Chapter 4 :

All come down for having tea. NK & khushi sit next to each other and are happily chatting with each other. Arnav sees this, at first gets angry but then he keeps quiet. Shyam sees this and tries to start casual conversation.

Shyam : Are Khushiji Tell me what are you and NK bhai planning?

Khushi stiffens and NK notices this and then he sees payal & khushi getting disgusted hearing his voice. He thinks what happened. Arnav clench his jaw, khushi sees this but then before arnav could answer khushi answers.

Khushi : Shyamji it is none of your business to poke your nose in my matter. I am here just for 6 months as per the contract which Mr. Arnav Singh Raizaada has prepared. I dont like to be questioned. I will never interfere in your family matters and i expect the same. Dont worry about the money which you will be spending on me for providing food. I am going to earn and will pay some money as rent for staying in such a luxury house and also for the food. And shyamji its better you dont interfere in my business at all.

Shyam(in anger) : How dare you speak with me like this khushi. Dont forget it was me who gave you the address to join AR after you left lucknow.

Now all were shocked, arnav was frozen in his chair after hearing this. He now knew that all this was shyam's plan to get khushi and khushi dint know anything.

Khushi : Mind your words shyamji. U saved me from goons in lucknow and i am only thankful for that. But after that whatever happened in my life is all because of you. I should have never agreed to go join AR, after knowing who its owner is i should have left the place but my hands were tied.

Anjali :Shyamji u met khushiji in lucknow. What happen in lucknow?

Khushi : Now will you all excuse me. Nanheji aren't we getting late. Let me change and then we will leave nanheji.

Khushi goes to her room, gets freshen up and changes into a cream color anarkali dress. She comes down and just sess everybody. She sees aranv and then calls NK and moves out with him.

Khushi's Dress :

At XYZ Hotel :

Rahul owns this hotel and other hotels. He is into catering business.He did catering course since he always loved cooking. He mom was his inspiration.Rahul was NK's best friend He studied with NK in Sydney. He was waiting in the lawn for NK & Khushi. He informs his manager to bring them to the lawn. On the other side, khushi and NK leave RM. Khushi was too angry and disgusted living in the same house with that creep shyam. NK kept quiet for sometime but then when khushi dint take any time of calming he decided to make a conversation.

NK : So khushiji, when i will get a treat.

Khushi : Huh?

NK : Ofo khushiji. I am asking for treat, lunch or dinner or even a coffee treat will do.

Khushi : Treat why nanheji. Its not my birthday nor any function.

NK(making sad face) : So you wont treat me for getting job.

Khushi : Nanheji, i am just going to meet your friend. Who knows what his expectations will be.

NK : Khushiji i know how well you cook. U put your full effort in whatever you do. I know you will be successful in whatever you do.

Khushi : Thank you nanheji.

NK & khushi reach the hotel. They were informed that rahul is waiting for them in the lawn and were guided to the lawn. Rahul saw NK & a beatiful lady entering the lawn. He was shocked to see the simplicity in the girl. A simple cream and red dress. No makeup. Just kohl to enlighten her eyes. They reach rahul and he asks them to sit on the sofa arranged for them.

NK : Khushiji please meet rahul. Rahul meet my friend & bhabhi Khuhiji.

Rahul : Hello khushiji.

Khushi : Namaste rahulji.

Rahul : U can call me rahul.

NK : Ok rahul now coming straight to the point. Khushiji cooks really well she wants to start her own catering business. Can you please help her.

Rahul : Hmm as per your words and confidence NK i am sure you both are upto closing my business. What say khushji.

Khushi : Nahi nahi rahulji. I mean i . i.. I am a daughter of halwaii. My baabuji Shashi Gupta was very famous in lucknow. He started Swastik Mishti Bhandaar in lucknow. It was famous mitai shop. But then so many things happened that he had to sell his shop, now my baabuji has a stroke and cannot work. I need to support my family. I can cook. From less to more people. Right now i need this job. I dont have anything else to say. All i request you is give me one chance to prove myself. If your not satisfied then i am sorry.

