Chapter-2: The bet

Arnav is very simple guy and very studious in studies. He never paid attention to any girl and never talk with any girl accept his di. Girls always drool over him but he avoid talking to any girl. His only motive is to study hard and to reach heights of success.

Arnav don't have parents. He has only one sister and she is the world for him. His biggest aim is to become top fashion designer and give lot of happiness and all luxury to his sister. With the help of scholarship, he took admission in the top college of delhi. Today is the first day of his college. When he enter, he saw a girl is running and her foot slip so quickly he balance her. The only word escape from his mouth, 'tum theek ho''.

Khushi in her thoughts...

When I meet his chocolate brown eyes, i got totally lost in another world. Don't know what is happening with me? Why i m feeling so restless,may i m not feeling well. Something is definitely wrong with me. I never feels like this. May be i become mad in that boy dream.

Khushi! tu bhi na bilkul pagal hain!! kuch bhi karti hain,tera kuch nahi ho sakhta. Har jage tujhe ushi ka hi khayal ata rehta hain. Abhi tera ye haal hain pata nahi jab vo tere samne ayega tab tera kya haal hoga. (Khushi! you are totally mad...do anything..everytime you always think about him. Don't know what will happen when he came in front of you) She hit her head while blabbering.)

Arnav gave her weird look by seeing her like this. Is she mad, why she is staring me like this? Lagta hain iska pech dheela. acha hi hoga main jaldi se nikal lu. Vaise bhi sari ladkiya pagal hoti hain unse dur hi rehna hi acha hain. Nikal le arnav varna pata nahi ye kya karegi tere saath.(I think her screw of brain is loose..its will be good if i will leave from here soon. Go from here arnav quickly... afterall all girls are crazy)

With that he leave from there leaving the confused khushi behind.

She sit in canteen waiting for her best friend lavanya to come from class as she is late in attending lecture.

All other friends shanaya, navika and ranjana also join lavanya and sit with her. Lavanya is her only best friend. She don't like these three girls. They always taunt her by calling her behenji. Khushi always avoid them.

'Hey khushi..whats up'. Said lavanya.

I m fine yaar. Tell me what pathak sir tell about me.

Is he again angry with me? I m again late.

Before lavanya say anything, shanaya speak in between.
Chal chod na tu bhi kya hamesha padayi ke baare mein baat karti rehti hain. Kuch aur bata..life mein studies ke alava bhi bahat kaam hain karne ko (Just forget it na why always you think about studies.) There is many more things to do other than studies.

Shanaya wink by saying it. Khushi gave her angry look.

'Ok listen u know what one hot gave entry in the college'. Navika said amusingly.

Really! Is he really that hot? Ranjana said excitedly.

'Yah he is damn good looking yaar. Today first time i saw him.
Yupp!!My boyfriend told me. He is his friend. Shanaya spoke.
But what his name?
His name is arnav singh raizada. Khushi didn't gave interest in their non sense talk but by hearing his name, she feel something in her heart but can't understanding what it is!!

Oh common yaar if you all wanted to talk such useless thing i m going from here. With that khushi stand up to leave.

Oh yah.. i know after all behnji didn't have any guts to just make any boyfriend till now then how you will take interest in our talks.With that all started teasing her.

Khushi get very angry. She have tears in her eyes but she immediately wipe it so that no one thought that she is weak. No i m not weak, she say herself again and again.

Lavanya gave them angry glare by saying such hurtful things to khushi.

'How dare you call me bhenji', Khushi said with anger filled eyes.

Oh really if you are not behanji then prove it. Shanaya said by smirking.

Oh stop it guys why you are fighting.in just a small thing ans you all guys why you all are hell bend behind khushi!! Please spare her. Lavanya speak to bring little calmness in atmosphere.

No la, they always thing i m good for nothing but not anymore. Now i will show them what khushi gupta is!! Just mark my words i will make the most charming guy to fall in love with me within 1 week and that's my challenge. Just remember that!

Ok deal..u will make the new guy of the college arnav singh raizada fall in love with you. Are you ready?

Then its done within 1 week he will bend down in his own feet just for me and propose me in front of whole college and you will all see it in your own eyes and i will see who is behanji. If i m successful in this bet you all will do what i will say and if i m unsuccessful then what you all will say i will do without any objection understand.Khushi said by pointed her finger toward them.

All nodded their head and with that she leave from there leaving behind scared lavanya. ''Hope she doesn't fall in their trap and don't do anything stupid which she will regret later''. Lavanya think.

She then saw on their smirking faces and say,'are you all mad... why you always trouble her? Don't you all have other work despite of teasing my friend? Don't you dare to say anything against to my friend again. Do you all understand!! Lavanya spoke with anger in her face.

Oh really if we say it again what you will do? Ranjana said with the same anger.

'I know sweetheart..she won't be get succeeded in this bet. She will fail and i am waiting for that day eagerly'. navika said smirking.

''Oh just shut and i don't want to listen about your non-sense. And why i m listening your shit i m going''. With that Lavanya leave and the girls gave high fie to each other. Poor girl...she will regret by challeging us. All smile devilishly.

I have to stop khushi to do this non sense act. I won't allow her to play with anyone emotions...i have to make her understand to forget about this stupid bet...its wrong. After all they all want khushi to get in trouble and will again get a chance tocreate a mess in her life. They always trouble her. Since the day she entered in college, these stupid girls didn't lose a chance to humiliate her in front of all. Don't know what they have problem with her. Why they didn't let her live in peace and do their own work. With that lavanya started searching her in college to talk with her. Hope she is fine. Where are you khushi?
