👍🏼.

You're writings are like wine tannu the older it gets and the better it gets cheers to that... Keep writing and spreading cheers with your write ups...😊.

Chapter 4

It had been a month since the divorce now.. Sharon ad Swayam both were living their life's normally.. That's what everyone thought.. But the truth was that both Swayam and Sharon were trying to keep themselves so busy that they didn't get time to think about the misery that they were going through.. Both were struggling to come out of it but as it seemed impossible they just thought of ignoring it..

It was a weekend and the first Sunday ever since the separation that Sharon was home.. But yet again she was busy working.. She had just had her breakfast and was fiddling with her laptop.. Kriya had even called her and said that they are coming over for dinner.. Sharon was engrossed in her work when she heard the door bell..

Sharon (confused): Iss waqt kaun hai??

As she was expecting no one she chose to just go and receive whoever it was.. As she opened the door she stood rooted to her place with wide eyes.. She was shocked to see the person standing there.. An aged man stepped in with a warm smile on his face.. He stepped in and placed his hand on Sharon's head..

Man: How are you Sharon beta?

Sharon (shocked): Papa?? Aap??

Man (placing his hand on her cheek) : Haan! Kyun main apni beti ko milne nahi aa sakta?!

Without waiting for another second Sharon hugged him.. He placed his one hand on her head and the other on her shoulder.. He was none other than Mr.Rishi Shekhawat.. Swayam's dad.. He had always took Sharon as his own daughter and there surely shared a very close bond no matter what.. There were times when Swayam wouldn't talk to him but Sharon had a regular chat.. But suddenly during the crucial period of their divorce she hadn't spoken to him.. She unknowingly had started crying hugging him.. He started pacifying her as he heard her sniff a few time..

Rishi: Aare! Meri beti ro kyun rahi hai?? Shhh.. chup ho jao..

He broke the hug and held Sharon by her shoulder.. Sharon had her head held down and tears yet rolling down..

Rishi: Sharon.. Main yahan tumse milne aaya hoon.. Tumhe rulane nahi.. Chalo aansun pocho..

Sharon like an obedient kid wiped her tears and looked up at Rishi..

Rishi: Now that's like a good girl.. Ab yahan hi khaade rehna hai ya tum mujhe andar bhi bulaogi??

Sharon realised that they were yet at the door and hit her forehead..

Sharon: Oh! I'm so sorry Papa.. (holding his hand) Chaliye.. Andar chaliye..

She lead him to the sofa and told him to sit as she moved to the kitchen to get him some water and make some tea.. While Rishi was sitting waiting for Sharon to come, he saw he laptop laying there with its screen facing him.. He saw that she was doing some work and the very next second he saw the screen-saver playing pictures to Swayam and her back to back.. All the happy moments they had spent.. They dating.. Their marriage.. Their honeymoon.. Their holidays.. Their weekends.. Parties and what not.. There also played a few pictures of Swayam alone with all sort of funny expressions or pouts.. Rishi smiled looking at the pictures but at the same time his heart ached making way for moist eyes..

Rishi (in mind): Why my kids? Why them? They love each other so much.. Then what went so wrong? What made them take such a huge decision without even seeking my advice.. I need to know.. Maybe I can do something.. Maybe I can get that smile back on to Sharon and Swayam's face.. Maybe..

Rishi's thoughts were interrupted when he heard Sharon..

Sharon (walking from the kitchen with a tray): Papa! Aapke liye garma-garam chai tayaar hai with less milk and just half a spoon sugar..

Sharon walked to him with the best smile possible but then she also noticed Rishi trying to hide his moist eyes from her..

Rishi: Aare wah! You remember?!

Sharon: Why won't??!

Sharon looked at him with confused eyes and then saw her laptop playing those pictures and understood the reason behind Rishi's tears.. She handed him his cup and closed the laptop immediately.. And sat on the adjacent sofa with her cup.. She had also laid a few snacks infront for both of them to dig in..

Sharon: Waise Papa aap wapas kab aaye? Mujhe bataya bhi nahi?!

Rishi (sipping his tea): Bas abhi aaya.. Seedha Airport se yahan tumhe surprise dene..

Sharon (surprised): Iska matlab aap abhi tak Sway.. I mean aap abhi tak ghar nahi gaye??

Rishi: Socha pehle apni beti se mil lu phir toh ghar hi jaana hai..

Sharon (pouting): Haan.. Haan yeh apka ghar thodi na hai?!

Rishi (giggling): Accha woh sab chodo.. yeh batao kaisi ho? Kaam kaisa chal raha hai?