Rahul : I know khushiji the pain of starting all alone. I can see the confidence and fire in your eyes to achieve something. U remind me myself when i wanted to start business. So i started this business and also take up small and large scale catering orders.What is your husband doing. Are you married to Akash?

NK : No way Rahul. She is married to Khadoos ASR. Akash married her sister payalji.

Rahul : What you are married to ASR and still you want to work.

NK sees khushi getting hurt and frustrated by hearing nannav's name so he spoke.

NK : Lets not get into that rahul. Right now tell us can you please help khushiji.

Rahul : Ok then khushiji. You are appointed a chef here. U will undergo training for 1 month. But for that you need to pass a simple test.

Khushi(smiling & nervous) : Thank you rahulji. Tell me what i should do.

Rahul : Well khushiji i have an order for 50 people, its a sangeet function in ashok nagar. I want to you to prepare good lunch and dinner. The sangeet is tomorrow. Are you ready to take up this challenge khushiji.

Khushi : Thank you rahulji. I am ready. I will try my best.I will not disappoint you nor naheji.

Rahul : Alright then you can come here by 9 am tomorrow. and call me. I will introduce you to the rest of the staff.

NK : Alright then khushiji. Now that my work is done after your success tomorrow i want a treat.

Khushi : Sure nanheji. Thank you naheji. If it wasn't you.

Silent tears roll down her cheeks. NK moves towards her and holds her hand.

NK : Khushiji, my desi girl. I have said this before but i am telling it again. U might be my bhabhi, but first you are my friend. I will always be with you as your friend and devar.

NK & khushi thank rahul again and all the three move towards the hotel.Rahul sees how happy she is and thinks his days when he achieved his first success. He silently wishes khushi all the best. He meets his manager introduces khushi to him and tell him that she will be joining for work tomorrow. And also to inform him when they arrive. He asks to send a car to pick up khushi. But NK says he will drop khushiji and will not leave till he gets his treat from khushiji. Rahul also joins NK and tell then he also needs a treat. Khushi agrees and thanks rahul once again. NK & khushi move out. Khushi is on cloud 9. She wanted to thank devi maiyaa. She asks NK to go to temple. NK & khushi to go temple.She thanks devi maiyaa for this first step in her life. Then both go to have chaat and return home.

NK is a great friend ...i loved that character ...sometimes its only a friend that can help us keep floating and keep our head out of water when drowning

why because even though they dont know her that well they still trust her to do this
funny the one man who claims to love her cant do the same
so now he is getting it
well too late mate
you have ruined things by your own hands
and there is no one but you to blame for this
and i am proud of khushi even though so much happened she is still has the strength to start again

Hello friends,

My main intention is to not only show khushi as strong, but also independent. She is hurt cuz as we all saw(in IPKKND) khushi believes in marriage which is a sacred bond not only between two people which connects two souls forever. But arnav not only crushed her dreams of wedding but made her bow into this marriage. I wanted him to repent. In future chapters you will all see many changes. Please let me know you suggestions as well. I hope i am able to keep this story in right track.

