The beginning was quite cute: Khushi lifting up her sari to confirm that she's wearing her anklets, just because her husband didn't turn around at her approach but seemed lost in thought. Their ensuing conversation gives a touching display of simple domesticity, with Khushi giving various instructions and Arnav quietly listening to all... Loved Arnav's warning and Khushi's cheeky reply: Agar maine phone kiya aur tumne nahi uthaya na toh u've had it! Pallu se baandh k rakh denge phone ko! Nice to see Arnav not flying into the boughs on hearing it. Their concern for each other is palpable in the way each reminds the other not to skip meals. Her text message was heart-warming, especially this part: Agar humein pataa chalaa ki aap uss ki taraf ho gaye aur ussne doodh nahi piya toh aap dono ki khair nahi! Arnav asking for NK's help then threatening him of dire consequences if he's late is amusing... he's truly adept at emotional manipulation! Khushi feeling Arnav's presence then dismissing the idea and later feeling disappointed at his absence [in adherence to her wishes] and then being absolutely sure that he's around are all endearing as is Arnav's thoughtful gesture of sending food for her. You've really caught the nuances of Khushi's and Arnav's speech... I can imagine them actually mouthing the dialogues! Main yahaan sirf apne bhai ka dance dekhne k liye aaya hoon... shrewd move, Arnav! On the pretext of not ruining his outfit with alta, Arnav going topless so he could crush his Khushi in his arms is just awww... quite a few of your readers must be in seventh heaven right about now! Nice reminder of his shirtless scene in the show when he hurt his back. Each admonishing the other for not having eaten properly and for ignoring their own wishes for that of others are quite moving scenes... Arnav being Arnav, I am sure he'll find a way to keep his vow to Khushi and also to watch his beautiful wife's dance! Maybe, he can take a leaf from slimy Shyam's book and watch on CCTV! Eagerly awaiting the next part!