Sharon (smiling): Main ek dum theek.. Kaam bhi kaafi accha chal raha hai infact kaafi naaye projects bhi mil rahe hai.. Aap bataiye? Aap kaise ho? Dawai time se lete ho ya nahi?? Doctor ke paas last check up ke liye kab gaye the?

Rishi: Aare aare sans toh le lo.. Aur itne saare sawal! Main bilkul theek hu.. Aur ab apna khayaal rakhna bhi seekh gaya hoon..

They chatted like that for a while.. Rishi was noticing that Sharon though was laughing it felt incomplete.. She didn't look the Sharon he knew for all these years.. Both were laughing over something when Rishi felt like asking the questions he had in his mind all this while..

Rishi: Sharon beta ek baat puchu? Sachs ach bataogi?

Sharon: Ji Papa.. Puchiye..

Rishi: yeh sab kyun beta? Aisa kya ho gaya tum dono ke beech? Aur tumne yeh baat mujhse bhi nahi kahi.. Pehle toh harr choti choti cheez pe meri advice leti thi.. Itna bada kadam utha liye aur ek baar bhi apne Papa ko batana zaruri nahi samjha?!

Sharon knew this was coming her way.. She was trying to avoid it as much as she could because she didn't know how to face it.. It was true that she had shared the smallest problems with Rishi because he was the only fatherly figure in her life.. She didn't even remember her parents as they had passed away when she was very small.. Kriya was the one who took care of her and then came Rishi.. He loved her so much that she didn't feeling the absence of her parents.. And the biggest proof to this was that she address him as Papa even before she and Swayam had got married.. She took a deep breath and looked down at her fidgeting fingers..

Sharon (fumbling): Papa.. woh.. actually.. Sw-ay-am.. woh.. Swayam yeh chahta tha..

Rishi (confused): Swayam chahta tha matlab??

Sharon (with tears): Swayam mera saath nahi chahta tha.. Toh usse jo chahiye tha.. Maine usse de diya..

*FLASHBACK*

2 months before Divorce..

Sharon came home early from work.. She walked in with huge number of bags and a bunch of flowers in her hand.. Kaka came and took the bags from her hand..

Sharon: Kaka, aap aaj jaldi ghar jaa sakte hai.. Aur haan driver aur Gopal ko bhi bol dijiye jaane ke liye..

Kaka: par bitiyaan abhi toh raat ka khaana bana na baaki hai..

Sharon: Haan woh main kar lungi.. Aaj Swayam ke liye main khaana bana rahi hu.. Toh aap sab jaa sakte hai..

Kaka: Ji.. Theek hai..

She then went to their room to freshen-up while all the servants left.. Changing herself into a comfortable dress she moved to the kitchen.. She took as the bag and started her work..

Sharon (to herself): Toh aaj Mr.Shekhawat is in for a surprise.. Waise bhi pichle kuch months se things are not going good between us.. Swayam bhi itna weird behave karta hai.. Harr choti choti baat pe naraaz ho jaata hai.. Zarur kaam ka koi tension hoga.. Toh chalo aaj zara mere hubby ko pamper kiya jaaye.. Uske pasand ka khaana banaungi toh atleast aaj toh fight nahi karega.. God! Mujhe toh yaad bhi nahi hai last maine aur Swayam ne kab akele kuch time spend kiya tha.. Our relation has suddenly become so stressful.. But now no more.. I so want my Old Swayam back.. Hmph! I just hope aaj unka mood accha ho..

Sharon continued with her work.. She chopped a few vegetables.. Washed the rice.. Cooked all his favourite dished.. A good meal and his favourite dessert as well.. It took her about 2-3 hours to finish all of it single-handedly.. She then laid the table for two and moved to the centre table.. She took the flowers and put them in different pots and vases around the room.. Then she lit up a few scent candles in their room and also around the living room giving all of it a romantic touch.. The yellow lights were just adding to the atmosphere.. Just as she was throwing away the rubbish she heard the click of the front door.. She walked out of the kitchen with a huge smile on her face to greet him..

As soon as she came out she saw Swayam walking straight to their room without even sparing a glance to all the effort she had taken.. Sensing some problem she walked behind him.. He was in their room removing his nightware from the cupboard..

Sharon (entering the room): Hey baby.. Kya baat hai? Tum theek toh ho na?!

