Chapter 6

Her thoughts were broken by Swayam was standing in front of her.

His loving looks made her blush and thank god 10 times more.

"Shall we leave, where are we going first?" he asks.

"Yes we may, we cannot see Jaipur in one day, so I will take you to the nahagarh fort then to the jaigarh fort and to the amer fort today. By the time we finish all of this it will be evening and then we can return."

"How long will it take to reach these places?" he said walking outside with her.

"It will take an hour to reach all these places from here." She said taking him towards the caravan.

"Do we need to go here only" he asked

"What do you mean?" she asked to clear out her confusion.

"Sharon I do not want to see these places now, I want to meet the people, indulge with them, and know their lifestyle. I can see these forts anytime but I don't think I will be able to meet the people later. Please Sharon." He pleads.

"But your highness." she is cut but him

"Please Sharon" he asks pulling her close.

"As you say your highness, but we cannot see and meet the people like this."

"What do you mean?" it was his turn to be confused

"I mean to say that we have to change our royal clothing. I'll send your clothes to your chambers. No questions for now, I shall answer them later."

She sternly said and left.

"Did she just give attitude to me, to me, the prince of mithila, her future husband; you wait and watch, and I will make you pay." He thought and smirked.

He anxiously waited in his chambers, reyaansh and kriya left for their date.

He wanted to stop making her call him your highness. And for that he needed to spend some time with her. it had been an hour after dawn hand he met her two hours before.

"when will the servant arrive with my clothes?" he thought.

Just then a lady in a simple dressing entered, she could not have been a servant because royal servants have uniforms. Her face was veiled. She was holding a plate in which his clothes must have been kept. She appeared familiar to him. She kept the plate on the table and said

"These are your clothes your highness, the grand duchess sent them for you."

He now knew who the veiled woman was, she was not a servant, and she was the imperial highness herself. He wanted to tease her a little.

"I don't know how to wear these clothes, can you help me."

"Your highness, I cannot, I am an unwed woman and your servant. Over and above everything you re getting married to the imperial highness soon. It will be a sin on my part"

"Won't it be a sin for you to go against my wishes? I heard that wives are supposed to obey their husbands." He said coming close to her.

She shivered a little and started fidgeting with her dupatta and said

"What do you mean?"

"I mean to say that my future wife should help me wear these clothes"

He said pulling her by the waist and lifting her veil only to see her flushed face. She looked beautiful. Even in such simple clothing, she managed to look out of this world. No wonder he fell for her at the first instance.

"I can send someone to help you"

"No, I want you and only you to help me."

"Leave me your highness"

"No"

"Please"

"Fine, but only on one condition: accept it or reject it, I need an answer now."

"Accepted" she replies without giving it a second thought.

"You will not address me as your highness when we are alone." He says and pecks her right flushed cheek.

"What, no, I cannot, this is not fair, you tricked me" she said and pouted.

"Everything is fair in love, my love."

"But your highness..." he cut her in between and said

"Swayam"

"Fine, now get ready and let me go.'

"Wont you help me" he asked

"You gave me a condition; I accepted it, now you should accept my request. Now change fast, I am waiting in the garden downstairs."

"Fine" he accepted defeat.

She blushed at his antics as she left the room.

"He will never change" she thought.

He wears a dhoti kurta and comes to the garden. He sees her standing in wait for him. She was talking to one of her servants instructing them to do some work. He feels surprised not seeing any preparations for the tour, all he saw was a horse. She notices and acknowledges his presence. She walks towards him and says,

"I suppose we are ready to leave"

"I am but how and where are we going to go"

"I'll tell you that, lets go for a small walk around the garden."

"hmm."

They walk around for a minute when Sharon looks around checks and makes sure that no one is listening. She stopped and looked at Swayam, and said

"we are going to a place where you will know what you want to know, you might like it a lot."

"yes but how and where are we going?"

"you'll soon know my love"
