Hmmm. I feel sort of cold-hearted, I have to admit, because all of Arnav's "I hurt you -- to hurt me!" doesn't change the fact for me that he did hurt Khushi, over and over again, and he's only now realizing the depth of his actions. It's like the more he talks, the more he sounds like he's justifying his actions to me. I know he's trying to express his true feelings to Khushi, but the problem for me is that nothing can justify all the crap he put her through, no matter how much he realizes NOW that he loves her. And I guess the larger problem for me is that Khushi has very good reasons to believe that he will not be a good husband to her, based on ALL of his previous behavior, and Arnav still sounds like he's just trying to get what he wants with this outpouring of "this is what I was really feeling while I was tormenting you endlessly." It's not making me sympathize with him, in fact it's just reminding me of him being a jerk.

It's a dilemma I think any fan of the couple faces -- Arnav's behavior really was unforgivable, so how do you move on from that? I think for me, it's not by Arnav talking about how he was really feeling all this love while he was dragging Khushi through hell. It's by Arnav actually changing, including giving Khushi the freedom to choose, instead of trying to force his choice on her.

I really enjoy a story like this that makes me think about the characters -- thanks for sharing!