Swayam avoided her gaze, took his clothes and went to the bathroom.. Sharon found his behaviour weird.. She waited for him to come out.. Here Swayam took all the time in the world to change as he just wanted to avoid her at the moment.. He came out after about 20 minutes.. avoided her gaze and walked straight to the study.. Sharon followed him and saw him sitting there and opening some files..

Sharon: Swayam baat kya hai?? Please baat karo mujhse..

Swayam (rudely): Sharon let me work!

Sharon was trying her best not to get irritated as she didn't want to fight once again.. She controlled herself and walked to him.. Kneeling down next to his chair she placed her hand on his one hand that was on his lap.. Swayam looked at her with cold eyes and a blank face.. She flinched a bit as she had never seen these eyes devoid to emotions in all the years she had known him.. She continued looking at them to find the reason behind all his coldness..

Sharon: Swayam I know in the past few months we have fought a lot.. Infact kabhi kabhi toh bina reason ke bhi hum jhagde hai.. but now lets end it.. Main tumhare saath aur nahi jhagad sakti.. kya hum pehle jaise nahi ho sakte?.. Can't we just forget all of this and start a fresh.. Please Swayam.. Main tumhara yeh cold behaviour aur handle nahi kar paungi.. Please..

Swayam (coldly): Ho gaya?! Can I get back to work now?

Sharon closed her eyes trying to control the urge of shouting at him for being so cold and also to control the tears that were trying to flow out feeling the pricks of his words.. She let out a sigh and got up to leave.. Just as she had taken a step or two she heard..

Swayam: Tum jaane se pehle inn papers pe tumhare sign chahiye the toh padhke sign kar dena..

Sharon turned to look at him and saw him fiddling with his laptop and a file that he had put out for her.. She took the file and looked at him confused..

Sharon: Yeh kya papers hai?

Swayam (working): Padhi likhi ho na.. Khud padhlo..

Sharon was used to his behaviour so just thought of going through the papers herself.. She opened the file and saw some legal papers clipped in.. Then she read the title in bold and underlined just next to the middle of the page.. She went numb reading it.. She didn't believe her eyes and just didn't know what to say or how to react.. her eyes travelled toward the text and the only thing she could read with her blurry eyes was Mr. Swayam Rishi Shekhawat and Mrs. Sharon Swayam Shekhawat.. She looked at Swayam for a moment who was busy with his work.. She didn't know what to say as her mind too had gone all numb.. She had actually lost all the strength to think after looking at these papers..

Sharon (choking): Y..eh.. Yeh kya.. hai??

Swayam (while working): Divorce papers.. Padha nahi kya?

Sharon's anger knew no bounds now.. all her irritation.. pain.. anger took over her mind.. She held Swayam's collar and pulled him to look at her.. Swayam looked at her with the same expression less face and he also noticed the tears that had started following without her knowledge..

Sharon (angry): What the hell do you think of yourself Mr. Swayam Shekhawat?! Is this some kind of a joke?? If it is then its sick and pathetic of you to do something like this..

Swayam (standing up from his chair): It not a joke.. Its just my way of mending my mistake..

Sharon: Mistake?? This is how you mend mistakes?? (holding the file in her hand) These stupid papers are your way to mend your mistakes??

Swayam (coldly): Yes!

Sharon (holding his collar, shouting): Swayam tumhe ho kya gaya hai?? Tum jaante bhi ho tum kya bol rahe ho!!! Tum mujhse.. Apni Sharon se door hona chahte ho??

Swayam: Haan!

Sharon (crying): Kyun?? Kyun kar rahe ho yeh sab?? Agar koi problem hai toh mujhse kaho.. (wiping her tears) Chalo ek kaam karte hai.. Hum hai na bahar jaake baithke baat karte hai.. Jo bhi problems hai milke solve kar denge (keeping the file on the table) Iski koi zarurat nahi hai.. (holding his arm) Chalo! Chalo hum baat karke sab sort out kar denge..

She was trying to pull him but he had not budged an inch.. He was just looking at her maintaining his expressionless face.. There was a continuous stream running down her eyes.. As he wasn't coming with her she got frustrated and hit him on his chest in irritation..

Sharon (anger and irritation): Ho kya gaya hai tumhe?.. Tum mere saath chal kyun nahi rahe ho??.. Tum mere baat ignore kaise kar sakte ho (pulling his arm) Chalo yahan se!

Swayam (pulling back his hand, shouting): Enough Sharon!!! Stop behaving like a kid! Humesha tumhari yeh zidd nahi chalegi..

