I think it happens at a later date because she gave the address of Arnav's flat at the hospital, that means they were probably living it. Condoms are never full proof or may be she forgot the pill sometime later.

But if they are living in and they have a steady relationship, why does she want an abortion in the first place?

Well finally! But having said that the prologue seems quite contradictory to their relationship. Although Arnav has said that he loves her but I keep sensing that he is not willing to meet her half way, I know that he has always backed off if Khushi is not ready, but never has he been willing to talk about marriage. So by telling Khushi that he loves her and knowing that Khushi cannot live without it's like giving her no option but to only give in!

So now I am wondering what made Khushi go for an abortion if their relationship was based on love would Arnav not be understanding?

Could be Family alert, her family may or may not know about their live-in arrangement. She won't risk her parents name and obviously won't want a child out of wed-lock.
That brings me to another question - would she talk to Arnav before deciding for the abortion?😲

It was extremely passionate and beautifully written...I loved the honest comment from Khushi...it was so very natural...Loved the way Arnav lightened the mood and reduced her fears...I loved the conversation about birth control...it was very true...It is so good to get two update back to back...so thank you for that...I am so glad to have you back NB. I wanted to read from last few chapters to get the full enjoyment of reading this story...and u already updated the next chapter...WOW...thank you...its beautifully written...their first night...Arnav is really considerate and this confident Khushi is a treat to read...looking forward to read the next part now...