Chapter 5 :
Arnav asks shyam to meet him in his room. Shyam enters his room. Arnav immediately grabs his collar and pushes him to the wall.
Arnav(angry) : How dare you? How dare you play so cheap tricks. Mind your work shyam. Khushi is my wife.
Shyam(shocked) : Saale saab. Wh...What are you doing. I am your jeejaji.
Arnav : Cut the crap shyam. I know your dirty games and mind you. I will not hesitate to teach you a lesson if i see you anywhere near khushi.
Saying this he leaves his collar and moves to poolside. Shyam throws an angry look and walks out of the room. Khushi and NK arrive RM. They see the entire family sitting in the living room. Khushi doesnt bother and moves towards her the stairs to go to her room/. But she stops when payal called her.
Payal : Khushi where were you? I was worried.
Khushi : you dont need to worry about me Mrs. Payal Akash Singh Raizaada. I am capable of handling things my way. Anyway i was not alone. I had nanheji with me. So stop showing this fake concern.
Payal : How can you say this khushi. I am your siste.. But was cut off by khushi.
Khushi(raising her voice) : My Step sister. Mind it Mrs. Payal Akash Singh Raizaada. You was my Jiji. But then you proved me that you were my step sister and now the bahu of this house. And please i need rest. I am tired.
She calls HP and asks him to bring tea for her and moves to her room. Payal sees the change in khushi and starts crying. NK was the most confused. HE knows khushi can never hurt anybody but the why is she so rude with all of them. He decides to wait for sometime and then ask her.
Khushi moves to her room. She goes to bathroom and changes into simple clothes. She comes out at the same time arnav comes into the room. They both collide and khushi was about to fall but arnav holds her. They share an eye lock but khushi balances herself and breaks the eye lock.
Arnav :You are home. Where did you go? I.. I... am sorry khushi.
Khushi : Mr. Raizaada, are you alright. I mean the mighty ASR is asking sorry. Did i hear it or am i dreaming. Whatever i am tired and i am in no mood to hear you.
HP knocks the door. Khushi takes the tea and drinks it. She orders HP to prepare some light dinner for her. HP nods and takes the cup and leaves. Khushi moves to the bed and lie down and soon sleeps. Arnav just stand there staring at her.
Soon his anger increases thinking how she never bothered to hear what he wanted to tell. But then he thinks what happened to her and where did she go with NK. He decides to check with NK and moves out of the room.
He meets everybody in the living room. As usual maami is taunting payal and khushi. He asks NK where he went but NK just sees at him blankly and moves to his room. All see this. Naani was shocked seeing khushi's behaviour. She knows khushi can never be rude at anybody. She decides to speak with her and then to chotte. Arnav moves to his room and starts working. Soon it was time for dinner. HP comes and call arnav for dinner. Khushi was still sleeping. Arnav moves towards her and wakes her up. He stares at him blankly and moves to bathroom, get freshen up and goes down to have dinner.
The dinner was silent affair. Only NK & khushi was talking. After dinner all decided to retire for the day.Arnav was thinking for to make khushi speak or listen to what he wanted to say. By the time he came to his room she was asleep. He changed into his night dress and lie beside her and soon fall asleep.
The next morning khushi got up early, went to pray and made breakfast only for her. She told HP to prepare breakfast for everybody. She meets NK and waits for him to finish his breakfast. She was in her room getting ready. She was wearing a blue chudidar.

Khushi's Dress :

She comes down, by then NK was ready. She just moves out without informing anybody. All were really shocked to see this side of khushi. Naani decided to take the matter in her hands.

Naani : Chotte what is this. What have you done to khushi bitiya? She was not like this. What is the reason she is behaving like this. I need answer chotte. You married her for 6months. What is happening in this house.

Arnav : Naani please dont ask anything since i dont have answer to any of your questions.

Anjali : No chotte you have to answer me.

Arnav : Please di leave it. She will be here and then after 6 months let her decide what she wants.

Saying this he gets up and leaves for office. Here NK & khushi reach the hotel. She meets the manager who inturn leads her to the kitchen. Manager informs Rahul about khushi's and NK's arrival. Khushi soon makes friends with other chefs and starts cooking. She prepares all lucknowi food. Rahul arranges transport for the lunch carried to the place. Khushi volunteers that she will go and serve them. Soon khushi arrive to the place where the sangeet was to be held. She serves the lunch and all praise the cook. She is happy that she was able to satisfy them. She comes to the hotel and tell the same to rahul and NK. Rahul was very impressed with her and appoints her as a chef. She prepares dinner for the function. Rahul is very impressed. Soon NK & khushi leave the hotel and make their way to RM.