Sharon (shouting back): I'm behaving like a kid or you are!.. What's wrong with you?! Humare beech kuch problems kya ho gayi tum unhe handle naa karke itna bada kadam uthane jaa rahe the! And you say I'm behaving like a kid.. Are you a bloody coward to run away from problems!

Swayam (angry): I'm not a bloody coward! Do you get that! In fact humare beech ke inn sab fights ki wajahse se I've realised ke yeh shaadi kitni badi MISTAKE hai!

Sharon went numb listening to what he said.. She looked at him with wide eyes.. She felt as if she wasn't talking to her Swayam.. This person standing in front of her can't be her Swayam.. Her Swayam can never take such a step and more over he can never think about calling their marriage a 'mistake'..

Sharon (mumbling): Mistake?

Swayam (shouting): Yes! This marriage is nothing but a Bloody Mistake!!!

Sharon (yet in shock): Yeh tum kya bol rahe ho??

Swayam: Wohi jo tum sunn rahi ho.. I want this divorce.. I don't want you as a part of my life anymore..

Sharon was trying to be positive but he just wasn't letting her.. the fear of losing him was scaring her to the core.. She didn't know what to do to stop them from falling apart.. She can't let this happen.. She just can't let this happen..

Sharon (cupping his face): Swayam maine koi galti kar di kya? Then I'm really very sorry.. But please don't do this to me.. don't do this to US.. Main tumhare bina nahi reh paungi..

Swayam (removing her hand): There is no US anymore.. And my decision is final.. I want to get separated.. I want MY life back!!!

Sharon's limbs dropped.. She crashed down on the floor as Swayam walked out of his study.. All her senses had given up.. She felt nothing.. Her eyes were streaming and her heart was sinking.. She sat there lifeless..

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Sharon had started sobbing as she told Rishi everything.. He immediately got up and sat next to her.. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and tried to pacify her.. She continued sobbing remember that one night that had got a drastic change in her and Swayam's life.. Rishi had tears in his eyes too but there was another question he couldn't stop himself from asking..

Rishi: Par usne aisa decision kyun liya?

Sharon (between her sobs): Pata nahi..

Rishi chose to not ask anything ahead and sat there trying to pacify her.. As her sobs reduced to small sniffs they heard the door.. Rishi got up and opened the door just to find Kriya there.. Kriya was no less shocked to find Rishi there.. She entered and saw Sharon wiping her tears and no soon was she by her side hugging her..

Kriya was known to the equation Rishi and Sharon shared so didn't ask her anything.. After a while the three of them sat chatting and laughing.. They had lunch together and just then Rishi left for home.. Kriya avoided asking Sharon anything about the discussion she had with Rishi as she somewhere knew what exactly might have happened..

Here Rishi had reached the Shekhawat mansion and was received by his shocked son.. Swayam couldn't believe his dad was standing there.. He had been missing him alot from the past few days but avoided calling him because he wanted to avoid the questions just like Sharon.. He actually rubbed his eyes once.. twice.. and then thrice.. but he wasn't hallucinating.. It was his father standing there in his room.. right in front of him..

Swayam: Dad! Aap?!!!

Rishi (smiling): Haan beta main!!!

Swayam literally jumped on his father and hugged him tight.. He so wanted his dad all this while but also knew that his dad would find it difficult to see both his kids in this condition as he was well aware how Sharon and Rishi were..

Swayam (tightening his grip): Missed you dad!!!

Rishi (ruffling his hair): Missed you too Son!

Both broke the hug and got seated on the bed.. Swayam was now smiling wide but his happiness too felt incomplete..

Swayam: Aap ne mujhe pehle bataya kyun nahi? Main airport aa jaata aapko lene..

Rishi: Aare kamal hai tum bachon ko surprise karna tha iss liye bina bataye aa gaya..

Swayam (confused): Bachon ko???

It took him a few minute to get his dad's words.. He smiled as he understood what his dad said but hid his smile and looked at his dad expectedly..

Swayam (softly): Aap.. Aap Sharon se mile??

Rishi (smiling): Haan main Sharon se mila..

Swayam (in a single breath): Kaisi hai woh? Theek toh hai na? Busy toh nahi thi? Jyada kaam toh nahi kar rahi hai na?! Uski tabiyat kaisi hai? Khud ka dhyaan toh rakh rahi hai na??

Rishi was taken aback with the number of questions Swayam shot at him in a single breath.. He was also surprised as after what he had heard a few hours back felt like Swayam didn't care about Sharon but looking at him now Rishi was even more confused.. If his son still cared for Sharon.. Still loved her so much then what made him take such a decision?.. Why was he making his and her life so difficult???
